1/3/24 Update: I contacted corporate and spoke with the owner. He apologize and offered to promptly have the style redone. Much appreciated.I had a horrible experience at this salon. While the service itself was nice the hair style by Maya was not worth the money I paid or the service requested. I booked Seagalese twist small/medium, which was $300. What was said while I was in the shop was concerning. Another stylest was trying to show her how to do a twist method which she stated she didn't know how to do it that way. I was on vacation and didn't have time to get my hair done before my trip and since I have been to the ADU South Florida salon and never had an issue with having a bad hair style or someone who does not know how to do the hair style requested. I thought I would try this Orlando location . If she doesn't know how to do a hair style that fine just let her clients know. I went to get my hair done 12/27 and my hair has already started falling out and I have had to retwist my own hair. I called to complain and was told that someone would contact me back. It has been two days and I am still waiting on a call. At this point its a tough lesson to learn. I wont be back and will continue to only go to hair styles that I know actually know how to do hair. Today is 12/29 the pictures are from the day after until today.

For my 26th birthday all I wanted to do was have my hair and rollers which I haven’t had since I was in kindergarten. at the very last minute I booked with the salon the receptionist was very professional, and very kind over the phone. She even booked me with the owner, which I felt very relieved of.Coming in stepped through the doors about maybe eight minutes before my appointment I did not get seated into the chair until about 45 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start I was informed that they were swamped with other appointments which I understand I was not in a rush.Karen, the owner was very informative and even asked me if I was all allergic to anything considering that I believe they use natural products. She wanted to make sure that I was as comfortable as possible asking me if she was a little too rough on me and I told her no. I did bring some of my own hairspray, clips and hair rollers, so that way I’m able to take them home. ( if you were bringing anything to let them know when you’re booking your appointment so they are aware).I think the next time that I book, I will be sure to inform my stylist to use a lesser temperature on heat because I was really worried about adding too much heat to my hair. Not sure if that’s because of the style that I was getting, but just a lower temperature next time.I do have to say my experience was very relaxing, especially with gospel playing in the background. And as a person who suffers anxiety, I was very relieved that there wasn’t much activity going on.Thank you so much ladies for the great experience. And also the Haven restaurant that I went to. It was really nice. It had maybe two points down but in all, I feel like it was a decent experience.

This is my second visit at this salon. I had a first experience with another stylist who was amazing and for that I will be back. This experience however was not as pleasant. I came in for my hair to be washed and twisted (I’d done the take down of my hair myself) and I wasn’t pleased with the experience. Maya was the stylist I defaulted too because I didn’t remember the name of the stylist I went to on my initial visit to the Orlando location. However, Maya was very VERY rough with my hair. She didn’t sit me in the chair to detangle the hair prior to washing it, which is something that other ADU stylists have done before. Didn’t touch the hair before washing it just took me to the back to start washing. It got worse when she was washing my hair then proceeded to try to detangle my hair WHILE it was wet. This is basic black hair care to know not to do that but she did and it was a very PAINFUL experience. I could hear my hair being pulled out my scalp forcefully. When Maya asked if I was in pain and I said “yes” she didn’t apologize and then blamed me for not detangling before I came in after I’d taken my braids out. I felt like it was a burden for her and I’d never been made to feel that way about my hair in all my time going to ADU. I was a customer who used to go to their south Florida location before I moved to Orlando and I want to continue to support this black business but not if the individuals in there don’t know how to handle textured hair with care and patience. This was my first negative experience and it made me feel terrible about my hair, I’d be hesitant to go back if it were not for the good history I’ve had with All Dolled Up but this was a huge miss and blow to my self esteem. Thankfully the hair came out fine but I was just ready to leave by that point. Maya also offhandedly mentioned I had a short spot in the back of my head that I don’t believe I had prior as the first stylist didn’t mention it or any stylist before Maya. I just feel like she ripped my hair out because it felt AND sounded that way. I’ll continue to remain faithful to the salon cause it’s a good place with nice stylists but if I can avoid Maya I will cause I’ve never had my hair handled so carelessly or be made to feel like such a burden before.

CUSTOMER BE WARNED: I ended up getting an infection from whatever product was used on my head. I was burned multiple times while getting my hair straightened. Nor was I told that I had to pay for a trim I was asked “would you like a trim as well” and then after I agreed with no price said I was told “yes you are going to need it cause it is too damaged..” and in which she cut a LOT of my hair off because it was “damaged” without even asking if it was okay to cut that much just that it “ had to be done” Last but not least my hair came out stiff STIFF and not silky. I could of did everything she did at my own house. Safe to say I will never go back. Awful experience. I wasn’t even asked any questions during the process and she didn’t even ask how I wanted my hair parted AND IT WASNT EVEN PARTED STRAIGHT i had to go home and fix it myself. Very obvious that the lady was new as she asked frequent question to her coworker. I tried to complain and get my money back but was told it was my fault because I “bleached and dyed my hair” before the appointment which is my fault when I told them I bleached+dyed it 2 days before. I was over talked, accused of doing whatever happened to myself and wasn’t listened to. And the silk press was stiff and looked like I just straightened my hair at home.i wasn’t satisfied with my style and had to wash it out within the next two days. I Will definitely be looking into a lawsuit, it was a traumatic experience and I cried as soon as I got in the car. I feel bad for any future customers.Service: Hairstyling

I did a walk-in wanting a trim, and they did wonderfully. The price was great, and the salon was so organized.

I never believe it works this way, I was very doubtful about binary trading, I decided to risk $700 with Mr leo henry when I saw testimonies of people on how good he is, I was very skeptical but he proved me wrong when I made a withdrawal of $9000 and I'm so happy now? Goodbye to scammers. He is super trustworthy professional.

Loved the atmosphere of the facility as well as the music. My stylist was Romana. She was nice and made me feel comfortable to an extent, however I wasn’t offered a beverage such as the other client that was there.I just expected better hospitality in that sense without me having to ask. Perhaps I’m wrong. Anyway, I asked for flat twist and when I eventually took out my week worth flat twist it did not look up to par versus what I’m used to. I expected my twist out to look amazing especially having it in for a week. After leaving Tampa, I just haven’t find the right person for my hair unfortunately. Perhaps it was just the stylist but I wasn’t too fond of my style(after taking out the twist) that cost me $95. Also the gel she used left my hair feeling heavy and stiff after taking out the twist. If I ever do return it would be someone else and hoping to get the desired look.

Janesia was amazing to work with. Haven't had a haircut to my natural hair since last February. Talk about a mess. Janesia asked me a few key questions about what I wanted, told her wasn't quite sure, but she took what little direction I gave her, and turned it into our own lol!! Loved the style can't wait to show it off.

The workers there are absolutely nice. However I feel kind of robbed. For starters I got a new person and although I know everyone is learning, but I did not want my own hair to be the test. Another co-worker had to assist her in trimming my hair, another one had to tell her to put oil sheen, and I simply did not get the overall beautiful feeling after my silk press. My hair was poofy by night time, and worst of all I asked to get my hair wrapped and she could not wrap it . No offense to her, she is learning. But when I set my appointment I asked for someone who knew how to do silk presses well, and I was told "we just got some new people and they are even better than the last".... I'm disappointed.
