Room was great. Very comfortable. Hotel is in a great location within walking distance of Boardwalk, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios. We requested housekeeping and did not receive it. I had to flag down the housekeepers in the hallway to get fresh towels and give them our garbage.

I must caution potential guests about serious safety and service issues at this hotel. During my stay, I experienced unsettling breaches of privacy with my personal belongings being searched without permission, leading to credit card theft. My sister’s adjoining room key consistently malfunctioned, requiring either my intervention or security assistance. Alarmingly, the hotel’s response to these security issues was non-existent, leaving us feeling vulnerable throughout our stay. We received no room service, and despite promises of compensation for these grievances, the hotel charged us two weeks post-departure. This negligence extended to more than just our stay; the need to cancel my credit card due to the theft caused disruptions in my auto-payments, creating further complications. Guests should be aware of these significant concerns before booking a stay here

Some rooms have recently been upgraded. They are very modern and clean. We love the Swan already but the rooms are awesome. We had an amazing interaction with Coral at the front desk. She loves her job and it shows. She was so enthusiastic. My wife said after we finished checking in, Coral lifted my day. Now that says something about customer service. Give that amazing lady a raise!

The Swan is comfortable, clean, conveniently located...and really starting to show its age. The staff here are great: cheerful, helpful, and legitimately interested in our family getting a great experience. It is easy to get to all the Disney parks from the Swan, and even Universal Studios is not difficult to get to. My family had two adjoining rooms here that gave us plenty of space at a reasonable price. The only downside is the age and condition of the property. The hotel is showing its age in all the normal ways: worn and stained carpet, especially in the hallways, chipped ceramic tiles and tub enamel in the bathrooms, peeling/chipped/repaired paint on most walls, a malfunctioning room safe, etc. Of note, these are mostly cosmetic. There are no important comfort or (critically to me) odor issues. All in, this is a good budget option for staying on the Disney property at one of their resorts. Just be aware that this is a place to sleep--not hang out. If you're going for the parks and just need a place to crash at night, The Swan is the place. If you want a resort that extends your Disney experience to your room and makes you feel like royalty, choose a different property.

This Disney hotel(operated by Marriott ) like many other companies have a decline in attention to detail and quality in customer service.I come here once a year for work/convention and make a mini vacation out of it and I can tell with 100% of certainty that service doesn't not deserve 5 or 4 stars any longer . Location and the condition of the property in general is great, but not the customer service. My biggest disappointment was the Mexican Themed restaurant called Rosa, my experience there was so bad that I'll write a separate review for it .I hope Disney and Marriott find their way to focus again on quality staff that truly delivers hospitality.

Great Value! Very friendly and hospitable staff. You also get a lot of the same benefits as you would if you stayed at a Disney ran property. Within walking distance to Boardwalk, and has a dock for the boat to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. The rooms in general are very nice, however the shower can definitely use some updating, it was a little dirty and outdated. Overall a solid 9/10!

The Swan is an incredible place to stay for your Disney vacation. It's located within walking distance of the boardwalk, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. The lobby is massive with plenty of seating, which came in handy while we waited 7 hours for our room to be ready. The rooms are spacious for a Disney hotel. The beds and linens were very comfortable. Housekeeping only comes to service the rooms upon your request. This can be a plus or a minus for you. There are two Disney transportation options; the bus or the ferry. I would definitely recommend the Swan for your next stay!

TERRIBLE CHECK-IN EXPERIENCEWe checked in at the Swan for 10 days on November 18, 2023 at about 10:30 am.Since we had also booked a room for other family members we checked them in early afternoon. Their room was immediately available. It had a king bed with extra sink outside the main bath.Check-in time was actually 4 pm so we started the wait for our room. It wasn't ready at 4 pm. We checked again around 4:30 pm and it still wasn't ready. Now we began to ask questions and were told that the room wasn't ready since they had many people who had just checked out and staff had not cleaned all of the rooms yet. We waited a while longer and returned to the desk again. Same comment made and I inquired as to how long of a delay we could realistically expect. The employee told us that at the very latest our room would be ready by MIDNIGHT!!!!We were finally given a room but it didn't have the extra bathroom sink outside the main bath. Finally a manager stepped in to help.We had to accept queen beds instead of a king bed in order to get a room that we would accept. It was now after 5 pm and we had initially checked in at 10:30 am.The manager did give my husband some Marriott points due to the problems we encountered with check-in

We really enjoyed our stay until the end. the service was top notch, rooms were clean and nice. The location was awesome for checking out the Boardwalk and getting to Epcot/Hollywood Studios. The negative? we used Marriott points for our 3 night stay and still ended up with a $250 bill.. $40 per day fee (they get asked so often they have cards printed up with all the services you get to justify the fee- eg transportation to Disney, in-room internet- really? etc) and $36 a day to park.. getting that bill was kind of a negative way to end our stay.Walkability: The location was awesome for checking out the Boardwalk and getting to Epcot/Hollywood Studios.

Upon our arrival, I promptly sought to freshen up with a shower, only to be confronted by an unexpected and rather disconcerting scenario. The shower emitted a high-velocity stream, a curious amalgamation of air and water, which to my dismay, was tinged with a distinct brown hue. This peculiar phenomenon piqued my interest, as it appeared to be more air than water. In response to this inconvenience, I reached out to the hotel's front desk, anticipating prompt assistance. However, despite assurances of immediate action, no one attended to the issue.Compelled by the lack of response, I personally approached the front desk, somewhat dampened and visibly perturbed, armed with video evidence of the malfunctioning shower, spewing both air and discolored water. As a resolution, the staff relocated us to an alternative accommodation, which, unfortunately, was both smaller and noticeably less modern in its amenities.Reflecting on the overall experience, it is with regret that I must report a significant dissatisfaction with the service quality. While the culinary offerings and the geographical positioning of the hotel were commendable, these aspects were overshadowed by the aforementioned grievances. In light of these experiences, I find myself disinclined to patronize this establishment in the future and would advise others to consider alternative accommodations.

You're paying for location here... it's Disney! But I expected more. Resort fees and prices for food and beverage are high, as you'd expect. Was here for a conference and didn't use resort amenities, so that charge felt like a waste.Inconsistent brand of service, some was good, some great, others didn't seem service aware. This hotel is a bit tired. Saw maintenance crews working on the exterior, but the room interiors are what need care...The positives were that I found the linens to be quality and clean, mattresses and pillows comfortable. Loved having a balcony, but tired of the constant music playing outside.Baseboards and bathroom door and frame had a coating of dust, dirt and something sticky dried on. You can tell that their cleaning protocol is a light wipe down and not a deep clean. Baths and fixtures are aged and showing years of wear.Carpet in hallway was in poor condition, room carpet aged too. Also, male staff knocked on my door and just barged in when I was indecent, after I called to him not to come in, he said sorry and left. Hardly gave me chance to respond before coming in.Recycling bins were almost non existent on property (especially when walking outside - I saw none, only "trash"). There were some recycling containers in the conference centers, which I appreciated. Lots of plastic waste (plates, cups) in event catering going to landfills, very little real dishes used, which isn't right in 2023. I don't feel Disney is committed to environment or sustainability, which is a value I hold which would make me think again about spending my money here. Was here for work conference, would not choose to stay here personally.

BEWARE….valet at the hotel takes car for a joy ride! My relatives had a reservation at the Italian restaurant, they used the valet service and were greeted by Victor. When they had their car retrieved by Victor, the engine temperature was still warm, 2 hours after they gave the keys to valet. The car had a K-Tuner on board as well as a GPS device and an onboard camera with audio recording. The valet took the car on the roads around the property accelerating up to 65 mph in a 35 mph zone and nearly hitting another car making a u-turn. They complained to the valet management and management later replied they were pursuing termination of the employee. I believe the valet is a subcontractor to the hotel.

We picked this hotel because of its proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. We were not disappointed, easy walk to Epcot, 10 to 15 minutes. We didn’t walk to Hollywood Studios but it looked like it would take you about 20 minutes. The boat service to both is regular but is weather dependent and in bad weather it’s replaced by a Disney bus service. Transport to the other parks, and Disney Springs, are provided by Mears transport and they pick up outside the main entrance. They are regular, reliable and the drivers are very helpful. The hotel was undergoing renovations when we were there. Whilst the lobby and other public areas were excellent the room we had, whilst clean and comfortable, needed a refresh. Some of the electrical outlets were wore and loose. The bathroom was also starting to show signs of wear and tear. However the worst thing by far was the carpet in the corridor. I can only speak for the one on the sixth floor but it was terrible. It looked badly worn and dirty. If changing them is not part of the renovation process, it should be. That said every member of staff we encountered were lovely. They were helpful and did everything we asked of them. Despite the few gripes, the location, staff, transportation and the benefits of staying in a Disney deluxe hotel, out weighed them and we would definitely stay there again.

We went for a long getaway weekend , Thursday through Sunday. Many Pros and Cons. The Pros: Great accessibility to Boardwalk and Epcot , Very good restaurants for dinner, JAVA is great for a quick breakfast, lunch or snack(FYI if you are looking for wine to have in your room in the evening Java has a good selection at a more reasonable cost than room service) Cons: Room size is small which for us for a long weekend was fine, but if we stayed here an entire week I fear we would be a little disappointed. That said we would stay here again if we did another fun getaway weekend!

I had one night at the Swan, booked into the cheapest room category with no view. The rate, booked via hotels.com, was $297 for the night which was reasonable for a Disney property, although it's technically a Westin. The hotel has a nice location, fairly close to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, and within a short walking distance to the Disney Boardwalk. You can also enjoy the amenities of sister property Dolphin. The large pool area is shared between the two properties, and is overall very nice. While they were doing renovation work at both hotels, I felt it only disrupted my stay minimally, and the construction noise was negligible. The room itself was nice, although it did seem a bit dated, and it had an interesting musky smell. It was also somewhat cold in the room, even with the AC turned off. I liked the large TV, the fridge and the very lovely rain shower. The towels were also some of the most soft I have tried! On the night of my stay, I took the on-site shuttle to Disney Springs, which was fine, but when I wanted to return to the hotel from Disney Springs, the shuttle never showed up. Eventually I had to get a Lyft, so a bit frustrating. The hotel, as Disney World in general, has many restaurants on site (combined with the Dolphin) but I didn't get a chance to dine on site during my brief stay. I did like the hotel grounds overall though, with the vast choices of restaurants and shops - and the proximity to two of the Disney World parks.
