I’m a LONG time client and when they moved to 20 minutes from my house I considered changing to a local salon. But Angie and I work well together. (She tells me the way it’s gonna be and it’s always perfect and I get LOTS of compliments.) Dennis (owner) runs a tight ship with Angie and his management team. Reasonably priced too.

This salon is too much for the poor quality work they do. I went to get a basic haircut (after 2 years) and we agreed to cut off 6 inches. no layering, no nothing-very minimal. easy, right? my hair is curly and was drying during the cut. a few days later I saw how unevenely cut it was. I went back and they made it even no problem, but overall cut is not that great. I will never come back

I have been coming here for 20 years. It feels like friends. I've never had a bad experience. Angie is great, but if I needed a quick appointment I have seen Monica. Juliette or Marjorie. They are all well trained in color specialties.

I searched for almost a year and a half with no luck after my long-time hair stylist retired. Then I found Danielle at Pizzaz and what an amazing gem she is! Danielle is so sweet and cuts my hair to perfection. I get so many compliments from friends, family, and even strangers. Whether I wear it blown dry or curled it always falls right into place. That is the sign of a great cut!

I just had a blowout the worst one i have ever had in my life- this was not a professional hair blower - he did not use a brush to pull straight and get out waves and frizz- it is awful - I made the appointment and was given a woman - do not know where this loser -African American male about 62 came from! If they try to push him on you do not accept. Came home and blew out my own hair- I told him he was awful and would never use him again.

Horrible experience!! The stylist assured me she could stack, she could not. I had to go across the street to Kevin James Salon for them to fix my haircut. I needed another 3" off to somewhat even it out. They described it as 'butchered'. Pizzazz refused to refund my money saying that they do not guarantee their work. Save your hair, heartache and money by going somewhere else. I highly recommend Mike at Kevin James Salon.

This was single-handedly the worst hair cut I have EVER received. I asked for hair at my collarbone with very very long layers so it was not a blunt cut. I sat and sobbed for hours today after leaving the salon and will have to wear my hair up for months while it grows out. Supposedly her name was Denean. If i could give -10 stars I would. When i went back in to talk to them about it, she said that was exactly how "they" do it for long layers. i even re dried it and curled it to try and make it blend. DO NOT COME HERE.

I'll start by saying I never write bad reviews and I've never had a bad haircut until today. I used to go to the Pizzazz in West Palm Beach and I really liked them so I decided to try the one in Gardens. I asked for the same haircut I already had (middle part, curtain bangs, long layers) but just an inch shorter to clean it up. She asked if I wanted angles and I said yes thinking she meant the long framing parts of my hair, not the curtain bangs, because that was not the haircut I had before. So she cuts my hair and it's the fastest hair cut I've ever had in a salon, even a super cuts. I remember thinking either she's just that good or this is going to be pretty bad. Probably 15 minutes from wash to blow dry, which by the way I told her I didn't want but she insisted on doing it anyway to show me. I think that's because she realized she did it way too short and wanted to see if I would be ok with it. She also asked me what side I part my hair when I came in with a middle part and said middle part in the beginning, which suggests she wasn't listening when she asked what I wanted. As soon as she turned me around, I was shocked. She clearly chopped off at least three inches from the end of my hair and my bangs look atrocious. They're way too short and she angled those instead of the framing pieces around my face. She had showed me where I wanted my bangs but then she cut them way shorter than we talked about, and tried to tell me that they're shorter because now they're dry. Of course they are, I've had bangs all my life, I know how haircuts work. But these are so much shorter than they should have been. I look like a puppy dog or a 12 year old and now I have to go to work with my hair in a bun and headband until they grow out. That's how bad it is. I normally don't ever say anything if something bothers me (it's hair; it'll grow out) but this was beyond bad. The absolute worst part wasn't even the hair cut it was the reaction when I said it was way too short. We must have gone back and forth for five minutes of me saying I didn't like it and she cut it too short and her just continuing to repeating she did what I asked for (she did not) and just kept saying oh look see the angles see the angles look look look and arguing with me as though if she just kept saying the same thing I'd eventually be ok with it. Maybe I'll go back to the one in West Palm but I'm never going back there. By the way, I was not complaining to try to get anything for free or any kind of discount. I genuinely did not like it and if she could magically put my hair that's the solution I would have asked for. I'm writing this review kind of as a warning but also I hope Pizzazz sees this and has a conversation about how they communicate with a customer to make sure everyone understands what's being asked for. I did not include her name because I'm not looking to get anyone in trouble, I just got a really really bad haircut and then she tried to convince me to like it. Editing it to include that the moment that I came home my roommate asked what happened to my hair and pointed out that it's super uneven which I didn't even notice at first. And also to add pictures.

When I walked into the salon I had the impression that the stylists here were all high end - hence the high end prices. Though the price quoted to me on the phone was more than what I normally pay for a shampoo and set, I was willing to take a chance and see what Nancy would do for me. What a DISAPPOINTMENT!! First of all, all she did was put rollers in my hair but did no styling whatsoever. I asked her to do something, anything - nothing. Then, she sprayed my hair so that when I left the salon, I walked out with loose, greasy curls. Her job looked very amateurish and she did it with no caring. I would NEVER go back and certainly would NOT recommend them to anyone. Furthermore, she charged me MORE than what was quoted to me on the phone. I had to consider this experience as a charity donation because it was so not worth the money I spent.
