“This is a wonderful gallery and studio space! My partner and I came to visit a show reception here and were amazed by how many beautiful and interesting pieces were on display. We hadn’t realized that the space was there before but were so happy to have discovered it. There was something tucked into every corner to marvel at including a gorgeous permanent collection of miniatures. The artists and staff were all warm, welcoming, and friendly. It was so inspiring to see so many pieces of heartfelt local art and the artists behind them all in one lovely space.”

“We were looking for a place for beads without having to drive to Sarasota. We thought we’d give Ricks Picks a shot. It’s a house that’s been converted into a business and I’m assuming they still smoke cigarettes inside the facility. It was pretty overwhelming and we smelled like smoke for the next few hours after leaving. There were some beads but mostly chips and I wouldn’t say anything was worth the price. There was a lot of classic rock type memorabilia and weed pipes and paraphernalia of sorts. I don’t know that I’d go back but if Rick is happy doing what he does…that is all that matters in the grand scheme of things”

“Wow! What a gem! A great place to view lots of art (it's bigger than you might think), as well as take classes or let the kids have hands on fun. It's FREE, and the staff are all super friendly. Lots of places to sit and plenty of clean restrooms. Also highly recommend the Palm Cafe for a beverage or lunch.”
