I experienced a devastating loss of my sister and mother. With the help of Mr. FLAGG and his family and staff, i was fortunate to honor the wishes of my sister and mother. I can not express my gratitude for the loving care and compassion they have shown me at this extremely difficult time. This is the hardest pain I have ever had to endure. I am truly grateful for Flagg Memorial for helping me with this transition and being able to care for my loved ones. Sadly my mom passed sway. But I had many blessings in Palaka and one of them was Carol. She was so helpful in getting the arrangements done for me. Carol even went above and beyond. Knowing that we were from out of town and struggling to get Ubers to travel to her,she’d make arrangements to meet us. Carol,(if you’re reading this) I am grateful and thankful to have met you. I hope I expressed that to you in person and you felt my appreciation 🙏🏻❤️

Flagg Serenity Memorial Chapel is a Christian base funeral home who serve people with dignity and excellence. The recent passing of my husband left me drained and sad but all that was taken away from me as the management and staff treated me so royally as they cared for my every need. Everything was done as I specified which gave me time to grieve as I spent time with the Lord.
To the management and Staff my family and I would like to thank you for all the love and support you showed us during our time of grief.
May God continue to bless and use you in support of His people. Blessings.

Ruth Bryson Jones: What can I say about Mr. Flagg & his staff. Lets start with the two men that came to pick up my mom from her home. There professionalism is 2nd to none. They did not rush the process. They let us take our time to love on our mom before taking her away.
Once we got to the Serenity we was greeted by an wonderful lady as soon as we walked in. She was that calm nice voice we needed to hear during such an hard time.
We then met with Mr. Flagg and one of his beautiful daughters Mrs. Karla Flagg-Wright. Yes this was an business transaction but it sure did not feel like it. They let us laugh, they let us cry. We was not rushed in any way.
Mr. Flagg pride himself on Professionalism & Confidentiality. Simply put if you not at the planning table, no one will know what was talked about, how much it cost, and who and how it was paid for.
Mr. Flagg other beautiful daughter Kandyce Flagg was hands on with me when it came to doing the programs and all the fine detail stuff.
No one really wants to transition from this life but since we all must at some point let that transition go through Mr. Flagg Serenity Memorial. They did my brother, they did my mom. I want them to do me when my time comes.

As soon as it became necessary to arrange for my husband Dr. Jack Dixon’s service, the staff at Flagg-Serenity stepped in with the utmost care, concern and professionalism. Every detail was handled with the understanding that the time was extremely emotional for family members. I felt supported through each challenging decision. Each of the requests that I felt important to honor my husband's memory was addressed and fulfilled. I cannot thank Funeral Director Carol Love-Coffie Coffey for her compassionate guidance and the Flagg family for outstanding service and steadfast support through the entire process.

The service rendered for our loved one was nothing short of amazing!! Our situation was unique, so the before, during, and even the aftercare and concern for our family was and has continued to be tremendously appreciated!! The guidance and understanding we received made the process a lot less stressful. The services offered from the first call throughout the burial of our family member was very compassionate and professional. Karl Flagg and his staff keep our family together in prayer and understanding when we were at our most vulnerable and as a family this was truly blessing.

Flagg-Serenity provided the highest level of comfort, compassion and professional service for the home going celebration of our Mother Theodosia Purifoy. Funeral Directors Karl Flagg, Karla Flagg and staff graciously wrapped their arms around us and patiently guided us in fulfilling our Mother’s last wishes. We will never forget the love of Christ that we tangibly felt from Flagg-Serenity during our time of mourning. It was our Mother’s desire for Flagg-Serenity to handle her home going services. We are grateful and well pleased with every aspect of service provided. We could not have been more blessed.
I highly recommend Flagg-Serenity to come alongside your family in fulfilling your funeral or memorial services needs. You will not be disappointed.

Karl first lied to me telling me my mom couldn't have an autopsy because she was a psych patient, said it was Florida law. Found out that isn't true! Then he proceeded to ask my siblings and I if we ever had to deal with death burial before. When we told him no, he proceeded to charge us 1,500 to get our mother cremated! Come to find out everywhere else is between 900 and 950! My step mother just got cremated somewhere else for 950! Shame on you guys for taking advantage of people. Karma....
P.S. they also did NOT give us time to say our goodbyes without making us feel EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE, Karl Flagg stood by my mother's feet the entire time watching us, making it uncomfortable just to say goodbye to her. Couldn't even give a minute to ourselves to mourn out mother! I would give them no stars if it was an option! Oh and then the worst part is they harassed my family for leaving this review!!!! Which is why I added to it!!!!
