Seems to me that the local Ace stores including this one have more knowledgeable and helpful associates than the Big Box stores. Also Ace has many specialty hardware products and plumbing products that the Big Box stores do not have. You can buy online and pick it up just like at the Big Box stores. It's worth your time to give them a try.

Good store with some items for home repairs and improvements, not as much as Home Depot but to solve a problem quickly it can be useful. The prices do seem a bit high.

Nasty and rude cashier and guy who gathered my order. I ordered it a while back hadn't had a chance to pick up . It was paid for and 2 mop heads. Went to pick up cashier was snotty we called you 3 weeks ago. I turned away from this rude Karen. The old guy getting the bag gave me a disgusted look. I had been in touch by phone with them. Ridiculous behavior and customer service. Karen asked for the order number etc then Florida DL. I purchased on behalf of a business. I told Karen to keep them. I will never shop here again the store on Manatee Ave is so much better. Not worth the time or $$ to put up these people.

Top tier customer service. I called to see if they had a part, and in the process, the phone lost connection. We played phone tag. When I got to the store, I heard the same voice from the phone asking, "Are you Amber?" I responded. She smiled, and the gentleman working with her handed me the part. They were waiting for me to come in the door. That day, I was very under the weather, and their simple act of kindness was so helpful. I'm grateful.

Ace truly is the place and probably the only place that actually has a helpful hardware man , wow workers with knowledge who are eager to help the customers, service as it should be, !!!!!

Looked to see their hours on Google. Their hours show open until 7:00. I took an Uber and got there at 6:36 and they were closing the doors. I knew exactly what I wanted but they said no, they were closing and didn't care what their hours were listed as. This store is a horribly run Ace store to begin with. Definitely won't come here again.
