Gatorama is known as the most hands-on, educational, and fun alligator park in Florida. Established in 1957, the park boasts over 2,000 alligators and 200 crocodiles, along with a variety of other animals, including bobcats, panthers, birds, tortoises, turtles, peacocks, and smaller reptiles. Visitors can enjoy face-to-face encounters with giant alligators, participate in the "Fast Hands or No Hands Challenge," or try the "Uncle Wader's Catch a Gator" experience. For the less adventurous, the park offers hands-on encounters with giant tortoises and other featured creatures. Visitors can also purchase farm-raised alligator meat, sausage, and ribs from the family farm.
