An absolute blessing! The shop my parents typically use (due to location) would take 1-2 weeks, if not more, just to start the work. Gaines absolutely wonderful employees did the original work plus more in a day! Now the truck drives like a beautiful beast. Thank you to everyone there AND thank you Randy! Yall are amazing!

Had an fj brought in to put in cv seals. Seals still leak, took them too long to get to my car after I dropped it of at my scheduled time. Adter I got my car back it still leaked, and several years later when i went to install suspension i found a worn hub on the front passenger side that was seized and un able to remove without extreme difficulty and 2 of the bolts on the hub weren't event tightened they weren't event touching. Not I'm having to fix their mistake with more money and more of my time that they've already wasted alot of. Did I mention they never fixed the initial problem I brought my car in for and only created more problems?

My wife and I have been having our cars serviced at Gaines Auto Center for over 20 years. We have been very pleased with the quality of service. We had become frustrated with car dealership service centers with high prices and little or no contact with the mechanics. At Gaines, I have direct contact with Bryan, the owner, to discuss repairs. Prices are reasonable and the workmanship professional. Bryan has always looked out for our best interests to keep our vehicles in safe and good running order. We highly recommend Gaines Auto for car repairs.

Talked to someone behind the counter who needs to work on his customer skills. I wanted to start bringing my car for service. It ended abruptly when I was told he had a business to run and disengaged from our conversation.I was embarrassed and felt like my future business didn't matter.I will never go back.

Honest, reliable, professional shop! They have always served my family and me well with maintenance on our autos. Only shop I trust to touch my truck. Diagnosed a bad pinion bearing, had the parts ordered and repaired and me back on the road in 2 days. Highly recommend Gaines Auto!! Thank y’all for the amazing work and amazing customer service!!

Brought my car to another mechanic who wouldn’t even touch it because it was a Subaru. Took it to Gaines who looked at it right away, diagnosed a complicated problem related to poor work from a body shop earlier in it’s life and did the work for a reasonable price in good time.Gaines is my new go to mechanic. Highly recommended.

So I called for estimates to do front brakes.. I was told standard brake job was $200.I took it in and they quoted me $1,000 for just front brakes. Well no way as a grandmother on a budget could I do that. So I had to pick it up but was charged $60 for them looking. I guess I should have known this in hindsight but I didn’t and they were not transparent about it. I have mechanics in my family who live out of state. The question was asked how do they know the caliper is bad? Did they take it off? Highly doubt it because that would cost them time and money. So I called and asked to which the man answering the phone skirted the question and got a bit testy with me. Well I left and called a mobile mechanic .. he fixed my car today at less then half of the Gaines quote and the calipers were fine and the brakes at Gaines I was told were metal to metal they weren’t they were trying to scare me so I would get the brakes done there. I don’t appreciate them taking advantage of people , especially me as a women. Let this be a lesson. Look at all the reviews before you do business with others. The one thing i can say as a plus was the owner was gracious enough to run me home nearby. Honestly though I will never go back.Service: Engine repair
