My experience with Marcus was a year ago when I asked if he could do a butterfly cut. I should have known it was problems when he kept asking to see the picture. My hair was down to my chest and Past my bra stap. Marcus Taylor butchered my hair so badly that I still have not recovered a year later!! I came back the next day to discuss how unhappy I was and wanting a refund he was rude, disrespectful and threatened to call the police. I'll never forget what this man did to me and how he made me feel and I. Highly recommend you steer. Clear and run is fast as you can in the other direction from Marcus Taylor!!!!

the remark made by the owner is a complete and utter lie. My hair was all one length and hadn't been cut in years till he butchered it. See BEFORE and AFTER pics for proof.

It is always so nerve-racking to find a new stylist especially for bleach/color. I was so grateful to find Marcus Taylor, he did an amazing job on my hair. Very welcoming and professional and I will definitely be coming back. Not to mention, he is also very flexible with his hours, which it makes it very convenient for me due to me working three jobs. For reference this is my hair before and after. (brown hair is before / highlights is after)

After moving here and trying several hair stylist and being totally disappointed I found Marcus at Marcus Taylor Salon. I wear my hair short and prefer a razor cut. I can honestly say he is one of the best. I am constantly having people commenting on my cut.Tired of a bad cut give Marcus a shot.

I want to share the horrible unprofessional and disrespectful experience I went through on Thursday February 13 at this establishment. I had an appointment at 4:45 and I got there at my appointment to walk up to the door being locked! I seen Marcus and I knocked and this man had the audacity to look back at me and keep walking out the door! There was another stylist there who came and opened the door and told me that he left in an Uber because I was late and didn’t call or anything. I pulled up my text and showed her the message between us and showing my 4:45 appointment. I called him and he didn’t answer I left voicemail and texted him and no response. The stylist called Chris and he came and did my hair. To be a professional and not have the common courtesy or respect to call me back is beyond me but he won’t ever have to worry about my business. I appreciated Chris he did an amazing job and actually better than Marcus. I will no longer use his services!

Marcus arranged for me to have my hair cut the day I called. Much appreciated being accommodated.
Chis took his time cutting my hair, trying to cut it as it looked in the pictures I showed him of a previous cut. Chris wanted to make sure my hair would look good blown out or air dried and curly as I often wear it.

Another amazing hair transformation done by Chris!!! He takes his time and makes sure that not only the color is done correct and is processing the way it should but he also takes his time when cutting and styling. Of course I’ll be back to get my hair done by someone who knows what they’re doing and doesn’t rush you during the process!!!! Thanks again Chris!!! You’re the best!!!!

Yesterday I contacted the salon and no one was there. Chris, the hair stylist, actually came back to the salon to work on my hair. He was very patient and understanding and took his time with me. I strongly recommend using him. What a wonderful transformation. I'm very happy.

Yesterday, while waiting for my wife at the nail salon, I decided to get a haircut. The last time I walked into a barbershop without an appointment was in childhood, which resulted in a crooked and terrible haircut. For some reason, I decided to try again yesterday.
At the entrance, I was greeted by Chris (based on google reviews), who seemed energetic and friendly. I thought I’d be his client, but he quickly called over a yawning barber sitting outside and handed me off to him. My intuition started flashing red flags, which were confirmed as soon as he began uncertainly combing my hair and cutting with scissors where professionals usually use clippers quickly.
I tried to convince myself everything would be fine, but in the end, I relived that childhood experience with a crooked haircut all around. In a daze, I paid $30, though I’m not sure why. I had to go to a neighboring barbershop to fix it for another $20.
I don’t think Chris is unaware that his partner or employee is a terrible barber. This experience has taught me to be more cautious about walk-in haircuts and to trust my instincts (reviews) when it comes to choosing a barber.

I recently found myself in a hair emergency and needed a same-day appointment for a color correction. I reached out to them, and they were incredibly accommodating. Marcus was friendly and understanding of my situation, which immediately put me at ease.
My stylist, Chris, was not only skilled but also took the time to listen to my concerns and assess what needed to be done. They both explained the process clearly and offered suggestions that aligned with my vision. The atmosphere of the salon was warm and welcoming, very uniquely decorated, making the whole experience enjoyable.
The color correction itself was executed flawlessly. Chris worked diligently, and the final result was stunning! I honestly love it more than my previous color, I walked out feeling confident and satisfied. I can’t recommend them enough for anyone in need of expert care, especially for color corrections. They truly saved my hair. I have included pictures of my hair before and after so everyone can see the amazing work of Chris!
