We have been visiting at PCB this week and took our boat. First day the winch broke. unfortunately the winch stand was dissimilar to any of the winches available locally so I had to modify a stock winch which required some unusual stainless steel hardware. I went to Flagala Do It Best for help and the gentleman there walked me through everything i needed to make this repair. I got back to the boat and had it fixed in 10 minutes. I so much appreciate the help this sales gentleman gave me and it certainly helped save our Vacation!! 10 stars if I could!!!

So when I call 7 different times over 2 days and I am unable to speak to anyone, it forces me to evaluate where I spend my money. I want to support small local businesses, but if I cannot get through your objectionable automated system where a live person is more rare than fresh unicorn meat, I am forced to move on to someone that can provide an acceptable form of customer service. I will likely try again because I want to support you, but you are making it very difficult.

Great customer service, and all the goodies you'd expect from a hardware store. I hope the day never comes that big box stores put the little guy out of business, because finding actual hardware (nuts, bolts, machine screws) is only possible at the hardware store!

This may be a small town hardware store, but it is lacking small town Customer service, employees are more worried about sitting on the stool behind the desk on their laptop versus helping people, and when you do need help, they treat you as an inconvenience. We will not be back. We’ll just go to Lowe’s or Home Depot where the customer service is just as poor but the item is in stock.

Following just one person around the store the whole time then when called out for profiling they asked where our money was saying they see us walk everywhere. We’re locals going to buy two things to do a wall repair. Nothing but disrespectful and disgusting people

Constantly followed my wife and I while we were looking for stuff to fix a wall, I asked them if there was a problem with something bc I didn't understand why I couldn't peacefully shop while being a person of color looking for an item that was only 3 dollars and when I stated I had the money for the items the two men there asked me to show them my money and before I had the chance to get my wallet they kick us out saying they see us walking all the time, we take the bus or walk to our jobs bc it's only 10 mins walking time but apparently you're broke and less than them if you have to do that or a thug/ thief in there eyes. racist people at its finest

I may have been skeptical due to the previous reviews, but I can honestly say don’t listen to any of that nonsense, these guys are awesome. This place is a hardware store yes, but they have all the essentials needed to start brewing beer. I literally walked in an was immediately helped by one of staff that genuinely wanted meet all of my needs. I highly recommend this place and it is well worth a visit! They have won over a loyal customer!

Flagala is the epitome of your 'local' hardware store. If they dont have it, they will help you get get it, if they can. The gentlemen that work there are always helpful and friendly.. even something as simple as getting a key made is a pleasant experience and makes you smile.

Needed a specialized metric bolt. Was ignored by sales person and then told rudely to wait by counter while he tried to locate what I needed. He said they didn't have the item and didn't look very well. I know they carry specialty nuts and bolts. Owner was outside and seemed to have no problem with the manner in which his customers are treated. I have shopped at Flagala since the store originally opened in the middle of the last century and Flagala was the only hardware store on the beach. Shame.

My Uhaul contract had me turn in my trailer at the FLAGALA on Front Beach Road. When I arrived at FLAGALA to turn in my trailer, the FLAGALA manager told me he was NOT accepting any trailers and sent me to a Shell station on Back Beach Road to turn in. At the Shell station, the Shell station manager me they were not accepting anymore trailer. He also added that if I didn't turn it in at FLAGALA, I'd get a $250 fine!!!! I called FLAGALA immediately to tell them I needed to turn other trailer to FLAGALA like the contract said and they HUNG UP ON ME!! I immediately tried to call FLAGALA back, and they would not pick up their phone. I was kind of upset at this point, so I decided to drive to FLAGALA to turn in the trailer in accordance with my contract. When I arrived, FLAGALA was closed!! it was about 445pm (they close at 5pm). Frantic, I called the Uhaul National toll free number. They sent me a cross the Hathaway Bridge to a Uhaul place that eventually accepted the trailer. Was not a good experience at FLAGALA for me.
