No longer a pleasure to shop at. For decades people have known Publix prices were high. But when Walmart sells milk at $1.78 half gallon and Publix is $4.88 for half gallon. It’s time to move on.

Deli has some half bald 50 year old working in this section rudely pushed his employee aside. Gave the three smallest pieces of chicken and since he had an atittude before he got to me you expect of nice he was with me.

Frustrating.
I recently purchased the Eat Fresco prepared meals, and while I appreciate the the food itself, one major ISSUE will prevent me from purchasing it again: the PACKAGING.
Specifically, the plastic cover is incredibly difficult to remove. After heating the meal, peeling off the film becomes a frustrating and time-consuming task, even after it has cooled off a bit. The same issue exists with Publix’s prepared chicken breast with linguine, the cover never peels off cleanly, often leaving small bits of plastic stuck to the container.
It’s baffling that companies focused on convenience meals don’t invest in higher-quality, user-friendly packaging. Those of us who purchase ready-made meals do so for ease, efficiency and CONVENIENCE. If we wanted to deal with hassle, we’d cook from scratch. We’re paying extra for convenience, and packaging that slows us down defeats the purpose!

As someone who owns a catering business and is trained in hospitality, I’ve always appreciated the service and standards Publix is known for, clean, friendly, and accurate.
On June 6th around 4 PM, I visited the Publix at Shoppes at Boot Ranch to purchase lottery tickets. A woman with a short blonde bob cut and glasses came over and asked who was first, even though I was clearly in the Lotto line and another woman was already being helped on the customer service side. Her tone felt a bit abrupt considering how light the line was. (3 of us total)
After I handed her my cash directly, she placed my change on the counter instead of in my hand. It may seem like a small detail, but it felt dismissive and not in line with the warm, personal service I’ve always experienced at Publix. She wasn’t rude, but her overall demeanor felt off.
As someone who values hospitality, I believe small gestures go a long way. I’m also curious—is this standard practice when handling Lotto transactions? Because every other cashier has always handed me my change directly. I’m sharing this in hopes it helps maintain the consistent and friendly experience Publix is known for-as I have read the reviews and management has not responded to their customers concerns or complaints.

The store itself is great, the staff is wonderful. Great produce and products and flowers. Publix doesnt carry certain items I need so I use Sprouts more, but Publix has its own charm.

Fresh produce always has items that my family needs. Great store, entire staff are kind and friendly. They provide excellent service. Publix provides high quality of foods, sandwiches, ice tea, fried & rotisserie chicken. Salads, fruit bowls. They have everything you need. I recommend them very highly to everyone.
