Took My Dog There To Get Neutered. I Had Concerns Of The Swelling And Redness At The Surgical Site. Contacted The Office Was Informed To Email Photos Of My Dogs Scrotum. The Vet Would Review Pictures And Call Be. I Haven't Heard Back From Vet, Nor Office Staff. This Is So Unacceptable. I'm Changing Vets.

This is the best vet I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Dr. Oddy is amazing she really knows dogs. She makes things easy for both human and animal. One of the kindest people I have ever met. Thank u for being such a great vet

Don't go here! I took my 2 kittens here to get fixed and they said it would be about $200, after surgery it ended up being over $500!!! I gave this place a second chance after hearing good things about it & one day I came home to my cat sick. Everywhere was closed so I took him to blue pearl where they told me he had feline herpes. They told me he would be fine over night and to take him to my normal vet the next day. I took him to willowdale the next day and they said it wasn't feline herpes. Took him back 2 days later because it had gotten worse and they still said they didn't think it was feline herpes. I ended up at the all animal eye clinic where they said it was feline herpes and treated him for it and it was gone in a few days. $1100 down the drain. The owner will continue to say that I am trying to defame her business which isn't at all the case. I'm writing a review to warn people. I also left a Google review and a Facebook review where she completely lied and didn't take responsibility.

Our dogs go here. Nothing fancy but staff and vet are great. Reasonable prices. Will be taking our cats here too. They called to check up on our pups after they were fixed. They were nice upon check in, never had an issue. Would recommend to anyone.

I'm in tears and deeply disturbed by what my grandfather just told me. He is a elderly man who brought in his dog the other day, he told me that while he was at the front desk his dog got excited by the other dogs and knocked over my grandfather. Lots of people in the office and no one came to help him. The front desk woman asked if he was okay and he said yes but he was afraid he couldn't get up. NO ONE came to his aid even after he said that. To my horror he said that even the vet tech was behind him just starting at him in judgement. He struggled for a good while trying to get up. He was on his hands and needs and had to crawl to the window to be able to help himself, while trying to control the dog. Needless to say, I will be calling and attaining all of my grandfathers dogs records so my grandfather never has to step place in this building ever again. He is embarrassed and Injured and that couldn't have been avoided, but the fact that no one immediately rushed to his aid and just sat comfortably at the desk disgusts me beyond belief.

Willowdale is fantastic. I have been taking both of my dogs there for the past year. I switched to Willowdale after leaving a Veterinarian I really liked, but who was constantly pushing name brand this and over-priced that on my dogs without helping me "prevent" the issue from flaring up in the first place. One visit to Willowdale for the SAME issue I was dealing with my pup and I walked out $100 less than my previous vet AND with a home care regimen to help reduce her symptoms before they become an issue! I can't say enough about the compassion and care that Dr. Otte and Dr. O'Donnell and the entire staff have provided my dogs. Very happy here!

I have 2 large dogs and 2 cats.I love the staff at Willowdale. They are always able to get my fur babies seen even on Saturdays. Dr.Gimble and Dr.Otte are always willing to listen and give recommendations on the best treatment options versus just pushing expensive or unnecessary testing and treatments. All of the staff are great and are very attentive to the needs of my pets when they come in. I definitely recommend this place if you want to make sure your pets are in great hands.

Today was the second time I have been to Willowdale for veterinary services. Both times both Doc Otte and the staff helping were absolutely fantastic. The facility is immaculate and the work done is phenomenal. I 100% recommend anyone in the Jacksonville area to give this place a shot, especially if you have greyhounds, I will never go anywhere else.

It is extremely unfortunate that the front receptionists at Willowdale are extremely rude and not helpful or compassionate. My dogs were patients for a short time and we have been treated poorly on two occasions. Today I simply went to pick up medication and was told VERY RUDELY that I never called for the prescription. Surprised by this reaction, I explained that there was a mistake and gave dates of conversations. She was unwilling to help rectify the situation at all. Even though the vet was in the office. I returned home to get a phone call that the prescription is ready to be picked up?? Really? Needless to say, we won't be returning. I was warned by other neighbors about this rude behavior.

I started going to Willowdale over 15 years ago for my cats. About 6 years ago, I adopted a couple of dogs and they go to Willowdale as well. I always request Dr. Otto and am usually able to see her unless it's an emergency situation in which case I have seen Dr. O Donnell. I feel like my pets get very good treatment and care at this vet's office. The staff is always polite and the office is just so darn cute. The walls are completely covered with huge murals including some 3-D elements. When one of my cats became too old and ill to continue living a happy life, they were very compassionate and helpful when it came time to put him to sleep. They seem to really love animals and are very knowledgeable about treatment options. Their prices seem to be a little on the high side to me, but my furbabies deserve top-knotch care and I feel like they get it from Dr. Otte and Dr. O'Donnell.

Our cats and dog were being seen at another vet clinic in the area; we moved our pets to Willowdale when our dog developed a urinary tract infection and couldn't be seen that day. We saw Dr. Spicer that day and she was everything you'd want in a Veterinaria-enthusiastic and professional. We won't take our fur babies anywhere else.
