I asked an employee for help locating an item and he gave me the most complicated directions instead of showing me were it was located. When I finally figured out what the heck he was talking about and got to the area he sent me another employee in that area of the store was totally confused also. Like really dude if you don't want to do your job quit and let someone who wants to work get it.

It's Wednesday june19,2024 @1:50pm and I just walked out of the Home Depot in Palaka, FL. What a extremely poorly managed store. I ask 3 employees standing together talking in the appliance area where to find something. None knew where the product was,they sent me to the wrong place, then I ask another who also sent me to the wrong place, So I ask another and again I was sent to the wrong place. Not a one them ever attempted to show me so I walked out. Go to Lows if you want customer service because Home Depot employees are not going to Help.

I own a business. I normally buy from home depot if I can. The reason for the one star is that Home Depot in Palatka keeps their loading zone roped off. They say its because people park in it. Its been roped off most of the time for thhe last few years. People try to park in HD and Lowes loading zones all of the time at every one in America. So they usually have a loading person that manages the area. Nothing is special about the palatka HD loading zone. Yet its the only one in America that I have seen closed off. Thats a managers lazy choice. When I have heavy items I go across the street to Loews because their loading zone is open. You cant tell me that Im the only one. They have to be losing business for this.

Worst customer service in a very long time. Went to purchase a stove that was stickered as on sale for 1300$. When I inquired with associate, I was told it would be regular cost of 2000$ because she couldn't take a 700 hit on the price that was still posted on item.
