I wasn't actually seen by anyone here. I scheduled an appointment online and when I arrived they said there was no doctor present today and were hardly apologetic. Perhaps they're great when you're actually a patient, but based on my experience with scheduling and staff, I would never recommend.

I am a senior citizen age 77 and I went to Optical Districk and advised them the glasses I had the lenses could not be cleaned. I told the girl at the front desk I wanted to purchase a pair of lenses to put in my glasses. She advised me I had to buy a new set of glasses including new frames. After the eye exam she asked me if I wanted to purchase a second pair and I told her no I couldn't afford a second pair. She advised me that Amica Credit had approved me for $2,400 and she could get me a second pair for a total price for both $984.00. I told her no so she dropped the price for the two pair to $850.00 so I told her ok. She then advised me they could use my old pair of frames. To me that means they could have used my old pair of frames in the beginning and I would have only had to have spent $300. All I can say is they aren't a Honest Business. I called the district manager Monica and got a recording in Spanish so I sent her an Email and she failed to respond. I am sending this complaint to the BBB because she did not respond to my complaint. Thank You Dale W Whitney

I had the worse experience ever I was Hung up on by Connie when calling for the 4th time to cancel my order ! Originally I received a written quote from Connie for $300 . I returned a few days later to finalize my order and learned my order increased to $400. My fault for putting half down bc I was a bit apprehensive bc of the price increase . A few days later I called to cancel my order . I’m now getting the runaround about cancelling my order. The glasses weren’t ordered bc the balance wasn’t paid in full ! So therefore it shouldn't be a problem w cancelling my order and refunding to the original form of payment.. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service experience especially from someone who’s stating their the owner and Mgr (Connie) . I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone!!!!

I’ve requested a copy of my prescription 3xs now in the last three weeks. The last two phone calls they never called back as promised when seeing if it was mailed, which it hadn’t been. They only have fax and snail mail capabilities, or pick up. No online portal or email capabilities. They make it impossible to be able to see. Incompetent. I’ll be calling again today to tell them I will be picking it up since they can’t seem to put in an envelope.

I've been using For Eyes for several years and always found the service and product satisfactory, until now...Last year I purchased prescription reading and sun glasses with the protection plan. About two months ago the sunglasses started to lose their tint/sunblock. Yesterday I brought the glasses back for repair and I was informed that I was two months out of warranty. I was told the manager would call me if they could do anything. They never called, so I returned to the store. At the store I was told that they were too busy to call me, to tell me, that they would not do any repairs under the warranty. However, I informed them that I was never told that the warranty is for one year and none of my paperwork/receipts mention a time limit. This was the first time I had a problem with my glasses and I'll say they dropped the ball on this event. The glasses cost me $220.80 and after 14 months they are no longer viable.

Wish I could give 5 stars, but everything was great, until...........my For Eyes story begins ok. Made an eye exam appointment online and when I got there, there wasn't a dr there on that day. "The website is not connected to the stores schedule." No worries. I made another appointment at the same store a week or so later. Appointment Day: Dr was great! Picked out 2 pair of glasses. The Dr suggested a single vision along with my progressives for computer use. Everyone so nice, seemed happy and worked well together. A week later my glasses were ready. Picked them up and they fit well. Tried to use the single vision pair and they we not right, making my computer screen very blurry. I called and asked if I could return them and they said "yes." My progressives work fine. The day I return to the store, I checked in at the desk. They gave me a seat and said " Bob will be out to help you in a minute." Bob came out he seemed to have a position of being " in charge." I explain the issue with the glasses and asked to return them. He said "No. first we need to fix them before they can be returned." He got up and went to look up my file. While he was gone, I search on my phone the For Eyes return policy. It seemed he lied. One of the option for return is; and I quote "Return their purchase for a full refund." 100% Satisfaction Guarantee (30 Days). Well I was well within 30 days. Bob was very indignant. In a loud voice he stated that "only the manager can do returns, and she's not here. As a matter of fact, she'll be on vacation for a few weeks!" My response was, well that will be beyond 30 days., can a manager from another store assist me. "No!" I replied that that was unacceptable. I asked to leave a message for the manager. As he started to take down the info, the very nice man at the reception finished getting my phone number. Before I left, I told Bob, that he should have been honest right away. And he began to get into a rant. I asked him to calm down. " I would have recommended this store to a lot of people, but now I won't. You will get more business being truthful. Hi don't believe I can recommend you now!" So, because of one negative employee's actions. I am contemplating returning both pairs of glasses. I will still return the one pair( as I cannot use them.) Sorry for the long review. Too bad, as it would have been 5 stars without Bob.

As a previous customer I'd always thought that For Eyes in Palm Harbor was a class act. But my visit there last Saturday evening (close to closing) was exemplary, exceeding all expectations. It was a show of what great customer satisfaction was all about.
