I brought my truck to Pep Boys because it was making a loud noise anytime I accelerated — the whole reason I needed it checked out. They told me the turbos needed to be replaced and said it would take about 2 days. Instead, they kept my truck for 1.5 weeks, leaving me stranded with no vehicle and very little communication about the delays.
During that time, they said they discovered the exhaust manifold and multiple bolts also needed to be replaced, which added over $1,000 to the total bill. I agreed to the repairs in good faith, trusting that the issue would finally be resolved.
But when I picked up the truck and drove it off the lot, it was still making the exact same noise — the one I brought it in for in the first place. It’s incredibly frustrating to be without my vehicle for that long, pay that much in repairs, and still have the original issue unresolved.
This needs to be addressed immediately. I paid for a fix that clearly didn’t solve the actual problem.

My wife was on her way home when she noticed she was losing air quick. I was able to help her get her tire changed and her spare on and get her on her way to where we live in Milton. She was going to go straight to Pep Boys in Milton and get the tire repaired or replaced. She called them about 5:45 and they told her she would be better off bringing it in a different day. She said forget that and drove to the Pep Boys in Pace. There she encountered two employees, Chaya and David that went above and beyond to help her get her tire repaired one hour prior to their closing. They set the bar for the other employees there and get this location 5 stars. The store in Milton will not get any more of our business and pales in comparison to the crew in Pace.

On the way home from work, while driving on I10, my tire was losing air very quickly. Got the spare on and arrived at the Pace location about 620PM. I asked if there was any way someone could peek at it and see if it was repairable. Chaya got right on it and within less than five minutes, found the leak. Thankfully, David was available to fix it quick. I was pulling out of the parking lot about time they closed. I recognize it was near the end of their work day. They could have said no, as another shop had, telling me to wait until tomorrow. They treated me no different than if it was first appointment of the day. What I appreciated most was the willingness to help at the end of the day. Because of their help today, I could have peace at mind tonight and go to work safe tomorrow. Very thankful!

I made my appointment online, I had two tire sensors replaced on my 2011 f150. Within a couple of hours they replaced them and rotated my tires and everything was done properly and quickly.

Well I just had some more work done as I am leaving for Alaska soon and the vehicle needs to be ready to go for my sister. Pep Boys did a complete brake job, replaced burned out light bulbs, did a complete suspension inspection, changed my oil and filter, installed a Reese towing hitch and ran the wiring thru the body like a professional installation. Damn it looks so good. I am 100% disabled and I am so happy with the work that was done. I put my sister on my Pep Boys account in case she needs anything with my vehicle or hers. So impressed. The service manager (Chaya) needs a raise and the technicians are top notch. Thank you Peo Boys. Best money I ever spent. Customer Service is phenomenal.

Excellent advice, service and customer care. Tyler was the service technician and Mrs. Chaya Likehart the Service Manager. What a pleasure to interface with them. My leaking tire was repaired in record time and there was no charge. Wow.

I called to make an appointment for an alignment and this store got me scheduled for 11:00 am. I dropped my vehicle off early, and they finished the alignment before the scheduled appointment time. The customer service was outstanding.
