I recently had the unfortunate experience of shopping At Zaks Fith in the bags department and interacting with Jill, a saleslady who left much to be desired in terms of customer service. From the moment I approached her for assistance, it was clear that she was not in the mood to help.
Jill's demeanor was dismissive, and her attitude suggested that my inquiries were an inconvenience to her. This lack of engagement made it difficult to feel valued as a shopper.
Overall, my experience with Jill was disappointing. In a retail environment, customer service is crucial, and unfortunately, Jill's attitude and unwillingness to assist left a negative impression. I hope that future interactions in the bags department can be more positive and welcoming.

I really enjoy going to this place. The place is so nicely decorated, they have good things such as high quality clothes, fragrances, ext. The workers are all very kind and welcoming. Except, Itza…. I feel like not visiting because of how badly i am treated when i go here. I get disgusted looks, ignorance, getting talked badly about right in my face, and i almost got security called on me for smelling fragrances. Which is usually not a problem with other workers. I do not enjoy this because i feel very disrespected and hurt. Saks please fire this lady!

Amazing selection for women’s apparel and fragrance, although I often have to shop around without being greeted before I get help on the women’s floor. A few times I have had my hands full before being approached.
The sales on apparel are better here than anywhere I have ever shopped so I definitely recommend.
Best service I have received thus far is Joyce in fragrance (very nice and personable), and rosemary in apparel (fastest greeting and assistance I have gotten, checked on me in the fitting room to adjust size)

July 28th
I went in to begin the process of looking for a Mother of the Bride dress. I walked in and asked where the gowns were. The girl at one of the counters who was scrolling through her phone barely acknowledged us and said “in the back to the right”. That’s it!
In the market for a beautiful high priced dress. I felt like I get better service at a big box store!
Point is, you never know when someone is there to drop a couple grand on a dress or something else!
Get off the phones and act like sales people folks!
We left and I won’t be back. I’d rather fly out of town to get some personalize service.

Purchased a jacket and paid for expedited tailoring services. I was reassured the jacket would be ready on time. On the day i was due to pick it up, i called early to make sure the jacket would be ready, but the store was busy and I was told they would call me back with an update. Hours later I had to call back only to find out the jacket would not be ready. I've been trying to get a refund now for over a month and a half. Now i'll have to drive 2.5 hrs to this place to visit the store in person to try and get this resolved.

Great products but I won’t be back. I WISH I got the woman’s name but I could tell I was profiled based on how I look…she saw me and made it a point to keep her attention on everyone but me.
Never assume what someone is going to spend or what they have based on how they look, I was there to pick up either Bond #9 or Creed Aventus but made it a point to leave empty handed based on how I was treated..if I was a manager I would remind the sales associates to leave their prejudices at home.

Spoiler: rating has EVERYTHING to do with employee interaction. My fiance recently shopped at this Saks in the mall downstairs in the mends department (obviously). He hadn’t mentioned me to me any issues with his visit after he had gotten a very clean cut haircut. One this day he purchased a $700 “promotional” gift card and gave it to me when he came home.Of course I go in today with his sister and decided to see if they had anything I liked since I usually don’t shop there (if I go to that mall it’s really only to go to LV or the Gucci directly outside of the second story entrance). I read the gift card it very specifically says “promotional gift card” on it. Considering I don’t usually shop there I read the card ahead of time to which is had many restrictions (entirely fine, just wanted to make sure I knew what area I could and couldn’t use it in) since I don’t usually shop here let alone use random cards I’m not familiar with and would always rather avoiding an awkward interaction).Upon entering the second story entrance just outside of Gucci, we walked up to look at a dress and I go oh let me ask someone about this card before I start because it did have many restrictions printed on it.Whoever the taller blonde just all around snooty lady that was working the first area directly to the right of the second entrance absolutely ruined my entire shopping experience. I walk up and say hey hun, my fiancé gave me a promotional gift card, I’m just wondering what the exclusions would be on that. She responds “um okay?” I go oh uh yeah so it’s it different because it’s promotional? It did say all sales are excluded and the entire store is on sale so just trying to see what the process is.Her response was very belittling and degrading, in a way that had I not been with someone else at the moment I flat out would have just walked away to another employee. I reluctantly continued the interaction with this very bitter and extremely ill mannered employee and it isn’t until she see the amount i had on the card (barely pulled it out of my wallet as I had $100’s as well as a $2,000 strap inside my wallet) she immediately hands it right back over and changes her tone, goes OH THATS GREAT YOU CAN ISE IT ANYWHERE.I have to add I am tattooed and have split black and pink hair, but I spend money. It should not take you seeing what I have inside my designer bag for you to treat me like a human being. I absolutely wanted to just leave the store but my sister in law wanted to try and savor the trip. We end up downstairs and the departments are an entirely different vibe where I was approached by 2 different salesmen that were beyond sweet and very willing to assist me in all my purchases.Upon exiting the store, we went back upstairs to leave where we came out of and the woman, standing in the exact same spot with no one around yells from her spot saying that I found something on sale in a very school girl back and fourth kind of way.Only reasons I have it 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the very sweet men downstairs that actually care about sales. As store such as this that is tailored to a specific tax bracket should absolutely work on customer service because someone like me will not return because of that first interaction. I would have loved to shop upstairs but I wanted to be as far away from that woman as possible for treating me like I shouldn’t be there. I was irate and wanted nothing to do with it. It bugged me enough to make this review 6 hours after the interaction. My shopper as LV said she had a similar experience with the SAME woman funny enough, and said she just put her items back and left instead. If I had the time and wasn’t with my sister in law I would have found someone to speak with then and there because you should not be treating customers that way, especially within 5 minutes of being in the store and not even greeting them. People complain about how young people have no worth ethic meanwhile this woman had been here much much longer than I and has learned absolutely nothing in the process.

Why this particular SFA store has 99 females and 2 males ( example) working in the store ? Where is the equal opportunity?

Great location and staff always goes out of their way to help above and beyond. They are helpful when finding a size online or at another store if they don't have it locally. Haven't had great experiences at their other locations up north but the customer service in this one is always good. Also, I can walk in with the most worn out and raggedy clothes and they don't make the mistake of judging what I'm able to afford.
