I’ve been getting my blonde highlights with Mark since I moved to Florida, and I couldn’t be happier with my hair! He came highly recommended — and now I know exactly why. Brittany has been my hair stylist for close to 18 years and I have been complimented consistently over that time about my hair highlights. Brittany is pleasant to chat with and her shop is run very well. I highly recommend her place.

It’s been over a year since my traumatic experience and my hair is still nowhere near the length it was before I walked in and half of my hair chopped off without my consent. I came in for a simple trim with hair down to my waste, and left with half my hair gone, to my shoulders, again, without my consent. The stylist physically pushed my head down, turned me away from the mirror the entire time, did not speak, and gave me the most extreme haircut of my life with no warning or communication.
When I tried to explain how traumatic it was to the owner, she completely dismissed my pain, and said, “maybe she was doing you a favor.” She even demanded a video of my hair beforehand, as if I was lying. Her response that she’s “sorry the cut wasn’t up to my expectations” wasn’t just offensive, it was dehumanizing. This wasn’t a bad haircut. It was a violation of my autonomy. A very dangerous environment to be in. I was treated like a problem, not a human being. I was not safe.
I left in tears, stripped of the hair it took me five years to grow. A year later, I’m still recovering. The emotional distress this has caused me is unexplainable. Having a large part of yourself stolen from your body, and receiving zero understanding or regard from the people responsible, is very damaging and dangerous. Let this be a warning that this salon shows no care, compassion, or bare minimum human respect.

She is so kind, she is the owner, she is very professional, her salon is absolutely gorgeous!!!
Oh and I am getting 3 inches cut off that’s how much I trust her
I never allow that much to get cut off at one time but with Britney I trust her a million percent!!!!

I asked for pricing with mark and he texted me the pricing. When I paid it was significantly higher. On top of that I asked for a haircut and he didn’t schedule me in his time for a cut so he was wanting to charge me an extra $60 just for a cut on top of already overcharging what he promised. He was also very rude when I asked about a cut and blaming me. And to top it all off I asked him 3 different times in the salon if I needed a toner
Because I do not want a golden blonde- I wanted an icy blonde. When I got home I looked at my hair and it is extremely golden and nothing like I asked for in the picture I had showed and sent him. I asked him to fix it and no reply. Very dishonest. I waited a few days to leave a review as I was hoping the owner of the salon would respond to the message request I put on the site but it’s been 4 days now.
