The market is insane, so the cost being ridiculously overpriced, is not entirely on the property management companyHowever their inability to adequately staff maintenance for over 6 months, is embarrassing. I’ve waited 30 days for a garbage disposal, over 20 days for laundry, and will likely be a month for A/C.There are a few factors that could lead to improper staffing for what is supposed to be a crucial role in customer satisfaction, I don’t know which of these are true, but it’s either:1. Management is disorganized,2. No one wants to work here3. No one caresBeing this expensive to reside here is a gross pill to swallow, that it’s so costly, and not adequately staffed. Where is our money going?

This place is the worst. The only good thing about this place is the valet trash and thats only because the place we lived before we had to walk across part of the complex to throw out our trash every couple days. Besides that everything else was awful. When we first decided we were going to rent at the Turnbury, we had maybe 2 months left in our previous apartment but wanted to start looking for places a bit early so we would have time to find something. We found the Turnbury early on in our search and decided to rent as they had a unit available on the first floor across from the baseball fields. We had gotten the lease signed for this unit and then receive a call a few days later that the unit we signed the lease for wasn’t actually available and it shouldn’t have been offered to us in the first place (red flag number one). It took a whole month to find another unit that was also on the first floor and was the same layout that was offered to us in the first place, they tried to get us to rent more expensive units and would not give it to us for the price of the original unit despite their mistake so we had to fight with them to find us a unit in our price range like we originally signed for. All that trouble should have been our sign to run but we ended up signing another lease for a different unit. They charge an arm and a leg for apartments that are mediocre at best, we went with a unit that didn’t have the updated appliances so our rent would be a bit cheaper and it was still way more than we should have been paying. When we did the walk through of our apartment on our move in day, we were in such a rush to start moving things in that I didn’t even notice how dirty they had left our apartment. The bathtub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned from the previous tenants, the fridge was dirty and the grout on the tile floors was black like the floors hadn’t been cleaned in years. The cabinets were part yellow and part white and they had dust trapped on the outside that you can’t clean off due to the texture of the cabinets. The counter tops never looked clean either despite how much I would wipe them down. The cleanest part of the apartment was the patio. I ended up cleaning the grout myself cause it grossed me out that part of the grout was black and part was the original color of the grout. The bathtub took me months to get the dark gray stains out of the bottom. We also noticed very quickly that our apartment would constantly smell like cigarettes and weed (sometimes it would be worse than usual but there was always a slight smell) neither of us smoke anything and can’t stand the smell of either so this was something that was so hard to live with for a year and was so embarrassing when we had company over. I tried to mask the smell with air fresheners and candles and even got 2 air purifiers but nothing would stop the smell when it would start coming in strong. On top of all of that our AC only worked maybe 3-4 months out of the 12 months we lived there and maintenance would take their sweet time coming to fix it. It would be broke for 2-3 days before anyone would show up and the only reason they showed up that fast was because we continued calling the office and leaving complaints with the answering service (the actual office would never pick up the phone) and we would stop by to complain as well. When maintenance would show up they wouldn’t actually fix the problem so the AC just continued to break over and over again. The maintenance worker we would always have was also very rude and acted like we were inconveniencing him by wanting him to do his job. A month before we moved our AC really started acting up, it was breaking every couple days. We spent our last night there without AC. We also had the diverter on our bathtub faucet break and the faucet was starting to separate from the wall so our shower pressure was very low cause the water was coming out of the shower head and the faucet at the same time. We put a work order in and it took them 4 weeks to come fix it.

For $2200+/month this is what you can expect:- cooking in the dark while you wait a month and a half for a light to be replaced- handwashing clothes while you wait 3 weeks (still waiting) for your washer to get looked at- third party vendors that destroy $800+ worth of personal propertyI’ve never experienced such terrible customer service ANYWHERE. Every time I call the leasing office or talk to someone in person, I get the same “let me find out and call you back” and never hear back from them. Absolutely useless. You’d think these people are managing the whole city with how “busy” they seem to always be.

This is by far the worst place I’ve ever stepped foot in and this entire complex should be ripped down and rebuilt. Management is a joke. I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy to live here. But I will add, Grace who works in the office is an absolute gem and she’s very kind and helpful and I will say she is the only positive experience I’ve gotten out of living here the last 2 years. So shoutout Grace thank you.Outside of that, if you live here prepare to live in your worst nightmare of poor construction, mold, and cheap appliances with the low price of ur physical health, mental sanity, and an easy 2k+ month.

Lived here for 5+ year I absolutely gets more and more unsatisfied every year and not just because of the outrage price increase. This place is absolutely filthy trash left around everywhere maintenance required take more than a month no matter how urgent. Nothing gets done unless you physically make sure they are doing something about it and even then it take multiple attempts, extremely disturbing bug and trash problems not worth it they are charging what so ever

This property is Shameful & Embarrassing, to say the least.I’ve been a loyal tenant for 12yrs, have had MANY ups & downs (mostly downs) w/ the maintenance team but this one tops the charts on the NEGATIVE!!!I’m currently out of town, due to my father passing, my apartment flooded, soaking my entire carpeted area & bathroom, which stayed in this condition for 7-10 days b4 my neighbor alerted me of this happening.NO ONE from the maintenance team advised me of this happening, entered my apartment without my permission, simply put a fan to dry the carpet & now I’m left with the daunting task to get them to resolve the situation.Between the leasing staff (which gives plenty of lip service, IF you’re lucky to get in communication with one) and the maintenance team, Communication is lame, care factor is worse, sense of urgency is ZERO & I was told, by one of the leasing agents, it probably wouldn’t be resolved until I get back home, which could be another month or two.I have a 9month old & bringing him back to that mess to clean up myself is unacceptable.THINK TWICE, DO YOUR HOMEWORK & believe all the negative reviews!!!I pay nearly $2K for a SMALL one bedroom apartment in a complex that is over 50yrs old.I’ve been diligent in attempting for a resolution but I’m constantly given the work around . This should be a priority, considering the mold & mildew that will result. Why can’t they be transparent & communicate like a professional company they portray to be, which THEY ARE NOT.Don’t waste your time & money here!!! Spend a lil more at a professional property that knows how to treat top quality tenants & have peace of mind in knowing your money is spent justifiably.
