Cavallari Gourmet is a staple and welcoming family-oriented market in Oviedo. It is a great place with quality food and a friendly, helpful staff. The business features a large meat case with awesome steaks and other meat cuts that are tender and delicious, with reasonable prices. The market also offers premade meals, a small deli counter, olive oils, vinegars, and specialty ingredients. The deli does a substantial lunch and catering trade. Must-try items include the absolutely delicious chicken salad and the awesome pistachio bread pudding. The service is noted as excellent, with staff willing to help trim meat for recipes. It is a warm and favorite local shop where customers can taste the difference.
We have visited Cavallari a couple of times and, overall, it is a good small convenience store with a butcher shop; that said, we had hoped to find a wider variety of Italian products.

My favorite little hidden spot! I was amazed how many people have never heard of it! Every time we sell a grill at home Depot I put people in your direction! 😉
