I’m writing to report an experience I had at your store. When I attempted to return an item I had bought earlier that day, I was yelled at by staff and treated in a clearly racist and disrespectful manner.

We went to cook dinner tonight to find out our pellet smoker decided to die. I placed an order online and within 5 min I received a call from a young man who said not only do I have it ready, I have one already built! They were closing in 15 min and said head over without hesitation. Not only were there 2 young men waiting at the door for us. They helped load the grill, made sure we knew some much needed info and did it all with smiles on their faces. I wish I would have paid attention to their names but I was just trying to get out of there as quickly as possible not to keep them late. So to the fantastic gentleman working the closing shift this past Saturday, there need to be more like you around. As someone in the service business I know this type of work ethic and customer service are rare. Keep up the wonderful attitudes. Thank you again!!!

The store probably one of the worst stocked Ace Hardware stores. I found no friendly people help? They just pointed no help. This particular trip I was going to exchange a Craftsman screwdriver to find they had no screwdrivers to exchange. The area where the Craftsman screwdrivers were at the very bottom hidden in the back was full of Ace screwdrivers. Was told now that they're owned by Black & decker there's no need to stock any longer. From here on I'll go to the Franklin Street Ace in Oviedo, they seem to always be properly stocked and if they don't have it they will get it!

University Ace at 3755 Alafaya Trail has always been extremely helpful and eager to find and fix anything brought to the store. The special deeds that the big box stores do not offer. My husband always gives them a challenge and they always come through. Can’t say enough about them. So glad they are at that location!!!

I came in to the store with the kitchen drawer. I’ve been trying to fix and probably was overthinking to do it. Chuck came up with a quick And very simple solution, fixed it, no charge. I had no idea there were still places like this. And this store has just won a customer for life.

Very bad experience with the current store manager ,lied to my face , I called him out on lying, then he takes no responsibility for his own mistake, a employee , cought his mistake, that's bad , a manger that don't do his job , will not spend my money at a store that is disrespectful to the client, bad move ,,, 😕. , as for the employee there great at there job , nice and knowledgeable, better than the manger,
GET RID OF THE snowflake ❄️
And give a regular employee the possion

Do not use or trust the service department at this ace store. I took a running weed eater for repair after the cutting head quit spinning. Engine was still running when I left the weed eater. Since I purchased the weed eater I have only used premix fuels of assorted brands. I have never mixed my own fuels or purchased gas for any of my stihl tools. I have owned stihl brand tools for years and never had an issue with fuel. The little girl who I just spoke to basically called me a liar and refused to service the machine. She isn't the person I left the machine with. I would never recommend anyone return to this location for any service work. They are more expensive than other locations but thought I would try them anyway. What a mistake!!!!!!

They have no problem selling you STIHL products, but they have a problem when you return it for 7days later, with receipt, and unused. If you can't stand by it, don't sell it.

A lot of great tools and DIY hardware for weekend fixes. So much faster than big box stores like Lowes and Home Depot and a friendly staff that doesn't avoid you.

I want to start by saying I frequent this location. I recently came to this store looking for a niche set of bolts. The staff was great at trying to identify something that would suit my needs but it became apparent quickly that they did not carry what I was looking for. The team in store continued to assist me in identifying the bolt and thread size so that I could source them elsewhere even though they knew that they weren't making a sale. Awesome customer service and one of the reasons I'm a continued Ace Hardware patron. 5 stars!

I had dropped my phone off my balcony a couple months ago and have been trying to think of a way to cover the gap from the bottom of the railing to the edge of the floor. When I went into Ace, Tyler was at the help desk so I asked him what he thought would be best. My solution at the moment was duck tape lol. Tyler offered that the gardening edging would probably be the best way to cover it up and i could attach it with zip ties. So smart and renter friendly! It works perfectly and I am so glad he helped me out today!! THANK YOU!
