Be very careful of tides. Low tide is less than 6 inches of water

We have been using this ramp for a couple years now.The entrance is before where it was before which makes it a pain to turn around if you miss the turn in.Other then that it's kept clean. It's the one we go to if we can't get in at the causeway or Dunedin Boat ramp. There are many more places to park there then they are in Dunedin.

I have never noticed this spot before because we don't have a boat. We came here twice. First time to see where it was located bc we were going to be back with friends to meet up with a boat charter. GPS will guide you next door to the trailer park but that's obviously not the case. It's one drive way over. I'm glad I drive here before hand. This area is simply for those with boats to drive here and put their boat in the water so they can have a boat day. They have a parking lot and it's $2 for car and $4 for boat and trailer for all day parking. It's very simple. There's one building for bait and also restroom and then some boats do park here and they also have a boat ramp. We picked up our boat charter here that we found on Fishing Booker and that was that.

Since they re routed the entrance, this place is nowhere near as functional as it was in 2022. Long line to put in, but my concern was taking my boat out of the water at the end of the day. I waited in line for 15-20 minutes, then bailed out. Will go back today after work to see if it's any better.

This is a simple boat dock for launching boats. They have a bait shop and public restrooms.

We appreciate a public boat ramp. There was only one ramp though. Putting in was easy for us besides the men that were cursing me my husband to hurry and put in. They clearly are there often. Then proceeded to hit our boat with their ramp! We were trying to put in with our family and dog. My husband a Marine kept his calm and got us out of the ramp area. Mind you there was NO line. When we spoke to a park ranger at the bird preserve he said that Sutherland Bayou was full of unsavory boaters, the loading of the boat was easy and positive. I don’t recommend using this ramp. Especially if you want a calming experience.

No restroom facilities and numerous potholes. Great location
