DO NOT GO HERE. Went there to get some parts for my car and was treated very badly. Was helped by a lady named Billy and she treated me like I was just a stupid female. She talked down to me. I may not know everything she knows about car parts, but I did know about what I was talking about and what I needed. I will never go back there. I will pay more for whatever I need before I will be treated this way again.

I'm sad to give this review. I noticed my car was leaking oil so I took it LKQ. It took a week for a quote, they said it would be 2 weeks to do the job. Finally got quote after a week and was told $1,300 and it would take additional week to complete. Decided to take it directly to Kia dealership and I'm thankful I did!! It wasn't what LKQ said it was and it will be ready next day! With a big total of $784.00. I saved money with rental car and saved me the hassle of dealing with someone who wasn't being honest. Thanks Kia!!

Its ok to buy body parts or somthing similar, but purchasing an engine or trans. Better be careful. Even if you buy the warranty. The warranty info on the paperwork you get doesnt even have the fine print which is that they only cover the labor costs for a professional shop based off the book estimate of what they say it is. Not what the shop actually charges you. So, I paid 300.00 for a warranty. And they paid out 250 for a transmission install that cost 1000 in labor because there estimate book said it would only take 5hrs in labor to swap out a transmission... this was after the first one did not function correctly within the first 60 miles of the 12,000 mile warranty that had been purchased. The replacement they sent was also unknown internal condition and the warranty does not transfer over... so, in that case it is a scam. The team even had the audacity to tell me that my EVAP code for the downstream o2 sensor may be ausing the issue with the transmission slipping.... Definitely shady business and I wouldnt recommend dealing with them. For the time and money I could have gotten a certified remanufactured trans. (They also dont tell you that you have to pay for the shop to do all the work and they reimburse you based off of what they feel is the correct amount) buyers beware...

For the last 25 years I had purchased recycled auto parts from Michael's auto parts on South Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando and my experience with Michael's was ALWAYS positive as the staff was first class and the parts were always reliable and fairly priced. It's been my experience with the now LKQ/Michael's that the tradition of excellence continues. In 2018 I bought a transmission for my SAAB that has been flawless in it's operation and the price was fair beyond words. Last week Julie at LKQ/Michael's intervened on my behalf in the delivery of another transmission purchase for my Volvo as there was a miscommunication between myself and the salesperson that I bought the transmission from as to its delivery and I take full responsibility for the mixup. Julie being the consummate professional and customer service oriented expert saw fit to see to it that my experience again be a positive satisfying experience at LKQ/Michael's and I greatly appreciate her valiant efforts beyond words as my transmission was delivered to the shop that ultimately installed it and I got my car returned to me on Saturday with the replacement transmission installed much to my elation and I have Julie to personally thank for her diligence in this matter. LKQ has proven itself to be trustworthy, professional and affordable. The staff makes it a joy to work with them and they'll meet your expectations on your level of standards and it will not be necessary for you to lower your standards to compromise either. Bravo LKQ/Michael's and BRAVISSIMMO to Julie!Thanks to you all for your kindness and high interest in the resolution of the issue that I faced. I'm indebted to you and particularly to Julie for going above the normal expectations and seeing to it personally that the customer was taken care of. I couldn't ask for more or better. I first ordered a transmission from lkq online on eBay and has issues with my order. Juliea the plant manager helped me greatly on the online people's mistake and made sure she took care of me making it right. I appreciate all her help and mistakes are made of course but it's nice for a company to stand up for their name as a company and make it right with customers rather than just blow them off and tell them good luck with the suck.

Aside from always having what you need, this time it seemed that nobody liked or wanted to do their job. I called to order a part and they tell me it has to b ordered in person. When I show to order it, guy says you didn’t have to order it in person. So I told him man I drove from apopka like what changed? His answer was well I drive from from farther then that everyday so who cares. I let it go cause everyone has bad days only to come the next day to the same guy having an additude with he cashier lady. Not sure it it’s different staff but in my 10 years buying parts from there I never had an issue.
