This is my 3rd bad experience with this store. Me and my wife both have bought full sets of tires from them in the last 18 months. I make an aptm online for 830am this morning. James calls me immediately when I made aptm and stated they would be slammed at 830am so I asked what time would be best. He tells me afternoon. I bring my truck in at 120pm for a patch(no big deal, right?) I get it, it's only a $26 sale. So I get on my bike that I had brought with me. Take an hr and 20 minute ride. When I get back my truck hasn't been touched at this point its well after 230pm. With the car havnt been touched I know it's about to be another hr and a half - 2 hours which I don't have available due to work(hence the 830am aptm). Had to get my keys back and go to the mom and pop mechanic who was less expensive and had me out within 25 minutes. I understand yall are in the business to make money but why even offer that service if it holds no priority for your guys. Last 2 times I purchased tires they were annoyed that I was using acima. Again... why offer it if it's so annoying? Learned my lesson this time.

Great mechanic , good timely service, and the folks that work behind the counter were personable and informative. Been there twice and both times left satisfied.

I took my SUV in to have the tire patched because I had a small nail in it. The technician tried to say all 4 of my tires need to be replaced because they are dry rotted. I left and went somewhere else and the technician there let me know that my tires were in great condition and there was nothing wrong with them except the nail I had in my tire. Very shady and thought he was dealing with some dumb woman.

Needing an emergency tire replacement I headed here after wasting my time and energy at Mavis down the street. The guy that helped me at the front desk was friendly and went out of his way to get me a solution so that I could get back on the road and to my appointment.I'll definitely be back for my next batch of tires!

Incompetence, lying, gaslighting: over the past few days, my simple purchase of a set of tires and an oil change has become a nightmare. My first interaction with Goodyear Palm Harbor started with salesman Bob. We asked for a synthetic oil change, 4 new tires, and an alignment check to make sure that the new tires lasted and to ensure proper vehicle handling. We specifically asked to see the alignment check (before/after) printout to verify the necessity of the repair, especially since the vehicle tracked straight before any work was performed.Over the phone, Bob assured us that the vehicle was out so we authorized the alignment. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle, we were given inaccurate paperwork, and it was immediately clear that the vehicle was pulling strongly to the right. This was not a problem when we brought the car in.We called Bob back, and he explained that 2 other customers had alignment issues over the weekend, and that the alignment machine needed professional adjustment. He said that he would find another location to perform the work and call us back. The call never came. The next day we came in and hoped to meet with a general manager who would explain what went wrong, and how he would fix it. Instead, Alex, the GM, insisted defensively that his alignment machine was fine, and it was “the guys in the back” that he needed to “babysit” who had messed up our alignment. He even went so far as to say that because it was a Chevy Volt (a series-hybrid vehicle), he couldn’t perform a test drive/accurate work because the battery was low. Any qualified auto technician would immediately know this is untrue. When we confronted him on this assertion he snapped that we were “getting off-topic.”We learned that we were charged for road-hazard, which we had declined, and not charged for an alignment which we had requested. Finally, Alex took the vehicle and realigned it himself, promising that it was good to go. After fixing some inaccurate charges we left the establishment. And the first thing we noticed?…still pulling to the right. We then drove directly to Pep boys for an alignment check, where they found that the vehicle’s alignment (completed by Alex 8 miles earlier) was significantly out of spec. We had them perform the alignment which finally solved the pulling. We’re out $117 from Goodyear putting it out of alignment with their broken machine. As someone with extensive experience working in the automotive sector, (including a stint as a technician at Goodyear in NYS), I have never before witnessed something so sleazy or incompetent in the business. I can only imagine how they would treat someone who knows little about cars.My advice? Take your car elsewhere. This place is a scourge.

Made appt 1 week in advance for 9am stating we would wait on site, arrived 8:36 and Bob said it would be 1.5 - 2 hours. Decided we’d leave and come back. Bob then asked what was the latest we would have to have it? Explained absolutely no later than 12p and Bob agreed. There was no consulting with Manager, Bob simply agreed. We arrive at 12:05 and car still in bay. The manager, Alex, wanted to show the state of the brakes to us. We turned down further repairs. As We walk out of shop Alex tells the technician who was working on an oil change “when you finish that, go ahead and mount the tires (ours). We explained to Bob that it was upsetting and asked what was the point in making a 9am appt plus giving them 1 more hour over estimated completion time. Bob was very apologetic, but was interrupted by the manager Alex. Alex said “you need to talk to Goodyear about that”. What?? He went on to say that he had told Bob when asked that it could probably be done by 12p (that was a lie). Alex became extremely arrogant and rude. He kept on and on about it only being 10 mins past due time. Skipping over the fact the appt was at 9a. He then walked into shop at 12:11p, within waiting area ear shot, loudly told the tech “ your 11 mins late”, very sarcastically, “get this one done”(ours). They couldn’t find the invoice but then Alex comes out of his office with it in hand arrogantly saying “it was on my desk as I was just about to call you about the suggested repairs”. So, appt was at 9, we gave until 12p voluntarily but it was after 12 and he hadn’t even called us yet.We paid the 1,065.00 and left. Bob handled himself professionally; however, Alex was rude, arrogant, non-apologetic and about as unprofessional as we have seen in a customer facing business role. The sad part, we were return customers spending 355.00 a few months back. The good part, we’ll never deal with Goodyear service centers nor Alex ever again. We always make a point to leave good reviews when warranted. Unfortunately, this is one of the extremely rare times we have left a negative one.

Bob and Alex here at Goodyear went above and beyond to take care of me. Although they couldn’t remedy my air condition issue they were fair, honest, and didn’t try to bite off something they could not chew.

I was a customer at Safelite Auto Glass, which shares the shop and waiting area with this business. Our son has autism and while I was waiting for my cracked windshield to be replaced, I called my wife to let her know what was happening and if our son's school called, where I was. My wife and I always like to have a backup phone available, so I told the Goodyear Manager, Alex Denova, about the situation and asked if he could provide an alternate number for us. Alex was very concerned about my son and said it was important that my wife be able to get me if needed. Alex gave me his business card and said he or the gentleman working with him (sorry, don't have his name), would alert me if my wife called (she didn't). I also had the opportunity to watch how Alex worked with his Goodyear customers and liked what I saw. Thanks to Alex's kindness, plus how he took good care of his customers, our family will now use this business for our automotive needs. Alex's professionalism with customers just gained him another one! Thanks, guys.

After experiencing FOUR horrible visits to the Goodyear Auto Service in Clearwater and leaving a review, I ended up calling the Customer Service number that was left in response to that review. My front brakes are still squeaking after those visits. The Customer Service agent set me up with the information for this Goodyear location. They spoke with Mike from this location and had me call to set up an appointment. He knew the situation and set me up for a 2PM appointment. Keep in mind I had to travel about 19 miles to get here, I showed up on time hoping this location would be so much better. IT IS NOT. I walked in and was immediately turned away because they are shortstaffed and have too much work to do. Meanwhile it is 2:13PM and no one is even working in the garage. Mike isn't even here to assess the situation that I am here trying to give Goodyear another chance. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. HOW DO YOU TURN MULTIPLE PAYING CUSTOMERS AWAY WHO HAVE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS AND THEN MAKE EXCUSES?! What a horrible way to run a business. Save your time and money and do not give this company a chance as I have so many times. I will be calling that Customer Service agent back with this incident as well. Go somewhere else.
