The experience at America's Best was a great one! Things were done professionally and in a timely manner. The staff was warm and welcoming, and Jeremiah did an excellent job. The prices were more than fair and I would recommend America's Best to anyone looking for truly commendable service.

I use the office in Palm Coast office and the service is terrible. My son has a contact lens prescription and they would not validate it when I used an online contact provider. They insist I purchase there and because I did not, they would not validate the prescription which led to the online company sending the wrong prescription. When I called to ask about their validation process the Manager at the Palm Coast location told me they don't usually validate and simply hung up the phone on me. They are forcing customers to only buy contacts from them and that is both unethical and unlawful.

NOTE TO FUTURE CUSTOMERS (because the employees won't tell you until after you see the doctor): this facility is out of network with VSP. The facility called to ask what insurance we used. I told them VSP and provided the details, and they said "okay, you're good to go." After getting the eye exam, I began browsing glasses and an associate came up to tell me that our insurance (VSP) is out of network with this facility (not all America's Best facilities are out of network, but this one is out of network). Very convenient to let us know this crucial detail AFTER the eye exam. Did they not know when I called earlier in the week? Could they have mentioned it before we drove to the appointment? We moved forward with purchasing glasses through this facility anyway - we were already there and honestly it's a hassle to have to reschedule other activities just to find glasses somewhere else. The glasses came in the next week and when I brought them home to my husband he said they were the wrong prescription, as he couldn't see anything. Very odd, since his prescription hadn't changed since the last visit and this was also noted by the doctor. We called the facility and told them the issue and let them know I had already driven an hour and a half round trip that day to take care of these glasses, and asked if there was anything they could do. The associate was very helpful and looked into the situation and realized that the doctor has messy handwriting and the person who checked us out that day misread his handwriting for the prescription. She kindly reordered the correct lenses without us needing to come down to the facility. This associate gets five stars, and was the only helpful person in this whole ordeal. My apologies for not getting her name, but she is a hero and I appreciate her incredible customer service. The next week, the glasses came in and my husband was told he could pick them up only if the doctor was in the office to be sure the prescription was correct this time. When he called to verify if a doctor was in to assist with their mistake, he received a snarky response about being booked until October and anyway a doctor wouldn't need to be present after all. Okay. Seems like there are some discrepancies in your processes, but that's fine. No need for the snark since you're the ones who made the mistake in the first place. There were no apologies for any of the inconveniences. Needless to say, we are in the market for a new eye doc outside America's Best. Recommendations welcome!NOTE TO COMPANY: it's good practice to let patients know prior to their appointments that you are out of network with their insurance. Otherwise, it's pretty shady behavior to let them know after they have been seen by a doctor. Also, I recommend looking into using a digital platform for prescriptions so that your associates can accurately order prescriptions for patients.

Went back to Americas best in palmCoast. Purchased 4 glasses. And have dealt with Tina Ellen Theresa and Diane. They are all amazing. They made finding the perfect frame seamless and we’re incredibly informative and so friendly! Best team in Florida!

Eye exams were great. Tech and doc were friendly, professional and informed me of each step.The next step is to pick frames for glasses (I can’t wear contacts). I picked 2 frames. Then given a sheet with tints, glares, all kinds of choices but not one single thing was explained. I let clerk know I have never bought glasses so I didn’t know what anything on sheet meant. She remained silent.I tried to ask questions but she still stayed silent.So I just went with all cheapest options. Not spending money on something I know nothing about and whether I need it or not.If I don’t like these glasses, I will go elsewhere, where someone takes time to explain features and what they are for and whether it will benefit me or not.

Not sure why this store even exists. 9/10 no one is there that can help to even just get yours glasses adjusted or tightened. Constantly have to go to the one in Daytona.

We received a pair of glasses, next day delivery to our home. We didn't order any glasses. So being kind, we returned said glasses the next day. They put notes in our account on March 23 but we hadn't been so they are actually notes for someone else. We just wanted something in writing saying that we wouldn't have any charges and such because obviously they are having issues keeping paperwork/orders straight. And the manager just came on shift wouldn't even come out and have a chat w us. Use them with caution as the manager isn't worth a dang and obviously they don't have it together. Lesson learned, we will keep the glasses next time.

My husband and I went to America’s best for new eyeglasses. We were treated so nicely the girls in there helped us pick out eyeglasses Crystal, Chris, Diane, Missy, and Teresa and Jenenne are amazing.

The worse experience I have ever had at this location. My visit wax Simple I had glasses at least a year from this location. I sat on my readers and broke them. I had an appointment weeks away. I asked if I could have my lenses installed in a new frame or order another pair ? So the employee goes to check another employee discusses and they are whispering and then a third joined the whisper. I heard the bossy one say well it's a gray area ? Gray area ? Either you can do it or not . it was not brain surgery. So meanwhile no one's talking to me after 10 mins I said excuse me Forget the request. I got my glasses back , threw them in the trash. The boss attendant replied " WHATEVER and scoffed! 2 nd bad exp. Customer Service will call you eventually. NOT ! Or your on Hold for Hours. Pathetic Service . The worst! I will inform everyone on every social media platform how awful this location is as well as the Company in General is poor at best !

My husband broke his glasses while on vacation. Stopped in to see if they could be repaired. Employees very friendly and extremely helpful. Asked us to give them 30 minutes and they would try their best. Returned to the store and glasses were fixed! So pleased with the service we received and the pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Chrystal the GM did an outstanding job in making my visit a great experience! She was engaging and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my exam was correct. America's Best in Palm Coast is fortunate to have her. Dr. Sheplan was very professional and thorough, explaining each part ot my exam. Each team member engaged me at some point during my visit. All were very nice! I will definitely go back to America's Best in Palm Coast.
