This store is complete a scam ,went in for a new phone because my current phone died, store clerk scammed me and insisted on selling phone case and tempered glass for additional $70, when I said I don't need extra accessories , they refused the sale of the device, I said I don't want accessories installed, , store associate screamed at me and said I can't give you the phone like that, and she forced install accessories without my permission, which is considered illegal and violation of personal property. Called store manager and he was part of the scam, because the phone was on sale and they tried to gouge the price up by selling unnecessary and pricey accessories, reported them to MetroPCS and will report to attorney general for price gouging.

This is not about MetroPCS brand but for the persons responsible for training at this particular store. And the manager that has let this type of atmosphere in the store linger for what seems to be a decade
As a former employee of a physical MetroPCS (not this one), I know that as an employee, I cannot be sitting down when there are customers inside the store or coming in, playing music loud and eating food on the counter. Moreover, I have to inform the customer--properly and truthfully--of the features of the device, the costs and if the customer is skeptical, inform of any alternatives.
Your employees for the past 7-8 years, do none of the above but greet people with a smile. Remember, sometimes the devil shows up with a smile.
Yesterday on January 16th, of 2025, I met a smiling devil.
When I went into the store, I asked for a new line and a new device--a Moto G Stylus preferably--and more importantly, I asked for the price.
Valerie (I may have the wrong name, but I sure remember her daughter's name Sahira tattoo on her left arm between the wrist and knuckles) got on her computer and calculated that it (referencing the device) would come out to 255USD.
Being a MetroPCS customer (and former employee), I asked her, isn't the device discounted or free with a new line? Valerie said no and that things have changed.
I felt that the price was too much, and I let her know. She let me (a potential buyer) walk out without offering any alternatives.
I went across the street to Verizon but then remember there are contracts to be signed with Verizon and so I went back to MetroPCS and bought the phone feeling depressed about the cost.
When I got back home and look at the receipt, the phone was discounted and came out to 19.99USD + Tax. According to the receipt, you pay with a new line a discounted phone, the price of the plan, and the price of the SIM (15usd). All together it should have been less than 100USD.
How did it get to 255USD? Remember when I told you she calculated on her computer? She premeditated and sneaks into the shopping bag (did not inform me of the costs of the items or what it is I am paying for) a 40USD wall charger (the device comes with a charging cable or maybe she took out wall piece out of the box to justify for the wall charger, I don't know), a screen protector (30USD), a case (40USD) and got me on a 105USD plan. None of which I was informed.
I walked from my house (because my differential in the car gave up) near Jupiter Blvd & Malabar Rd and it took me 45 minutes to get there. And another 45 minutes to get back home. I accumulated the same distance I do on average as a delivery driver for Amazon. 20,000+ steps. My feet hurt when I got to the store, imagine when I got home. And you know what I see walking to the store? I see other walkers on Malabar Rd. We're all struggling paycheck to paycheck, illnesses, PTSD and so on. One of the people walking, a veteran, I bumped into at the same store same day. He got there first because he was on a tricycle. You can put two and two together....
If you read all these 4-star ratings, about how nice they are.... I'm sorry but these folks there are light years away from being professional. All you have to do is approach the window and look inside. See their body language? It is of those who do not inform themselves. And if they don't--well--they are not really looking on behalf of your best interest--are they? Even when they're smiling and making you feel great.
Valerie did to me one of two things. A) Misinform me or B) Take advantage of me.

I would highly recommend this Metro Pcs. Great customer service Great Staff. Recently I had some issues and called customer service Sadly they weren’t much help so i proceeded to call the store and had a young lady by the name of Niesia help me well I must say her customer service skills were amazing very pleasant very attentive patient she definitely is very knowledgeable was helpfully to me and resolved my situation quickly I’m very much grateful to her for her assistance Great Job. Thank you.

By far the BEST location! Manager is the sweetest, so patient and very knowledgeable. She has a good team . These ladies are all incredibly helpful to my wife and I . I always feel welcomed greeted with big beautiful smiles . Happy you guys are there !

Jazzy help me she is very friendly and awesome at her job. She has a lot of experience at her job. She help me it everything I needed and won't with no problems.
