“Great local liquor store with a very good selection of spirits at good prices. If you’re a bourbon fan they do really good barrel picks, which is not common among our local liquor stores. I do not live close to this store but I will hit it up at least once a month to check out their bourbon barrel picks and their above average selection of bourbon with the likes of Dark Arts, Shortbarrel and more, which are brands you really won’t find anywhere else in Miami.”
“Whole Foods Market recently moved their store from an old renovated Publix supermarket to a brand new store on South Dixie Highway and Southwest 104th Street.
The new store is absolutely gorgeous! It is immaculately clean, beautifully organized, And the displays are most attractive.
There is an infinitely wide variety of food choices from pre-packaged Foods, two meats and fish, to an in-store Bakery with fresh baked goods, and hot ready to go meals.
As with most natural food markets, the prices are going to be higher then your average supermarket chain store.
But it is well worth the extra money because you are getting fresh, organic food.
Give them a try, and be sure to sample some of their fresh baked muffins. They are to die for!
UPDATE 10/2021:. My only complaint is about the parking. The lot that houses this store as well as Target is huge. However, the area nearest to Whole Foods is very small and always crowded. The best time to get there is when the store opens. It's a shame that during busy times, you may have a sizable walk to get to the store from your parking spot. Also, handicapped parking is not very generous in number.
UPDATE 08/04/23
I went today to get a brisket. The butcher custom cut a 6 pound brisket (flat cut). The price was $1 cheaper than the local grocery store chain, and this beef has been humanely raised and has no antibiotics and other chemicals on traditional beef. It was a win!

I was in the deli department today and was thoroughly impressed at the fact that I saw an employee with a temperature probe tempting at intervals along the entire food case and recording the temps on a smartphone device. I mentioned it to the employee serving me and she said that they regularly test the temps of the food cases several times a day. I have never seen this at my local Publix and was so impressed that Whole Foods takes food safety so seriously. It gives me confidence that whatever I purchase is going to be safe to eat and I'm taking very little risk. IMPRESSIVE!”
