Unless you're not in a hurry, or maybe you enjoy being ignored for an extended period of time, i recommend going to another shop. Horrible service will not be returning.

Keep your receipts. I would say my recent experience at this shop was okay at best, and incredibly frustrating at worst. Staff was friendly enough, if a little distracted, though you're not going for the customer service. What I did go in for was an oil change and wheel alignment for a car I just bought. I brought the car in around 2, and I'm under the impression no work was done that day. Apparently they were behind, which is reasonable and happens. I was sent faulty messages about my car being done, which interfered with my plans. I left my vehicle overnight for their convenience and was told today (after I had already paid for both the oil change and wheel alignment) that they just wouldn't do the alignment. I'm no expert and I'm out of my depth with automotive work, but I know enough to say a few things assuredly; the price of my oil change was astronomical, and there was no reason they should have been unable to do the wheel alignment on my car. When prompted, the gentleman behind the desk spouted jargon at me and tried to sell me a full set of tires so they could do the alignment. Again, I'm out of my depth here, but I was not pleased with this response given that in the diagnostic I was actually shown, there was nothing wrong with the tires. I'm thankful I kept my receipts, and I did get refunded for the alignment, which was great! I can't in good conscious recommend this place, however. They seem to be under new management and are running around a lot. Maybe when they get settled it'll run a little smoother. A 24 hour oil change isn't what I would call good business. Don't waste your time.

Made an appointment to have my tire looked at for a possible air leak. Waited for almost 2 hours and my car was still sitting there untouched. I approached the counter and was told they were short of staff, but it would have been better to be told they are short and see if I can come back later. Ended up leaving, wasting 2 hours of my day! I would give zero stars if I could. DO NOT GO TO THAT LOCATION

The worst in customer service. I understand that the guy do the work, but if you see the car, you can stop and ask them how can I help you. Justa ask, and if you are busy the person decide if can wait or not. I do not recommend, for anything. THE WORST EMPLOYEE?

Had tires put on at this location a while back. Seems like they don't check their own work, as I just found that the passenger front tire was installed with the bold print INSIDE indicator facing the OUTSIDE of the wheel.No apologies when I told them about it, just an apathetic "ok bring it in".

*update. I recently stopped going and went down the street. Last couple times they were short and rude and just seemed annoyed we needed the car worked on. Shame.I am happy with the services performed. The cost was slightly more than some other places I have regularly used in the past, but my first experience with them was a good one.

Avoid making appointments at this location. They are not able to keep them.Booked an appointment online for an alignment. When I arrived for that appointment, I was informed that the technician was not available until the following week. I re-scheduled with the tech at the counter for another day. I arrived to THAT appointment to find out the technician was once again, unavailable. Apparently he wasn’t even scheduled to work that day.Two days I took off from work early for what were supposed to be confirmed appointments.. Honestly, you’re better off finding somewhere else to have an alignment done.

Oviedo Pep Boys is the BEST. Kaitlyn at the front desk has the sweetest personality. She is patient and kind. I was very impressed with our mechanic, Patrick, who fixed our car. He knows his stuff and worked extremely hard to get our vehicle back to us the same day!Thank you, Oviedo Pep Boys! Well Done!

Appointments mean nothing and service takes forever. 6+ hours between brake and suspension inspection + tire rotation and alignment. Had to call and ask about my car's status, was told it was ready and was unsurprised to find my car without wheels on it. Save time by going ANYWHERE else. Last time I had my oil changed here it took over 4 hours.

Review - very slow work, I suppose due to lack of employees (which is the new post 2020 world?). They were not able to deliver service in a timely manner as projected. After spending thousands there … I WILL NOT GO BACK. Maybe… if and once they are able to hire and keep more staff. Seems the management is overworked and with a lack of mechanics work in the garages cars cannot be completed in a reasonable time. Unfortunate but expected, I am to blame - shouldn’t have tried to save a few dollars and just went to dealership. Lesson learned

I went for an oil change yesterday and because it was a 2023 car, they didn't have the right oil filter and it would be another hour. They offered me a Lift ride home (no charge) and come back when it was completed. Never experienced this before and a great courtesy to customers. Very impressed!Thank you Pep Boys.

This is by far the worst experience we’ve had with a mechanic shop. There is a long back story involving poor customer service, mis diagnosing the initial problem, sending notices that the car was finished before it was and asking that we no longer use the app and communicate with them directly, and on and on but the worst was charging for a NEW battery and alternator and after a nightmare of dealing with them and getting the car 2 days after promised- the car wouldn’t start after being driven for one hour. After fighting and following up with the store manager and refusing to tow the car back at OUR expense as they suggested he explained that the alternator they installed was refurbished. I paid for a ‘NEW’ alternator and this is what I received. We are now awaiting a refund but I am doubtful that getting that resolved will be that easy. The worst part in all of this is that my husband and I are dealing with it via phone on my daughters behalf as she is away in college near this shop. We explained that to them BEFORE towing the car there in the first place. We discussed the situation at length and explained that we’d need to deal with it all as she is 18. They took advantage of the situation and I am appalled and disgusted. Do not ever take your business to this shop.READ YELP reviews- I just went to leave the same review there and found a review about a similar issue with an alternator that stopped working the same day just two weeks ago. This is obviously something that they do regularly!
