“Just moved here 3 mos ago and had to find a vet. Park Heights was very helpful with getting our dogs information from our previous vet. They are very friendly, great with the dogs and very caring. They got us in within a day and even checked up on my pets after the visit to make sure they are doing OK after there shots. Would highly recommend.”

“I’ve lived in CA and several places in Florida and I’ve used local veterinarians in each location. Since moving to The Villages I've used Faithful Companion and hands down they’re the best vets and support staff ever. At my last visit this week especially, I received a down to earth, realistic prognosis and treatment plan for my dog. Expensive and pointless testing was neither pushed nor recommended which was so refreshing. Thank you Faithful Companion for being so genuine.”

Doctor Porter it's an excellent vet. Once you get past his bedside manner, which is a little distant. However, he truly cares about your dog and his very knowledgeable with tons of experience. No frills with this practice, just good veterinarian care at very reasonable prices.”
“It looks like this where I’ll be bringing my dog forever. They sent me a reminder of some shots that my 9 year old yorkie needed and that was very helpful because o did forget. The staff is professional and friendly. Most importantly all of the staff that handled my dog was super nice to her. Amazing place to bring your dog or cat.”

“Only had to use them for an ultrasound for my dog as I use Park Heights. But the receptionist was very friendly, the technician was friendly, the wait time for the out of town specialist was minimal and the place was clean as a whistle. All around great place. Would definitely use again. Added photo of Jewel's, she prefers her little sisters bed.”
“Have been taking my 11 year old beagle there for five years. She has neck and back spinal problems that can lead to paralysis and could require emergency surgery they are great at getting her in same day when she has a flare up. She had an injury that aggrieved her spinal cord with pain and limb weakness I was out of the state and my mother took her in and I called while she was on her way. They took her straight back because she needed to be seen for a potential surgical emergency. They are an amazing and caring staff. They even call a couple days later to check on her. I would highly recommend them to anyone.”
“A very knowledgeable vet, so hard to find for birds. I am a foster for a parrot rescue here in Florida and she was amazing! I also have ducks of my own , rescues from Wisconsin, and she will see them too. Love her and her practice ?

“Took my cat in for the first time - excellent experience. They were all VERY kind. The price was reasonable and the wait was short. I felt like they really cared about my baby. He was scared and they treated him with kindness and empathy; he peed a bit in his crate and they even cleaned it out. 10/10 experience. Will be taking all of my pets there from now on.”
“My young cat is very feral, petable, but feral. The vet was doing shots in the middle of the fish area. I told her that wouldn't work because if he bolted (which he did), we'd never catch him again. The tech suggested taking him into the restroom, which worked perfectly. It was an area where he was easily caught, scruffed, given his rabies shot and put back in the carrier, with everyone unharmed and safe.
I would use them again.”

“I absolutely love these vets. I went to them for years, then we moved to South Florida. When we moved back up here I was excited to be able to use them again. I have an extremely protective German Shepherd Dog who will get aggressive towards people who come around me. They recognized this and prescribed meds to give her before arriving at their business that calmed her way down. They also loved on her and made her feel comfortable and safe. They give very thorough exams to make sure your pet is in great health. All the staff there are outstanding, from the ladies in the front office, to the technicians and the vets. They are very compassionate. I had to put my lab to sleep a couple of years ago because she had cancer. They were wonderful to me through the whole process and allowed me to have as much time as I needed in the room with her. It was a difficult time, but their compassion helped immensely. If you are looking for a good veterinarian office, Park Heights is the best. You can trust them to provide excellent care to your pet.”
“Diamond is amazing. I brought my kitty in and couldn’t afford to get him what he needed. Not only did she work with me, but she supported me through a whirlwind of emotions. Now, Noodles is in the works of getting better and it’s thanks to Diamond.
The rest of the staff is friendly and outgoing. Now that I’ve been here, I can’t imagine going any where else. Thank you guys!!”

“I am so appreciative of their care and compassion. I had a very sick cat and immediately my regular vet wanted to put him down. This was my first time retrieving semen to be frozen from my stud DDR German Shepherd. I will continue to use her practice for all my dog’s fertility needs. Quick turn around on progesterone levels. “We moved to Ocala in June, we called VCA at Buffalo Ridge for our lovely Rose. During the move we noticed a lump on her eye lid. This popped one night right after we moved into our home. They were so passionate with her and the staff is polite. They made us feel she is part of their family. I love her doctor. She so soft spoken and answers any concern we have.
Just this week we noticed her eye was getting another infection. I called the office explaining the situation, and asked if we could pick up the same prescription ointment or should we make an appointment. The person I spoke with said, no we have a refill and they would contact us when it was ready, she did advise it could take up to 48 hours. We were very impressed the same day her medicine was ready to be picked up. The office is not close to us 30 minutes drive, but this is definitely the place for Rose.

“My husband has taken our female German shepherd here several times for acute pancreatitis/gastritis . My husband is currently deployed and u had to bring our male German shepherd in for an issue. The front desk immediately got us back to a room. There was a bit of a wait ( around 2 hours ) but I also heard other pet owners crying and having been in that side of and emergency vet before , I could empathize with it being one of the worst days for them. They do triage in order of how stable pets are . Fortunately my pups issue was non life threatening, just unable to get a vet visit at our regular vet until the end of the week.
Once the tech came in and took all the info, then the doctor came and evaluated . She was very kind and was able to determine the issue pretty quickly. My dog was medicated in office with two shots . The tech did a great job injecting him since he was nervous. We were sent home with mediations and he is feeling better today!”

“I brought my Cavalier Maddie to Oxford Animal Hospital for the first time yesterday and we had a terrific visit. Dr. Madera, Jessie (the tech), and Mackenzie (front desk) were very professional and helpful. I highly recommend this vet office.”
