Leaving a one start would be too much with what I had to experience, this is my local CVS 4465 Northlake Blvd, Palm beach Gardens, that I go to on a daily and for my medications. Feeling awful I go in with my husband on 2/13/2025 to pick up a few things. I got in the self-check-out line to pay my belongings. I picked the self-check-out that was for credit card only since the cash one was down, however after I scanned everything, I realized that I left my new card home and took the old one, so I requested for assistance to cancel the transaction so I can move to the line with a cashier. The customer service retail assistant name Crystal or Krystal came over with an attitude, scanned her badge, as I apologized for the inconvenience. in the middle of my apology, she turned around to the couple behind us and said the following, "You can go next, make sure you read the sign unlike others", I took offense and felt so discriminated against because it wasn't that I couldn't read or didn't read. I engaged saying "You didn't have to say that smart remark because it was that I left my new card home". She said, "If you don't like you can leave and don't have to shop here anymore". I fired right back with, "No you don't have to work here if you lack morals and customer service skills because working at a pharmacy were so many different people walk in with different needs and disability you would know that your behavior is not fitting to you job position". "Some wonderful customer service skills CVS hired for their community in there most time of need". I finally reach the counter to pay for my stuff, I ask the Shift Supervisor (unknown name), "Is that how you let your employees talk to your customers"? She asked me to explain what was fully said and I did. She requested for me to speak to the night Manager Mario. Mario came over to me and walked outside with me and my husband so we can talk. As soon as I told he the issue he immediately said, "This is discrimination and I am so sorry, I will make sure to handle it myself". I told him, "Please do, because employees like that can face lawsuits and have the store sue because of their actions". He reassured me that he was going to take care of the situation and fire her. Of course, like I said before this is my CVS, I have been going there for 10 years. So, I decided to go last night and 2/14/2025 to pick up some bathroom paper. For sure enough Crystal or Kyrstal was trying to hide behind another employee so that I wouldn't see her. I would have left this situation alone however I was lied to and discriminated against, and people need to learn what happens when they treat people like this. What if I had a disability, injury to my eyes, or really couldn't read. Who gives her the right to treat someone like that. I wish that the manager Mario really would have done his part unfortunately he failed me and his community by allowing this employee to continue working, to continue to verbal discriminated their customers.

Okay so I hate this a 2 star. But recently cvs no longer will take incoming calls from patients/customers. You have to leave a message that claims you will get a call back. But they never do. However after waiting a couple of days after leaving the message and trying the automated service. I’ve been forced to call in on the doctor/provider line. However i do explain why I used this line and they help me. Well today a young lady if u will. Before I could explain I had left message and couldn’t get the automated service to work for me she said i was wasting her time and I’m blocking doctors from calling in and proceeded to hang up on me. I tried explaining that I tried leaving a message and got no call back. but she had already hung up on me That’s a bold face lie. They have several phone lines for providers. So I called back asked fir the pharmacist she put me back onto the pharmacy line for patients to leave a message which I had already done for days. So I called again and got a man named justice I quickly explained why I called this line and apologized but really needed info on s certain med that only a pharmacist they could answer or order for me. The male pharmacist was named Justice, he was prompt and efficient and nice and Informative. I Informed Justice of his coming workers behavior towards me and didn’t reply. I’ve had the same great experiences with another male pharmacist named Tyler who also is always efficient and patient, caring. So is a woman named Jackie very nice and efficient Also. I just wish all of their employees in the pharmacy were as understanding. The young lady who hung up on me without even asking if this was an emergency. She needs to attend a customer service class. I’m really thinking of changing pharmacies. You should be able to reach your pharmacy at any time not wait days for a call back that’s just poor customer service

Gotta love reviews where the reviewer is clearly the entitled person with unrealistic expectations. Is customer service lacking here- yea a bit but should you blame these employees? There is typically only one there working up front when I have been in, and with the self scans broken or malfunctioning every other customer- that one person is expected to be in 2 places at once. They have people there stocking during the day, but let's not assume they even know how to run a register, or have cleared a background check to handle cash. Maybe they haven't so we can't just assume the stock people should be running up to help you. As far as people complaining about workers' attitudes, I certainly can't blame them for being a little ornery for having to work in those conditions, they have been verbally abused by customers since covid started, I'm guessing forced to work more hours than they should because of Covid related understaffing that keeps persisting because corporate entities like this refuse to pay livable wages, cut benefits, and also like who wants a shitty low paid job working a register here if all the customers are going to be entitled jerks and completely lack patience? Not me that's for sure. But my actual experience is workers are friendly enough. No one has ever been outright rude to me or ignored me when the self scanner freezes up- which it does EVERY time lol. They offer help when it's clear they are needed. I however don't expect to be greeted or offered help out of the blue or just for walking through the door- I don't need nor want to interact with anyone if I can help it, it's just unnecessary and annoying. Now the pharmacy itself: prescription meds are a huge issue with all pharmacies in Florida- I've had issues at multiple ones, across all chains and supermarket pharmacies. I kid you not, I've had issues at every one in a 20 mile radius, and I believe it's a State regulation or bigger corporate issue. From what I've been able to learn every pharmacy can only order certain brands- or from certain labs or manufacturers. those brands are always unavailable, limited stock and sold out since they are the only ones they are allowed to order from... and what they can get is NEVER the brand that a goodRX coupon covers. It's infuriating. I'm sure the people working here are truly sick of hearing these complaints over something they have zero control over. I've asked around, and most Pharmacies apparently have no choice from which lab a medicine comes from, but what lab it comes from will greatly effect the customers price too. Only Florida seems to have this BS. Like the state made deals with certain manufacturers to only sell that brand here. At least this is what I suspect- as that's what happens when you let republicans get control. It mucks up the whole system. Otherwise, this place is a cvs like every other. They have all the things a typical cvs does. The prices are twice as much as Walmart - like every convenience store. They have a huge selection of greeting cards, more candy choices than you could want, all the last minute stuff you forgot to pack for your trip to the beach, and actually some decently priced deals on alcohol- beer/wine and some premixed canned cocktails. They will likely have the odd vitamin supplement your looking for, all the first aid stuff you might need, and a huge selection of cheap makeup that will get you through if you ran out of your Lancôme foundation and just can't get to the gardens mall. Will they be helpful and answer your medical questions and listen to you describe all your symptoms, & sit with you to figure out what OTC med you need- or will they recommend which shade of blush is best for your skin tone? no that's not their job, nor should it be.

I always go to this cvs because is closer to me. Today I went to pick up my prescription. Lucky me the pharmacist was extremely rude. First, I had to spell my name 5 times for her and she was not getting it, then she kept on telling me I had no refills left on my prescription. I tried explaining her that the doctor had sent 10 refills just recently. Then she said 2 different doctors had sent the prescription in the past. One doctor didn't send refills and the second doctor sent 10 refills. Then she ask which one she should refill. I think the answer is obviously the one that has refills left. This lady played me back and forth and tried to argue with me. She also said "you should have called" I said I tried but you guys never answer the phones. She started complaining about being short staff. I see how desperate the company most be to hire people. They hired a very rude lady that is passed due for retirement.

I called the pharmacy to order my prescription,I can not use the app because my prescription just transfer to them from Walmart. I have been on hold for 15 minutes, and then some picked up and said PLEASE HOLD!! Without even wait for my respond and put the phone back on hold again. I was on hold another 12 minutes and then someone picked up and immidiately hanged up!!! Very disappointed. They need to take some customer service classes????

The prescription is wrong no matter what, always a different price, never ready when they state that it will be, nothing is communicated to the patient, and they have a beyond rude incompetent staff with a horrible attitude. Kisha was the name of one of the pharmacists that refused to help or explain why the price had doubled 4 times.

New younger, Caucasian man servicing pharmacy counter. (Race will be important later.) This employee doesn't greet you, just looks at you. If you stay silent as well, he says 'last name?' He also decided, when It was my turn, as I (Black woman) stepped up to the counter, that it was fine to walk away - and not say, "just a moment" or "I will be right with you. He simply left to help a seated white customer to the left of the line - who it turns out did not need assistance. The customer said I'm just waiting after my vaccine. Then the employee returns to my counter and just looks at me with no greeting. Strange,no? So, ultimately, I was able to get my prescription, but this guy is either very new, very bad at customer service or very prejudiced. I won't detail how he continued this stunted approach throughout our entire interaction. I had to see him twice; second time was equally awkward. I was the one saying the usual pleasantries hoping he would snap out of his funk or maybe newness. Don't they give people any training at all? I feel bad he came off that way if he isn't prejudiced. Either way, I will not be back.

Terrible customer service. We’ve used this pharmacy for a while now because it’s close to our house but, I’m done. They take forever to fill scripts. One lady flat out lied to my wife. I’ve waited while the employees joke around with each other. No one seems to care. They once failed to order a script repeatedly, when I brought it up the lady on the phone told me “too bad”. Ha! You’re right lady, too bad! I won’t buy anything from this location now. There’s a store on the same street where shopping is a pleasure. P.S. This was going on before the pandemic hit.
