Beautiful environment! But the customer service is not the best Nina the nail was extremely rude and her jokes are insulting and makes one to feel unwelcome. Upon walking in the door she made a comment maybe no she can go home or somewhere else this was my first visit her energy is horrible don’t let Nina service you especially if you are of color she gives off she doesn’t like black women! Spend your money elsewhere the mistreated isn’t worth it! My toes look horrible paid 75 to be mistreated and with ugly toes smh

My experience at Emerald was not good yesterday. My daughter booked me an appointment at 5:30. First, front desk tells me she cannot find me. Then said sit down we will be with you. At 5:45 I had to ask when I will be seen. Front desk associate is not busy and could have easily explained that they were running late etc. But no just told me to wait at least another 10 minutes. Not apologize for being late. (I will not return.) My daughter however who was able to be seen at scheduled appointment 4 pm had a beautiful manicure and pedicure, received wine from nail technician. She was very pleased.

The only nail spa I go to. Reasonable prices and quality of service is topnotch. Been here multiple times and Jackie stood out the most for me. Her service is awesome! She takes her time and really takes care of you without saying a word. She’s got you, I promise! Thank you Jackie! Their front desk staff is always so friendly too and I never had to wait so long even without an appointment. A real gem in Ormond beach!

Honestly, one of the worst nail spa experiences I’ve had.
Nail tech used the dremel for my cuticles, but then used the cuticle scissors to then cut me several times. Was wondering why he kept spraying my hands with alcohol. One of the cuts was bad enough that he pulled out nail glue to staunch the bleeding(which I had to ask what it was and why). I’m not 100% sure, but the cuticle scissors that cut me may have made it back into the station’s drawer (I sincerely hope I’m wrong on that). The nail file used for manicure was dirty and had a previous customer’s hot pink nail polish already on it. Likewise placing my hands and feet on the rests without the towel down (who’s cleaning that?). Are all of their nail techs licensed?
My toes look even worse with gel polish everywhere. I was wondering why he filed all my nails again after putting on top coat for both the mani and pedi. As you can see from the photos, I have a couple visible cuts, and polish all over my finger I have to clean up myself. I did not notice this until I was out of the salon and in better lighting. Price for basic pedicure and manicure with gel upgrade before tip was $82.
I did not like that they could not check me out without my tech’s “ticket” which was just him walking up and saying the dollar amount, not stating the services rendered (i need to check whether it’s the same dollar amount as what the menu board stated) and even asked about his total as I was walking out after paying.
Decor and ambiance is nice. Salon’s phone seemed to be disconnected when I tried to book an appointment earlier today versus walking in. I will not be returning.

I love this place & Chris. I don't do black nails or designs but today I wanted something festive. Chris has told me that she doesn’t do nail art but I wanted something simple so she took care of me. Thank you again Chris.
