I brought my bearded dragon rescue in a few months ago for a checkup. Our first appointment with Ark and Bark was at 8:30pm, but we weren't seen for over an hour. About two weeks ago, I called during their operating hours a few times with no answer, so I left a voicemail. A few days later, I got a call back and the person on the other end was very rude. I told them her poop was pink, so they told me to bring in a fecal sample. I brought one in, and when they called me back they said "no parasites!" so I asked about the pink poop, and she said "it's pink?" which told me that they didn't even look at it. I asked for Dr. Butler to call me back after she looked at it again, and all the receptionist said when she called back was "well, its definitely pink".
I really tried to give this clinic a chance, but oh my goodness. I really refrain from negative reviews, but unfortunately our experience was just too much.
*Edit - After going to another vet yesterday, we have also learned that almost everything that Dr. Butler told us was incorrect. It appears that she had little to no knowledge of exotics. It was as if she was making things up as she went, which is unacceptable.
*Final edit - We have now confirmed that when Dr. Butler's office told us that her stool was clear of pinworms, that was not true. This now confirms that they have lied to us both times. Do not bring your animals here.

Took my Ollie here finally. Love the evening hours. More importantly, love the staff and the vet. So many offices have become big business. Not these guys! Great service provided without having to throw my wallet in first. Will be taking Destiny when she is due next year.

Dr. Butler miss diagnosed my puppy’s xray as “hip dysplasia & arthritis”???At that time my puppy was 5 months old! I went to Dr. Jeff Christiansen Orthopedic Vet in Rockledge. He took one look at the xray and said “ it’s NOT hip dysplasia, but a broken/fractured hip”!!!??? because I waited too long the bone was dying because of no oxygen and blood flow NOT arthritis ?Her FEMA head and the neck had to be removed. $5,000! If we knew much sooner it could’ve been fixed. Very incompetent diagnosis with 40+ years experience?♀️

We needed to use this office as our vet was closed to have our precious Jack euthanized. We were met with calm and caring courtesy and professionalism by all staff. We were given the time needed for our finally good bye and were assured he would be well cared for. I picked him up and they were all so very kind once again. The care Jack received will not be forgotten. Thank you all once again.

Ark & Bark's hours are not the norm, but neither are they. Their hours are from 5:00 PM to midnight "for people who work". I'm so thankful for that.
Their name says it all. The Ark part meant to me that Dr. Debbie Butler would be able to help me with my scaled baby. After my near panicked call, they were able to squeeze me in that evening. Dr. Butler was very thorough with her examination and instructions for home. Reptiles take a long time to do anything, so his recovery is slow going, but it is going.
