Pulled had to the left, brakes were soft under hard breaking and ac didn't work. It did run good but was a handful to drive pulling that hard and weak brakes.

I made a reservation for a tow dolly with my truck and they did not give me one. The one was broken they had and did not allow me to take it but also didn't get me a new one, and they had two days to get me one and fix the situation . I ended up having to leave my vehicle and cost me in another trip to come back to get it. I called customer service a million times and no one ever called back. Also, before this. Their computers messed up and cancelled my order twice. I had to call them 6 times even before the move date, and they still didn't even get that right. Never have I wasted so much time and money with a company who clearly didn't care. I told them that Penske or u-haul wouldn't allow that and they asked why I didn't go with them then.. We'll next time I will!

Rented a truck from this location last week. When we drove it off the lot it was severely damaged and were told everything was fine and the damage was annotated. We dropped it off today and they are saying we caused all the damage and are liable because it was not annotated on the charge out sheet. Stay away from these scammers.

Rented a truck from this location in July. The employee did not inspect the truck before it was given to us. One of the front headlights was out and that resulted in us getting a ticket. The police officer told us budget could just fix the headlight and submit proof to the court and the ticket would be taken care of. Explained this to the employee at budget and gave him the ticket with the understanding budget would take care of this. Three months later and they have done nothing, and I am stuck to pay this ticket. Tried calling the store no one answers, and their customer service number is a nightmare especially if you are deaf.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT rent a car from this company! 10hrs before my rental was to be picked up, after I have already confirmed my reservation and paid up front days in advance, I received a call from my local rental dealership letting me know that the car I had on reserve for the following day, is no longer available because the customer that had the car prior to us, had extended their rental for a couple more days. Now that is no fault of our own, as we followed the directions provided to us on our reservation, just to be told less than 10hrs prior to heading home, that our car was no longer available. And rather than do everything they could to supply us with another car for their ineptitude, they give us a run around on the phone - and effectively leave us stranded in FL without anyway of getting home. I REPEAT, DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS OR YOUR MONEY!!

Don't ever rent from this place! They are HORRIBLE! I booked a one way car rental through Hotwire.com for a really great deal. I've used Hotwire to book car rentals many times while traveling and never had a single problem. I had a one way rental out of town. I go inside to claim my reservation, and the guy behind the counter says my reservation was canceled. Says he tried to call me and reads off some phone number that isn't even close to mine. He claimed the car they were going to give me is still being used and the person renting it was still in another town. The guys seemed totally unsympathetic. Just said an empty "sorry, try somewhere else, nothing we can do". WTF?? So didn't offer me any other car? A voucher for my trouble? No customer service gesture whatsoever? You are supposed to have additional cars just for situations like this. People need to be places and depend on having their reservations fulfilled. I went on my phone and tried to make another booking somewhere else. The prices for the one way rental I needed jumped literally by a factor of over 10x and that same rental would have cost me several hundred dollars for just one day after tax. I decided to just book a flight and found something on Southwest for $128 and got out of town. I didn't want to fly because of the coronavirus pandemic and booked a car for that specific reason. But now I had no choice, not going to pay extortionist prices to rent another car when a one hour flight is half that price. I got home regardless, but this is the worst customer service experiences I've had renting a car and I'm going to contact Hotwire.com(who I booked it through), Priceline.com and Budget corporate and let them know about it as well as share this experience on review sites on social media. Avoid this place like the plague and find a trustworthy car rental agency. Go here at your own peril and realize that you may end up stranded if you do, even if you have your reservation well in advance. Scroll down and read all the other people saying similar things. This place ought to be shut down as a scam.

It hurts to even give one star. My first rental was dropped off with a full tank (I got fuel at the gas station 100 yards down the road). When I dropped off, the "computers were down" and was told I would receive an email receipt and of course I didn't. I was, however, charged $15 for a fuel fee. Because it was a a one-way rental, the manager in this office, Chris, told me I needed to contact the place where I rented it from, which makes no sense since they aren't the ones who charged me for the fuel fee. My next rental, I had a car reserved for 9:00am and was given the run around of "no cars are available" for 3 hours. After 3 hours, I asked Chris if the Airport location had a car available and he called to see (Why didn't he do this 3 hours before? Why was I the one who had to suggest this?). After calling, he said I would receive a free upgrade, to which of course I was actually charged $20 for. I would just recommend avoiding this location and going with Hertz, Enterprise, Alamo, or Thrifty.

Got a 26' moving van for a long-distance drive; over 500 miles. The vehicle I was given ran poorly (felt and sounded rough), had bad alignment that pulled hard to the left, a steering wheel that was centered while turned about 30 degrees to the right, and had front tires with uneven wear, including a knot on the driver's side and cracking throughout the tires. When I brought the vehicle back I was told BY THE MANAGER it had just been serviced and it was the best one available

I had a reservation but when I get there they can't find it anywhere even after booking a week in advance. To one up that even after showing my reservation they up my price 250$ for booking without one.

Had to exchange our vehicle and Melisa (I hope I got her name right) was awesome!! Compassionate and helpful. We got an exchange and a smile. Mind you there are a few other car rental counters but this is the one we walked up to and got service with a smile and super helpful. It's a small airport and this is off-season and not many people renting yet still very few cars available. Yesterday we tried renting a the other Panama City Beach Avis and they had no cars at all. We called this location and they were helpful but no cars other than mini-vans. Sorry. I'm not a soccer mom and thus a minivan will not be ok. This was our second attempt to trying to get a car and it was finally perfect! Very happy with the exchange and new vehicle.

After talking over the phone with a Budget Representative she said that we had no issues picking the vehicle up an hour earlier, she also said that we could pay with a debit card, that budget will just hold a deposit, well when I got there the gentleman at the counter (he was real respectful and professional at all times) told me that nothing what the lady said was right. What it means is that someone over the phone or at the store doesnt know what they have to do. Clueless. Made me loose over 3 house of my day. Went to Enterprise and they were able to help me. So, I recommend for you to go to Enterprise Rental Car.

I needed a big truck for a big move. Chris was so helpful every step of the way. My rental was scheduled for 1 month after Hurricane Michael and truck rentals were not always available. Chris went above and beyond to make sure my truck was there when I needed it! He made my move 100% easier! I would recommend to anyone!
