“I go there for peanut butter crackers Coke and cigarettes mostly. I also like their canned food aile and the clothing rack heavily, I mean heavily discounted. I try clothes on right where I stand if I am in yoga pants and fitted shirt, which usually that's the case in Florida cause of the heat for most of the year. The attendees are way nicer there, too, when compering to General Dollar. I mean every general dollar I have been to starting from Pasco and Pinellas and all the way to Hillsborough too they are mostly just rude at that store. Especially managers. This is the first and only family dollar I have ever been to, though, so you know that's just my experience with this 1 family store. I noticed something weird at that store, too. All the people who shop there are very friendly for some reason. Must be the area it is located at cause my neighborhood doesn't have any problematic neighbors. I mean none and I have walked it around with my 2 year old then son too many times and got to meet people in front if their homes who were always keen on taking saying hi especially around holidays in Holiday area...lol. I mean, it's a perfect area to live in if you had neighbors for the past 7 years that were just awful to you. I am way more positive and just realized that finally happy too cause of that. Grumpy and nosy people can really keep a person down and without realizing it for a long time, too!”

“What best describes a Dollar Tree shopping trip? The store is always clean, though there might be stacks of product in the isles, waiting to be put on the shelves.What was here last time might have been sold out before this visit, so the "do they have..." questions are incredibly difficult to answer. Keeping in mind that a lot of their inventory is bought as close-outs of someone else's inventory and you begin to understand the "I don't know" answers. Even calling the store is trumped by going there.That all said, because I never know exactly what they will have, I love shopping here!!!”

They are constantly turning over merchandise and changing out offerings, plus the staff know where EVERYTHING is found (even the obscure items rarely asked after)This store is located in an awkward corner of a goodwill parking lot which is also poorly accessed from traffic heading westbound on 54....”

“I have lived in New Port Richey for 25 years. I like this Dollar General location. It's convenient. They have a little of everything.Watch out in the parking lot when entering and exiting the store. Drivers drive like bats out of hell. If it was their child or grandchildren walking they would stop or drive slowly. Nutty people but good store.”

“This review is really more geared towards Keith the store manager.Although, I do always find the store fully stocked with the items I need, It's always clean, all the employees are very helpful and have been there for a long time. plus it always smells nice and fresh when you walk in!I find myself going out of my way to stop into the store to get whatever it is that I need, just because I know that Keith will brighten our day! Every time anyone walks into the store, he greets them with a smile and a hello. about 2 years I've been going there now and I've never seen them in a bad mood, never once. He's so positive and kind and upbeat and in a world that we live in today, we need more people like him!My kids even ask to stop by the store if they see his truck outside. He remembers their names and always engages in conversation with them about school and such.....Sometimes it's the customer service that you receive that keeps you coming back. Someone who is kind, positive, knowledgeable and always has a smile on their face is worth coming back to see!Thanks for keeping an awesome store and being such an awesome person Keith!”

“Great items. Always find something different every time I go there I love that there's fresh bread donuts and pastries always available. I always end up getting more storage dishes you can't be getting bowls with lids and more gadgets different size bags for freezing and also measuring items for baking with decorating candies and different colors for icing beautiful cake. Cleaning a party is always easy and it cost less than $10 to decorate just about any occasion.. it's also really nice finding those inexpensive art supplies and decorating ideas for changing”

They're very knowledgeable about the products they sell and also very helpful and willing to stop what they're doing to give you a hand if need be. There are lots of DG stores in the area but this one is quickly becoming my favorite!”

“As Dollar Tree stores go, this one is fine. I like snagging something for 1.25 that I would pay much more for at Publix. Greeting cards are always a go to for me. Why spend 15.00 for a card someone is just going to throw away? The store wasn't crowded or dirty during my visit and staff was courteous. I would go back.”
