Tim was beyond helpful and took the time to show me different options and products that will help cover my tattoo. He made sure I left with everything I needed well within my budget! EDIT 10/13/23:I can’t respond to Tim’s gaslighting response directly, but “Rach” is my sister, who didn’t receive the axe described. So yeah, affected more than one person. Urge others to look for more reviews besides mine — such an odd demographic to take advantage of!Original review:Don’t order online! Not sure how ethical they are in person. My mistake to ignore the bad reviews as the same theme happened with me: received only one of my products, to which the owner responded it was UPS opening the package. There’s no sign of breaking into the package, it was completely sealed. And, conveniently, the owner takes a picture of online orders with the printed shipping label with the correct estimated weight as a way to take responsibility and shift blame to UPS. In reality, this isn’t proof of shipment, but a clever way to deter people from bubbling this up.I’m not going to call UPS as there are a sea of these comments and it’s clear they like to make a quick buck off crafters and cosplayers because they haven’t had to deal with consequences. Save yourself the time and money. I’ll be reporting to my bank for fraud and to the BBB. Shame because the cosplay bat I actually received was great!

Do not buy substantial amounts of ANY product from this company!I bought a little $10 cup of FX wax from them, and unfortunately didnt recieve it due to a package thief. That happens! Packages get stolen once in a while. I went to ask if they would send me a replacement, and the rep argued with me about trivial things like who delivered the package ( Amazon vs USPS) and that they would need a police file and someone to interview me about the theft before they would take me seriously. All of their responses were patronizing and ignored my original "can I get a replacement" question.Heres a quick lesson on how to handle a complaint like mine:Hello!I'm so sorry this happened to you. As the package was insured, you can file a report/ claim with USPS. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything/send you a replacement until that claim is processed or resolved.That took me 2 seconds to write. Its not that hard.

OMG OMG OMG!!!! You need something special effects makeup wise? Don't just saunter on in... RUN!!!! Do it NOW!!! This place and the staff are AMAZING!!!!! Well stocked with a variety of products and options and reasonably priced too!!!! The staff are VERY knowledgeable as well! I look forward to shopping with them on the regular!

I’m wearing a facial hair piece for a show and the generic spirit gum I got from a party store did not suffice. I ordered Kryolan Mastix spirit gum and remover from Embellish FX (it had good reviews and the description matched what I needed). I was AMAZED that the order was shipped out the very same day. The shipping was super fast (even though I did not pay for expedited shipping). The product works fabulously and I’m glad I got it so quickly so that I could practice with my mustache in rehearsal. Thank you, Embellish FX!

Really great customer service I have no clue what these one star amazon reviews are talking about. I had a problem with a pending charge and the problem was cleared up in a matter of seconds. Props to the person who had received my call they were nice, understanding, and cared about my issue. Based on this fact alone this store will be my first choice for my theatrical makeup needs. Highly Recommended.

I ordered the Orlando Ribbon Projects LGBTQIA+ ribbons shortly after the murderous slaughter of 5 innocent human beings at Club Q in Colorado Springs.They arrived quickly and are lovely. Very high quality. Passing them out among friends and family.

Clearly you receive a lot of returns around Halloween... clearly your sarcasm is what makes a GREAT company and customer support... clearly you need a course in business ethics...Here's what happened: I accidentally bought 2 blue face/hair paint on 2 separate days from 2 different companies. Yours was open, so it was a no brainier to use the other one and ship back the yours because it was opened!!!I DIDN'T HAVE A NEED FOR YOUR PRODUCT AND I HAD NO NEED TO OPEN IT.You claimed that I'm committing fraud but you're the one creating fraudulent photos after the fact, AND making assumptions that the product is opened, used and returned.... NOT the case...I will be rooting for you to go out of business. I reported you to BBB. I've made a one-star review on Yelp. I will not stop...

They send you products that are opened, and when you try to send them back, they dispute the claim with a photo of the product and shipping label.This logic is SERIOUSLY flawed!! How do I know you put it in the box and shipped immediately after snapping the photo?? How do i know that you didn't just take that photo today??I usually don't get so upset over $13 but this is NOW a matter of ethics. This company is NOT ethical, they're argumentative, and terrible customer support.

There is really no reason to support this business over using Amazon. An owner and co-founder was rude to me in email when I was trying to return unused product that I did not need, and their costumer service is lacking. The shipping takes ages and their fine print means you cannot return products, even unused and even when you are the one paying shipping, without also losing money they deduct to cover their allegedly free shipping in addition to a very high "restocking fee." But oh, he was "generous enough to waive the 20% restocking fee that I rightfully could have withheld from the return."All told I wound up paying $17 for the pleasure of not using a product. But oh, I should be happy because they could have upcharged more and "generously" chose not to.Talking down to me was where I draw the line. It was completely unnecessary. The tone was appalling; I was apparently supposed to be eternally grateful I was allowed to return a product from my order, something every other store on the planet worth anything allows. Simply stating why the unexpected extra $6 was withheld from my return would have sufficed, but no. The guy had to act like he was some generous god for allowing me to return something that I never used and paid shipping for.All said and done I only got refunded half of what I spent on the two products I did not use or need.Will never use again. It's the year of our lord 2022. We have better options.
