Jennifer was the tutor of our high school kid. We started with tutoring of one class and expanded it with SAT prep. With Jennifer's excellent skills our kid was able to finally understand the task it had difficulties to learn from its teacher in school and get better SAT results. She works very professionally ,has work sheets, books and lots of resources online to make learning a positive experience.Jennifer sees a student individually, recognizes their strengths and needs, and then creates a perfect matching tutoring plan.As an experienced teacher, Jennifer understands our child and establishes a positive, supporting and motivating environment for tutoring. She was always there for questions in between, was in frequent contact with us parents and answered texts and emails promptly. Our kid never missed a session and always felt comfortable with tutoring.Thank you Jennifer for your fabulous teaching and support!

Jennifer worked wonders with my daughter! She would not have survived a year of Chemistry without Jennifer’s help. Jennifer’s knowledge base (subjects and ages) is very broad, and she was able to pivot to other subjects as my daughter’s needs changed.Jennifer also worked with my daughter over the summer for SAT preparation, and my daughter’s percentile performance increased by over 50 from baseline pre-tests to actual test score. Amazing!Jennifer has very reasonable rates and has assorted packages available. She has been a joy for my daughter and me to work with!

My child has been going to Seeds of Knowledge for about a year now for mathematics. Homeschooling can be tough, we turned to Jennifer for mathematics and it has helped tremendously. We no longer argue about math! Jennifer has been able to take her several levels above her typical grade level. She is works well with gifted learners and their nuances such a perfectionism, anxiety, and even helps to establish executive function skills. We are thrilled that we found Jennifer as now our home is far more peaceful that it was before. She is very organized and easy to deal with. We would recommend her to anyone needing tutoring.

What I liked the most is that Jennifer is flexible, understanding and caring, she recognized quickly how to help my daughter to overcome her difficulties and filling the gaps she had. For my daughter she became also a friend and a person where to go to be tutored with pleasure.

Jen at Seeds of Knowledge was just what my son needed. He was struggling pretty bad with reading, he was a full grade behind. Jen is so patient and knowledgeable, she knew exactly where he needed help the most after only a few minutes of hearing him read. My son loves her and hes improved so much since going to her! He learns so many interesting things while he with her. She keeps him engaged and many different techniques to make sursure he is never bored. I would recommend her to anyone!!

Jen has been helping me with tutoring for the GMAT. She's one of the best tutors I've ever had! She broke down the test for me and I'm seriously seeing major improvements when I study and in my test taking abilities. She sincerely cares about the wellbeing of her students and only wants the best and for us to succeed. She's helped me with my confidence, verbal/math skills, and over all knowledge of things I don't think I will need but turns out, I do! She seriously knows what she's doing here people! If anyone ever needs a recommendation for a tutor, I would send them to Jen in a heartbeat!

Right off the bat, I knew that I was being tutored by an individual who was very knowledgeable, understanding, organized, and patient. I was happy to have found Jennifer to help with the math section of the General Knowledge Test for Elementary Education. I have previously had other tutors that did not have the knowledge of how the test worked. Jennifer helped me learn concepts in Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Probability, Percentages, and much more! At the end of the tutoring, I felt I was more prepared to take my test than ever before. She helped me raise my scoring by 40 points! I recommend Jennifer highly and I am truly thankful for everything Jennifer taught me throughout the weeks.

Her test scores have drastically improved and her enthusiasm and confidence about her work is soaring! I would highly recommend Jennifer as a tutor. Her organizational skills in her "school studio" is beyond impressive. Within this learning environment, Jennifer has every learning tool to help her students achieve their academic goals.

Jennifer is an amazing tutor!! She's been tutoring me for about 2 years now, and all of her tools and advice that regard learning are absolutely efficient. She's helped me improve on my math skills and taught me how to use my time wisely instead of rushing through the problems. I definitely recommend her 100%!!

Jennifer assisted my 11th grade son with SAT Prep during this past April and May. The experience was absolutely invaluable and we highly recommend her services to other families. Prior to finding Seeds of Knowledge, my son had never been a terrific test taker; we were all feeling very anxious about the SAT. Jennifer immediately put us at ease. After reviewing the results of my son’s first SAT test, she tailored her program to specifically address his needs and particular areas of weakness. She provided many test-taking tips and strategies which bolstered my son’s overall attitude and confidence. Working together for two hours, twice weekly, Jennifer covered a tremendous amount of material in a relatively short period of time; not a moment was wasted! The homework assigned between each session was meaningful, yet not overwhelming. Throughout my son’s sessions with Jennifer, he remained highly motivated and positive. Thanks to Jennifer, my son increased his SAT scores by 300 points! Never, in my wildest dreams would I have expected such outstanding results which are bound to impact my son’s prospects in terms of college admissions. I definitely know who to call when it is time for my 14-year-old daughter to prepare for the SAT!

Jennifer had a hard time getting along with my daughter, a very independent and motivated IB student. Her inability to change her work methods to fit the student make her a one trick pony, and it came up short for my daughter who struggled with her tremendously (and a first ever with my daughter). The laborious card system, and other organizing methods took away from actual education towards weaknesses. Miscommunications regarding appointments, and Jennifer in the end not honoring a verbal statement she made to us the day after we committed for the big package, make this tutor a disappointment for us, and not effective in achieving goals. If you are allergic to cats you can't go there, they roam free in the classroom space, and are locked out only when a session takes place. Great first impression, but then a major let down.
