I don’t know what’s changed with Midas from the last time that I worked with them, but this will be the last time. They viewed me as a naive easy mark because I’m a woman who honestly doesn’t know a lot about cars.
Yesterday afternoon my car wouldn’t start due to a corroded battery. Scott from this store tried to quote me a $380 battery with a $60 install as well as $200 for a new cable that would have to be ordered in to arrive the next morning. ON A 2011 FORD FIESTA.
My dad got a good battery from Autozone for $110 and a cable for $17 and took 10 whole minutes to take out the old battery and install the new one. A fraction of the cost that Midas was trying to charge me for the same exact service.
On top of that, I had called Midas around 12 when my car wouldn’t start to get it towed. They said they’d send a guy out and call me when my vehicle arrived at the shop…..1 1/2 hours later there was still no tow truck in sight so I call again. To find out that the guy doing the towing was picking up a car on the southside and that they would call me back with an eta…..half an hour later still nothing back from them. So I call them AGAIN to let them know that I’ll leave my key in the glovebox as I had to go to work and was already 2 hours late waiting for this tow
I call an uber and arrive at my workplace. And still nothing back TWO HOURS LATER!!!! I finally call them AGAIN at 5 only to be told that they just now got the car and are looking at it.
I finally actually get called back by Scott who quoted me the outrageous pricing for the battery, cable, and install. I call my dad to figure out that a battery from WALMART would cost $100 so I called them back to tell them to put my car out in the parking lot and I’ll have my dad do it for me. I was met with disappointed tone and asked where they wanted my keys, I told them to put it in the glovebox, THEY COULDNT EVEN DO THAT!!!! They left my keys on the floormat instead!!
Shame on you Midas. And specifically shame on you Scott. If I could leave 0 stars I would, this is appalling behavior and I warn any woman trying to get work done here, DONT!!!! Absolutely outrageous!!!

Really great customer service! Offered us refreshments. I was able to get appointment reserved and confirmed same day. They are very helpful and accommodating. Friendly staff. I will recommend this place, they won’t pressure you but will explain any service that may need to be done in the future.

Adrian and Jay were phenomenal! I’ve came here twice and was treated with the upmost respect and patience. As a young woman who knows little about cars, Adrian was there to tell me all that I needed done to mines and what’s best for it. He even answered all my questions as best as he could, and made sure I understood what was being done to my car. These people went out their way to help me and I applaud them. Thank you so much!

They fixed my alignment and my exhaust, ordered me some other parts, and pressed a bushing in for me. They did everything i needed fast and cleanly. Highly recommended. Tech stayed late ion a saturday in a rainstorm. Great work

Great shop. Great customer service! Jay and the team at this location are wonderful. They care about their customers and truly try to help.
I needed 2 BFG mud/all terrain tires, for those days on the beach. These tires are pricey in todays economy. I literally went to 5 other tire retailers, Midas beat them all.
My Jeep also needed calipers, pads & rotors. They did the job quickly; effectively and the charge was very fair. Currently driving around with Jeep pride. We highly recommend this service center/Midas location in Orange Park.

JAY AND ADRIAN WERE VERY HELPFUL WITH SERVING ME WITH TIRES AND AN OIL CHANGE. THEY HAVE GREAT ENERGY AND I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK EVERYTIME I HAVE ANY KIND OF CAR ISSUES!!! THANKS GUYS SOOOO MUCH!!!
