Recently purchased Italian made pants here. I mentioned a perfume smell coming from the fabric to the sales person and she indicated this is common on some items from Italy (? odd) and that dry cleaning would eliminate the smell. Based on this assurance I purchased the pants and requested the garment be altered by the store (at additional cost ). After dry cleaning the pants, the smell was still present. The store manager (George) refused to accept responsibility indicating that the alterations prevented the return! He was exceedingly rude and relied on his 50 + yrs of experience as the justification for his opinion, arrogance and (poor) customer management. Pathetic that an elegant store on Worth Ave (previously a Breakers Hotel store) is run this way. Avoid this place !

Great dress shirts! I found 4 of their dress shirts at TJ Maxx. $39.99 with the original store tag of $495 still attached. On occasion you can find at TJ Maxx in southeast Florida.

My husband bought me a “alligator” purse and a pair of sandals, for Christmas for $4,500.00 They looked cheap. I went to the store trying to find something that I could exchange them for. All the items looked cheaply made, and I couldn’t find something that I would really like. The owner Giorgio refused to give me a refund, so I could purchase my husband’s Christmas gift somewhere else. Don’t buy any gifts there! Ever!

Great place to find fabulous pieces on Worth Avenue. The customer service is outstanding. Giorgio is so fun to chat with each time I visit. I absolutely love my ostrich bangle and one-of-a-kind belt. Need a custom piece in a different color? He's got you covered!

Not of the store...this man Giorgio sounds low-rent and mendacious...but of the adorable sandals from "Giorgio of Palm Beach" that I bought today at T.J. Maxx. $30 for bright blue alligator sandals that were previously marked at $895. I was shocked to find them!!

Salespeople stand near the front & follow Customers around the store. I was tailed from a 5'-10' distance, though I carried a designer clutch, not a shopping bag. I have shopped designer districts such as Worth Avenue & Rodeo Drive many times, but never experienced such an uncomfortable feeling. BTW, This is NOT ~ THE ~ “Giorgio Armani†~ Iconic Red Carpet Pioneer / Milan Designer of luxury goods including perfume & beauty products ~ that most shoppers are familiar with. That store was previously located across the street @ #243, but closed a few years ago. Located smack in the middle of World-Renowned Designer Shops, the sign on the canopy @ #230 screams “Georgio's†in large letters ~ but below::“OF PALM BEACH†in TINY letters, is hardly noticeable (See Photos). It's all about Semantics & Labeling Details. Just So You Know.

I love the stores on Worth in Palm Beach. I have never had a negative experience until I randomly stopped in Giorgio's the day before I left for home. Shopping there was a BIG (and expensive) mistake on my part. I tried on a pair of loafers I liked but wasn't sure of the shoe in terms of fit. The owner and his sales associate convinced me that the loafers looked wonderful on my foot. When the owner felt that the young woman who was helping me wasn't being assertive/pushy enough, he jumped in and went on and on about how wonderful his shoes were and how I can never go wrong with the quality of his shoes. Actually pushy is too kind of a word for this owner. I nearly walked out of the store, but took a chance purchasing the loafers because I had believed that if there was a problem that I could return the shoe. I had mentioned to the owner that I was out-of- state. I truly had believed that Giorgio's was a reputable upscale store that was customer-oriented -- and they would care if there was problem. Unfortunately, I was dealing with a business who just doesn't seem to care about the 'quality and integrity' that the owner spent so much time convincing me of. When I arrived home, I excitedly tried on the shoes but found the shoe to be too big and wide. They looked awful and did not fit well on my foot. The shoes were not flattering at all. I tried inserts -- nothing helped. The 'magic' inserts the owner recommended in the store, which he said would correct all issues did NOT work. I never wore the shoe and only tried it at home walking on carpet. I kept my receipt and noticed for the FIRST time that the receipt stated final sale. I was very upset because the sales associate NEVER said anything to me about this. WHY? I think it's critical to make this clear to a customer (especially to someone who is an out-of-town customer. Both she and the owner were aware of this). I would have NEVER bought the shoes under this condition. It's too risky. I tried to reach the store and speak to the owner. Instead I spoke to a sales associate who could not help me. I called the following day and was finally connected with a Becky -- who said she was an office manager. She told me that she would speak with the owner and get back to me. She also inserted that there was a sign that indicated 'final sale' near the register. REALLY? I didn't see it. Maybe they put one there now. It's been over a week and no call from Becky. I had told her that if I did not get a return call and a resolution that I would write a review. I again indicated that I have never worn the shoe, that I would like to send the shoes back and pay for 1st class (my cost) to ensure they were received. I told her I was very unhappy with the fit of the shoe and stuck with a very expensive pair of shoes that will never be worn. To date, I have received no response from Becky. Her organization don't appear to care how much of a financial loss this is for a professional woman. When I had mentioned to Becky of a similar complaint on another site, she told me that Giorgio's has been in business for a long time and doesn't get complaints. I feel it is important to share my experience. Next time you are looking for shoes on Worth Avenue, be cautious of Giorgio's. I don't care how long they have been in business, my experience was very unpleasant. In addition, it was a very expensive mistake. Not everyone writes reviews, but I happen to be someone who reads and values tripadvisor reviews -- and will share her experience if I can help people. There are many upscale stores and owners on Worth who are credible and will work with you. Stores like Neiman Marcus and Saks have a standard return policy -- and the sales associates are exceptionally professional, helpful and accommodating. Shopping on Worth should be an enjoyable, fun and relaxing experience Unfortuntaely, my experience with Giorgio's of Palm Beach was a negative one.

This longtime palm beach retailer of fine men and women's clothing is selling his inventory at sale prices because he intends to shutter his store. Now is the time to buy as the quality is good and the prices as well.

My grandparents, parents and I have been a part time residents in Palm Beach for three generations and love to shop on Worth Avenue. I have built relationships with top sales people at many designer stores during my stays. I have never been treated rudely at any store on the Avenue; that is before I stopped into Giorgios.'Mr. Giorgio' (the senior sales person who waited on us) pressured my husband and I to start purchasing immediately after stepping through the door. We did have the intention to buy a men's leather vest, but wanted a chance to look at the rest of the store before making up our minds. The salesman quickly decided that we weren't going to purchase anything and kicked us out of store claiming that the store was closing. (No it was not closing time.). By the way, I had made a recent purchase in the 5 digits at a high end designer store down the street two days prior to this incident. If it is 6:00 PM and I am shopping, the sales staff are happy to work with me. I felt as if I was in a remake of the movie, 'Pretty Woman.' Big mistake Mr. Giorgio. I can afford to purchase your garments but will never walk into your store again. Your 'old school walkers' are aging out now. I am your new client. I suppose you will be closing down the store within a year or two. You can always open up a booth at the Sample Road flea market.Gentlemen, if you are looking for really beautiful men's clothing walk a few stores up the Avenue to Brunello Cucinelli. It is fresh, chic and the sale's staff is warm and friendly. Ladies, you have many choices on Worth avenue. Skip Giorgio's and visit those establishments where your business is appreciated.
