The Halifax Humane Society, Inc. Rescue ReTail Thrift Store offers a diverse selection of thrift goods, with a particular focus on pet-related items. Customers can find a range of items, including clothing, books, DVDs, and household goods, often at great prices. While the inventory can be hit-or-miss, new items are regularly donated, making each visit an opportunity for unique discoveries. The store's atmosphere is described as fun, funky, and clean, with friendly and engaging employees. Customers appreciate the organization's mission to help animals, and many are happy to support the cause through their purchases. However, the donation process can be a mixed experience. While some customers have reported positive interactions and gratitude for their donations, others have encountered rude and ungrateful staff members who seem unwilling to accept certain items. This has led to concerns that such attitudes could discourage future donations, ultimately impacting the number of animals the organization can assist. Overall, the Halifax Humane Society, Inc. Rescue ReTail Thrift Store provides a unique shopping experience with a diverse selection of goods, all while supporting a worthy cause. Customers are encouraged to visit and explore the store's offerings, but may also want to be mindful of the donation process and any potential challenges they may encounter.
Very clean store with a lot of variety, but the prices have become outrageous over the last year. Worse than goodwill.

They have nice items at this shop. However, some items are just way over priced and simply not worth it. Don't come here if you are looking to save money.
