I first discovered The Contented Canine while looking for a kind, positive trainer to work with my then 6-month old female rottweiler puppy to teach replacement behaviors for her preferred manner of greeting new people, which was jumping on them, and to solidify commands with which she was already familiar. My puppy was so happy and had so much fun there that she now goes five days a week for doggy daycare. I can't say enough good stuff about this place; they are fabulous!

We highly recommend The Contented Canine! From the first day of doggie day care, the owners Kerry and Darren have always been so kind, gentle and loving with my dog. Eliza loves going there to socialize and play. She comes home happy and exhausted. She gets very excited once we pull into the driveway, its so good to see her so happy! They made sure Our dog was well behaved and not aggressive with other dogs as a trial day before committing, and I really appreciated that. Recently we used The Contented Canine to board our girl for about a week, and it was a very good experience, they even send pictures all the time! The rates are very reasonable too. 5 stars

I have taken my dogs to Kerry for 9 years. She and her staff are excellent and truly care about the dogs in their care. My dog cries with excitement when we turn in the driveway and nearly knocks down the door to get in when we get there. She has a ball at daycare and it is a great place to board if you are out of town. I know she is well taken care of when she is there and very tired when she comes home. All really good things

My Wheaten Terrier loves this place and always leaves tuckered out so I know she gets plenty of exercise and excitement. I highly recommend Kerry and her staff for daycare or overnight stays. We've even taken advantage of her board and train program and now have a much better behaved dog as a result.

The Contented Canine has been my dogs’ home away from home for close to 10 years. There isn’t enough room for all the good things I have to say about the business, the owners, and the staff. Out of necessity, I have tried other facilities (local and elsewhere in the country) and my dogs couldn’t wait to leave them. A sharp contrast to how excited my dogs are when they realize they are going to The Contented Canine. They come home happy, tired from all the play time, and in the same, if not better, mental and physical condition than I left them. If you’re looking for peace of mind while you’re dog is in daycare or boarding, this is the place.

Love The Contented Canine...dropped off my boy and I cried like a baby. They were so awesome not only did they send me a picture of him that day playing but they sent me pictures and updates of him everyday. If I text them they always responded quickly. I will always use them when I go away. It nice to be able to go away and know that your four legged babies are in good hands and being loved and cared for����

We love Kerry and the Contented Canine! Our dog has been attending daycare there for the last couple of months and he is always overly excited to jump out of the car and go play, and happily exhausted when I pick him up. The prices are extremely reasonable and there's always other dogs for him to play with. We also love having a place where he's already comfortable with the facilities to board him at when we leave town, and they even trim his nails and bathe him!
