We are extremely pleased with our outdoor kitchen. Mark and his team worked with us to help design and custom build an outdoor kitchen to fit our needs. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend Mark and his team for their great service and fair prices.

Well where do we start. The owner is a great sales man and that's about it. What should have taken a month took 3 to start with and not because we were waiting on appliances but because the actual workers were lousy. They wouldn't show up and then when they did would stay for just a short amount of time and they would need something and leave. We had to persistently ask when they were coming or would be back. When putting in the appliances they scratched the travertine in a few places and just hoped we didn't see it. Even after coking back and "fixing" it they still rescratched it but we were done with them. They did not clean up their mess we had to call them back to clean the brick. The brick oven was not vented correctly and still waiting on someone to come back out and correct it. Was not going to post this review but today was the final straw. They did not put the VERY expensive Firestone pizza oven in right and if we would not have been persistent in trying to figure out what the extra piece was and why the oven did not seem to be working right it would have been ruined after a short time. They forgot to put a supporting wall piece that it came with in the oven! Was supposed to be placed before the brick work! Needless to say we are so disappointed with the service, quality of work and lack of knowledge of these supposed 25 year veterans. Oh yea would think lying $25k uou would be more than thrilled with the outcome:( all we can say going forward is do not be swayed by pushy salesman!

This is a tough review to write. I actually really like Mark and his son, and I like this is a family business. That said, I really would not want to use this company again, nor would I recommend them.I contracted OKbD around the beginning of October 2020 to build an outdoor kitchen for me. I was having some family over for Thanksgiving and wanted it complete by this time. Mark came by, gave me a general sketch and price, and agreed to the timeline. After hearing a few other pitches, I went with Mark because he seemed the most genuine and likeable and assured me their work would be top notch. The issues began shortly after. The fridge I'd picked out became out of stock a few weeks after I'd agreed to begin work and paid half the project cost. Mark warned me at the initialconsultation that outdoor fridges were hard to get due to COVID and everyone doing outdoor projects. We found one that showed in stock on the website (though it was more expensive) and I went with that. A couple weeks later, the fridge no longer showed in stock. Turns out, Mark hadn't ordered the fridge despite me asking multiple times over those weeks if he had been able to order it. No biggy, I just had to choose a new one... Except the next model up was well over $1k - hundreds more than I had expected to spend. To Marks credit, he eventually ate the cost here but that was after more issues, which I'll explain below.Once construction started (a few days before the deadline), a contractor named Robby came to start work on my kitchen. Robby blasted loud music all day long. He certainly made sure to let my neighbors know what he was listening to, and didn't do my wife any favors as she tried to put our newborn down for naps. Not a big deal we thought, it was only a day or two, and we'd rather not upset the guy building our expensive outdoor kitchen. Turns out, the outdoor kitchen was incorrectly framed, which was discovered when the granite guys came to measure. Another day of repairing his work and things were looking like we'd reach the final stages.Wrong. So Robby quits after 'finishing' the outdoor kitchen. The electrician put the GFCI switch where it would be impossible to reach, and I had to catch and alert them to it. The workmanship was awful, with hammer marks in the siding, nail heads sticking up, uneven trim making the whole kitchen look crooked. Mark came by to collect final payment and didn't seem to understand my objections. He somewhat reluctantly agreed to have another contractor come fix the workmanship issues. The other contractor spent another two days fixing the issues (yes, the total time it originally took to build the whole thing). There are still items needing touch up that Mark promised months ago to fix, but never followed through. At this point, I've written it off.Did I get a kitchen I'm happy with? Mostly, thanks to my own insistence things be done workmanlike. Is Mark a nice guy? Absolutely. I think he may have just been spread too thin and the quality control was non-existent. I wouldn't take a chance with them in the future, nor would I feel comfortable recommending them to friends or family. Hope this review was helpful in your search.I've attached photos of the original 'finished' product they delivered (zoom in and you can see all the issues) and the current version after I insisted they fix the original issues. If you zoom in, you can see the current version still has issues that Mark promised to fix but didn't, but at this point it's a massive improvement over the first version.

We are more than pleased at our outdoor kitchen!! Absolutely beautiful and extremely well built. Our only issue was a non issue as it took a little longer than we thought but we didn't mind because the expertise and attention to detail was beyond anything we have experienced here in Jacksonville. You can't go wrong by hiring this company!!!

My wife and I put in an outdoor kitchen in November. It turned out great! We tell all our friends this was by far the easiest project we have taken on. Mark kept us abreast of the status of the project frequently. I don't ever remember having to call him, he always kept us informed. He is a fantastic communicator. Made it very doable and easy. Never had any ''surprises" because Mark was always on top of things. Would highly recommend this company for anyone who is looking for a custom outdoor kitchen that they can be proud of.

Used then for my outdoor kitchen and backyard design. They did my pavers and built my kitchen from scratch. I want a heavier frame and cleaner inside. He does more than just outdoor kitchens! He is really nice and professional and did a great job. We will use him again for another project. Very trustworthy and I have referred him to multiple people!

Looked ok the first few years. Then the low quality stainless steel access doors they specified and used have rusted from the inside. Door hinges rusted so bad they rotted off. Make sure you specify USA made materials and not the cheap Chinese made 304 Stainless Steel.
