There is one older manager who is just VERY rude. I bought markers and realized they were bullet, not brush and wanted to return them. They gave me a very hard time. Said I should have realized that. Super toxic lady. She rudely said they were clearance and couldn't be returned, but nowhere on the display did it say no return. Really want to like this store...but two stars instead of 1 because the younger manager lady is very nice at least.

I went during the week around 5:30 p.m. it was not busy at that time. I was able to get around the store quickly and find the things I needed. I always find. It's a great store

I tried returning a few items that I purchased at another location on Okeechobee when speaking with corporate their policy included a receipt investigation and/or showing proof of your Drivers License. Corporate provided me with a case number 07089887. Joseph DeCarlo "Joe" never looked at my Drivers License and in a sense I do feel stereotyped. As a professional and a decent human being I can say that Michaels will never receive a dime from me again. I hosted and decorated 2 events in October and stopped to Michaels to purchase last minute items, I did use the majority of the items and "Assumed" that I could return what was unused. I was denied a receipt investigation and Joseph DeCarlo "Joe" never even attempted to take my Drivers License. Everyone isn't the same, however this was a horrible experience. I hope we both can learn from this. "Joe" violated Michaels policy and somehow obtained the power to deny someone who provided this establishment with business. This was the first and the last time that I'll ever come to this stores location, being that it was convenient and near where I work, I decided to go during my lunch hour to save some time and to bypass traffic. The City of Delray Beach was much more welcoming to receive my business as well as the Okeechobee location. I won't generalize the stores performance as a whole but this experience has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth for Michaels. P.S I will forever be a Hobby Lobby member.

Michaels hasn’t been a great store in a long time but it was decent enough to visit if the need arose. Last time there was definitely my last time there. The staff at this location was unbearable to deal with. I had a simple return because they gave me the wrong item in my pickup order and wouldn’t take it back at the price I paid because I didn’t have a receipt for it. How could I have a receipt for it if it’s not the item I ordered? It was beyond comprehension. I called corporate to fill them in on the 30 minute terrible ordeal at the location and they said soooo would you like me to fill out a report? At that point, no. Clearly the incompetence was at the corporate level also. Terrible, company with incompetent staff.

12/1/23-Terrible customer service. Went to check out and none of the sales were ringing up properly according to the signage, and showed the cashier the photos we took of each sign indicating the mark downs. She called over Pam who I presume was a manager who proceeded to first tell me “you’re gonna have to repeat all that because you talk too fast” and that the signs were all incorrect (what are the odds that the store has incorrect signage posted throughout the entire store lol). Then proceeded to tell us that the signage was for a future date despite each sign we showed her had a date of 11/29-12/9 or 11/17-12/2. We decided not to purchase anything and will be shopping elsewhere

I went to this store for the first time, and bought about $300. Of supplies. Wanted to apply for the credit card , and the gal said I couldn't get the discount until the following time.,I will not go back!! Great to advertise a discount another thing to get it. Very much a scam!!!!

I went into Michael’s to purchase a sewing machine this evening. The cashier, Lyric, was very kind and professional. Although, he had forgotten to remove the security tag, when I turned back to have it removed, he asked another employee for assistance. The other employee was struggling with the removal of the security tag, but I was really impressed with his willingness to help her with the removal. I later called the store to get his name, to write a review, and spoke with his manager to learn that Lyric is a new employee.My review is to say… “you did a great job Lyric, Keep up the good work! You are very kind and professional, loved the way you really wanted to help your co-worker. You nailed it!”

Beautiful, clean store. Staff was sparse but it was easy to find things around the store. Plenty of parking within the shopping center. It is a bit of a maze to get through the shopping plaza.

Went to check out, and the two employees that were there completely ignored my husband and I. We waited at the checkout for a minute or two but when neither employee would bother to even look up from their phone to greet us, we went to the self checkout and proceeded to ring up the items we wanted. Even after paying and walking out the door, neither looked up from their phones. Horrible customer service. Why bother to pay them when all they do is mess with their phones. Erk.
