I contacted Leslie's to have my pool motor replaced, and my experience was frustrating from start to finish. First, the technician was late—my appointment window was between 8-12, but at 12:30, I had to call to find out what was going on. It turns out he was running late from his previous appointment, which is understandable, but I would have appreciated a heads-up rather than having to call myself.
When the technician finally arrived, he replaced the motor only to discover that he didn’t have the necessary O-ring to complete the job. He said he would call the store to check if they had one in stock. I ended up going to the store myself, where they told me they didn’t have one either but would call around to other stores. The manager assured me he would get back to me, but I never received a call.
Over the next few weeks, I repeatedly had to follow up, only to get vague responses or no call-backs. The service technician apparently doesn’t work weekends, which caused further delays. It took three weeks before the manager finally told me the O-ring had arrived, and then I was told I’d have to wait another week to have it installed.
Meanwhile, my pool has been sitting unused under the hot sun, turning green due to Leslie's inability to complete the job in a timely manner. This lack of urgency and communication is completely unacceptable. My pool has been out of commission for nearly a month, all because Leslie's service department failed to prioritize their customers.
I definitely will not be doing business with Leslie's again. They clearly don’t care about their clients.

Really disappointing experience- do not buy expensive equipment from this store. They hide behind it not being their liability to get out of replacing items. Bought a top end pool heater from them- stopped working within 6 months and they didn’t replace/reimburse anything.

They have the best prices and they are helpful. I have taken care of pools for 35 years and appreciate knowledgeable employees (esp the manager).

I never have a good experience coming here, the so called manager is pushy in selling, he looks up your history and tells you that you haven't bought this or that for a while and expects you to buy what he tells you. I have done separate water testing from the same time with the other well known pool chain store and my water comes out perfect but not at Leslie's! The results are always way off. I also bought self testing kit and it is very close to the other pool store results, but Leslie's is way off . Just be careful and do your homework before spending what could be a lot of money worth of chemicals you don't really need.

Right now I am only giving this 1 star. We ordered a pool back in March and still have received our order. Every time we try to find out what I going on with our order we get the run around. They say they will call back and we never get an answer.
