Gracious and understanding would be an understatement in regards to the staff here. Unfortunately, I had to put my dog down the week of Thanksgiving. I was a mess.Thank you for the kindness you showed during an awful time. They even sent out a condolence card a few weeks later. Made a hard situation just a little easier.

Let me start by saying for two years I've loved this VCA till this past week. We took our dog that has survived neglect, abuse and a run in with a dump truck that she not only survived but is thriving. My spouse brought her in for her annual visit and vaccinations. She was told by the dr to muzzle her which is insane because she wouldn't hurt a fly, but she did it. She was very scared it seemed of my dog even though she showed no signs of aggression she was just very nervous and clinging to my wife. Her energy just made things worse. Then we said she needs her nails trimmed. She gets her nails done there regularly. She refused saying she would need this medication that cost over $100 first. We pay $60 for Careclub for both our dogs that includes nail trims. Now I'm taking her to my groomer who will be doing it moving forward. The dr we usually see wasn't available and now I have such a bad taste in my mouth, I'll be looking for a new vet. Sad, the staff here is wonderful. One bad apple....

Needed an emergency visit for our youngest cat. They told us bring him in as soon as we could. They accommodated us, vet tech came in, veterinarian saw us quickly and they explained in detail and showed us results. In our opinion, FANTASTIC STAFF!!! AWESOME DOC'S AND THEY CARE!!! We highly recommend this place for anyone to bring their loved pets!!!☺️?☺️

I recently visited VCA Village Animal Hospital with my cats, Jack and Sally, and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of care and professionalism displayed by the entire team. The clinic itself was impeccably clean, creating a welcoming and safe environment for both pets and their owners. The staff at the clinic were exceptionally friendly and helpful, demonstrating genuine care and concern for my cats’ well-being. Dr. Redmond, in particular, stood out with her extensive knowledge and compassionate approach. She was very kind and took the time to explain her treatment plans and lab results in detail, ensuring that I was fully informed and comfortable with the care being provided. One aspect that particularly struck me was their handling of my cat Jack, who tends to be aggressive with veterinary staff. The team handled him beautifully, showing great skill and patience, which helped alleviate my nervousness. The trust I have in this clinic’s staff is immense. It’s evident that they deeply care about animals and are committed to their well-being. The reasonable pricing is an added bonus, and the fact that they accept Care Credit makes their services more accessible.I am delighted to have established a relationship with a vet clinic that I can trust. For anyone seeking a trustworthy, caring, and professional veterinary service, I highly recommend VCA Village Animal Hospital

Caring, knowledgeable, kind vets.know their stuff, care not just about your dog as a patient but thinking of other patients .if they know you pup is sick they asked you to call before you come in ..this makes me feel comfortable that they won't cross contaminate and spread sickness to other pups.clean rooms, quick shots, well visits. Have care plan for dogs that you can pay less monthly and safe money for well visits .

On 5/27/23 My old Veterinarian from the other place was on vacation and I went to VCA for help. My dog was not sick or old.. Only 3 years old. She had ONE STITCHES LOOSE problem after being fixed from surgery. VCA gave no hope to try to save my beloved dog's life and my dog was put to sleep. A TERRIBLE CHOICE. I'm so SORRY I didn't wait for my old veterinarian to get back from her vacation. Now I've been heartbroken since.

Had an emergency with my cat “Smokey” I called to see if they could squeeze him in, even though it was almost 6p.m. They stated they couldn’t and referred me to a local emergency clinic, while en route to the emergency clinic the vet tech called me back, she had actually saved my number and talked to the vet and asked if we were close and could bring him in! They went above and beyond for my kitty, they even stayed after hours caring for him that night, to the point the vet said “I really do have to send my staff home”. They did absolutely everything a caring vet staff could do, beyond what would be normally expected of them; and I’m happy to say thanks to their efforts my kitty was brought back from the brink and is loving his second shot at life! Thank you, Dr. Peterson and all the techs that helped Smokey.

I tried getting in touch with someone regarding my pet and instead got hung up on by the receptionist. She had a disgusting attitude once I called back. I do not recommend anyone bring their pet here. If this is how the front desk treats people I can’t imagine what they do to animals.

There's a lot not to like - unfortunately.....brought my cat in for a simple bump in the head, almost pimple like, which I knew would probably need to be cut out. Instead, even though they said my 4 yr olds teeth looked ok, they started pushing dental stuff and the original 500 estimate became 2200-2700. Also they RXd an ear solution, which I bought for 48 dollars. Looked it up and same thing available at walmart for 11.99. Sadly going back to my old vet - this is obviously a money making only outfit that tries to squeeze you....I think it is important to reemphasize - they said my cat's teeth were fine - it was one of those - while she is under for the pimple removal......and they wanted to add 1700 worth of stuff - including xrays, (280), dental eval (200), dental fluids (125), dental anesthesia (206) - when my cat has no dental issues. Sorry - you can do a lot better, for a lot less - to me, it is a matter of trust and they failed

Relocated from Orlando and after a faithful 7+ years at our previous vet in ORL, I was nervous about the transition to this new location. I left this place absolutely confident that I made the right choice in coming here.Everyone was friendly, the Dr and tech were amazing and my cat was the calmest he's ever been in his 14 years of vet visits. While still at the vet, I received a call from the pharmacy confirming my cat's prescription. I was impressed that the prescription was already sent and I was still in the room with procedures still in process. I always had difficulty with prescription/refills being confirmed under our prior location (1-3 days delayed). The waiting room and lobby looked really clean and they thoroughly communicated everything with me.This VCA didn't push any procedures on us that weren't needed and they carefuñly considered my cat's temperament for our treatment plan and scheduling. I walked out of there feeling relieved and overly pleased to have observed such a caring staff. To say the least, I think we are in love lol.Big shout out and thank you to the team here!Sincerely,Wishes and his mom

Today (4/15/23) our elderly cat Jack started to get worse. He’s been failing for a few months now. I called several vets and the emergency vet. Anyone who would see him couldn’t do it until next week. The emergency vet was so out of our price range. I called VCA and spoke to Maddie (I think!) and she was the absolute best. She worked with us on getting him seen today and spoke to the vet (I’m sorry I don’t know her name!) about fitting Jack in today. My husband brought Jack in to be seen and have him put him to sleep. He came home and said everyone was very sweet and compassionate and showed empathy in this horrible time for us. I just want to thank you guys for going above and beyond for us today and showing that empathy and sympathy for us and our 16 year old Jack. I really appreciate everything that was done for us today and I don’t think I said it when we got off the phone.

My first time in at this location and not under the ideal circumstances. I am as happy as I can be with their euthanasia options. The staff was great and very professional, I was able to have the time I needed before saying goodbye. As hard as it can be, the staff was considerate and even brought in a little snack for my Senior Labrador before proceeding, that says a lot. Thank you VCA Village for your compassion and support, much appreciated ?.

We had to put down my Grandmother's dog a few weeks ago and the staff was absolutely wonderful. They handled us and our fur baby with such gentleness and care. Thank you guys for helping our special one cross over and thank you for your consolation.
