Anything Caribbean you can find here. From the salted cod fish to the spices and veggies. Stuff that publix and Winn Dixie do not carry that us island people love. This is my go-to place to get my malanga or toro, pumpkin, yuca, yam, green bananas, banana leaves, etc. They have it all, even the drinks. They also have an area where you can get hot dishes to take home. From pork to chicken, beef and rice & beans. They even have a frozen area with all sorts of island items. Even homemade pasteles. They also have cleaning items from the islands. Lots of items bring back memories from my childhood. Must check it out if you are looking for anything from the island

My family love shopping at Amigos for all our Latin cuisine needs. Everything you need all year around is usually available. And they have EVERYTHING you need to make a traditional Hispanic holiday menu! Wepa! #SupportLocal

If you’re looking for Latin/Spanish/Caribbean/latin American foods in this Area you will find pretty much everything in this small market. Just check the meats and produce for dates. Normally not fresh! I personally do not buy meats or produce here.

I went there today to get hot food that I usually do, however today, the lady in the restaurant section was not nice. She asked me what I want, I pointed the dish I wanted but seems she can’t get it. I was standing at the side, she pointed me to stand in the front of the counter but still not getting what i was pointing since i don’t know how to say it in spanish. Another customer holding a baby interpreted in Spanish for me, she got it but in a grumpy way. It’s a pork feet but she said beef feet and said $7.99 per pound. I didn’t argue because she’s grumpy. Then the other customer was ordering, she’s a Spanish speaking, I heard they are arguing. When the lady went inside to weight my order, the customer interpreted to me the arguments they had. She said “She’s not good… she told me that she is a witch and that’s how she is.” The customer walked away to report her to the manager. When I was at the counter to pay, I saw the sticker price for my order was $18, I told the cashier, that’s a mistake because it’s only pork feet?. He went to the kitchen and verified it for me. Few minutes later, the grumpy woman with another senior staff came and apologized to me, she changed the price to $6.99 and told me in English “Sorry, I am having a bad day. This place is usually staffed with friendly people, sometimes cannot speak English but smiling.

Cool enough little market that also has a hot food table offering quick prepared food to-go. The staff was friendly and it had ample parking. As I said. It is not a huge market by any means, but if you are in the Oalm Coast area by Interstate 95 and looking for a market with an emphasis on Latin food, Amigos Supermarket can save you from having to take a trip further to get your Latin food needs. All in all, I will recommend here as a market. I did not try their food, so I cannot comment on that. I would definitely recommend Amigos Supermarket as a market for your Latin based grocery needs.
