It is absolutely incredible how as a customer you can wander around looking for a product, employees, huddle in gaggles trying as hard as possible to avoid eye contact or answer any questions, point you in the right direction. Or they just hide and there is no one around. If you ask them a question, they just look at you blankly or pull out a device poking buttons blindly. Finding someone here with the technical expertise is impossible. As a bonus check out can only be accomplished via self check out. I walked up to the regular register bank and stood for a moment when an employee told me I there was no one available to check me out. I told them I could wait. They told "you could be waiting for hours sir". I replied that in that time I could go to Home Depot. They then proceeded to smoothly check me out. Bless her heart for showing some humanity. I suppose it's the new way but there's also ace and Amazon next day shipping. Sad to see.

As a renovator, I've spent over $100,000 in the last decade, mostly at other locations. The service at this location is just too poor too frequently, unlike other Lowes stores.

I would give them 1/2 a star if possible!! Every worker inside is over or in their 70’s, good luck finding a person who knows what they are doing; good Luck returning something within the 30Day period, too! Save yourself and go to HomeD or Ace

I went for a bag of potting Soil and I came home with 2 40Lb bags, 6 extra pots and 4 New plants, and about 6 pieces of cuttings off others!! LoL Oh and some Root Tone, Rooting Powder! Now I gotta get busy transplanting, and planting my cuttings!! LoLoLoL,,, Ya Gotta Love it!! ????????????????????

Ordered microwave,stove and dishwasher plus installation from Lowe's Ormond Beach. The delivery and install is done separately. Lowes subcontracts with Crume to do the installation. You need to set aside two days one for the delivery and a second date for the installer. The installer installed the microwave and took out my existing dishwasher and removed from my condo. After unboxing the dishwasher he found it damaged and didn't install it. He left leaving the damaged dishwasher in my dining area and said he would notify Lowes. I found that I had to schedule Lowes to pick up the damaged dishwasher as they would not bring a replacement until the damaged dishwasher was returned. I again had to schedule a date for the replacement to be delivered. After the replacement arrived Crume indicated that they could not install for another 10days at the earliest!! I went back to Lowe's and requested a refund of delivery and hired a plumber to do the install. What a convoluted and un- customer friendly process .

I rented a box truck for moving proposes. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They had full knowledge about the service and even had recommendations for the best use of time. it wa an inexpensive and very convenient option. Truck was clean inside and out and had a back up camera; Great feature!!

I find most everyone at the Ormond store to be extremely helpful and friendly. They keep the stock on the shelves. This particular store had been very good at hiring people in the departments that have expertise of information which is a great resource when you are doing a project.

We went Christmas tree shopping in the outdoor tent and 3 Lowe’s associates refused to speak or assist us. Interestingly enough a white male came in after us and was spoken to and assisted. Disgusting behavior, forcing me to teach my son a valuable lesson about taking your money where you will be acknowledged and treated with respect.

After completely destroying my rear window of my truck, I have been Sent back-and-forth between Lowe's and claims to no Avail. I have spent many hours on hold. a employee even said "waiting on hold for a manager thats a Joke". I have a new one child and I'm traveling. This holiday week in 30° weather with no back window, no one seems to care. About what needs to be done "their policy" is just wait we will get to you

Generally speaking, I love shopping at Lowe’s, but as of late, their customer service is hit and miss. Their return policy will not allow exchanges without a receipt. Today, I found a scrap piece of broken moulding from an 8’ piece in their WASTE bin at the back of the store, which Harry, the Ormond Beach Lumber Manager, would not let me have (but would sell at a discount). I might add that It wasn’t long enough to use for my project, so I didn’t want to buy a piece that I can’t use. I simply needed it to see if the height fits between my counter and an electrical outlet plate where the measurement is critical (before I purchase full strips.) It’s just so petty that they would throw it away, rather than let a customer have it. :-( I’ll take my business to Home Depot as a result of this interaction.

Only one cashier up front and she is waiting on a customer running around the store looking for a price check. Nobody else around had to go to returns to check out, thank you Michael. Also went there trying to get carpet and tile installed. Turned away both times. Thank you Mr. Beard in flooring for being very helpful.

I go here to get my plants once a month and I love the garden section. Great customer service always friendly and helpful. Awesome go to for me always leave satisfied!
