We used to come here all the time especially since the one in the mall is no longer there. We had been going since the old owners were there. However, since ownership has changed so have the cookies. Unfortunately, the last few times we have gone, the cookies have been stale and hard. We went today and our double doozies were hard as rocks, like barely could be eaten. It's like they had been sitting there and were old. It's tasted similar to this before, but these were the worst. We miss the way the cookies used to taste, but maybe we just haven't gotten lucky the last few times we have gone. Will always give it another try though.

I had never been in a Great American Cookies store. While waiting for Dillard's Department store to open at Pier Park, two of us decided a pretzel sounded good. Looking at the directory, Great American Cookies was close, it offered pretzels, we we made the short walk to the store. It was a delightful experience. The pretzels came with a variety of options. Despite the various options, we opted for a regular cup of the plain pretzel bites. These are small, big bite sized pretzels. They are different than the regular pretzels commonly seen in grocery stores and they taste better. They were very fresh. They were soft and cooked to perfection. One cup does not sound like a big order but the two of us split the cup and a coke and we were very satisfied. The pretzels were worth thinking about and returning because they were served hot and fresh and almost melted in the mouth. The staff was very friendly. Other options included a variety of cookies and cakes. The restaurant was very small but very neat, clean and attractively decorated.A small place, a limited menu with food that was perfect, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. It was worth a visit. I am looking forward to going back again!

Holy moly, a Double Doozie and one of their slushees is where it’s at. Great location with plenty of other things to do nearby. We ate across the way at San Marcos recently and I treated myself to a Great American Cookie for dessert. No regrets.

I was craving Great American and despite Rosemary Beach claiming they had one, it's apparently gone for now. So instead, we drove to Panama City to satiate my cookie fix. Unfortunately this particular location missed the mark. The cookies were so stale! Expensive and so dry and hard. I was soooo disappointed. My boyfriend is also a huge cookie fan and also felt the cookie pizza slices we got tasted like two days ago cookies. Ugh! For the price and the drive, completely a waste of time. Our friends got some brownies that also didn't taste fresh. I can't justify coming here again after such a poor quality experience. Hoping the one in Rosemary opens back up next time we come.

Such a great experience! I live in KY and called trying to get cookies delivered and I believe I was speaking with the owner. He was very very helpful and pleasant to speak with for a birthday delivery for my cousin. Will continue to use this store for future birthdays in my family. I’ll be in Florida soon and will be purchasing again for myself.

Placed order for a Birthday cookie cake delivery to a family member that lives in PCB. The cake decorating was very poor and did not resemble the photo with a person in the Jeep, wheels that didn’t match, no back brake light, as well as poor choice of lettering and size of lettering not fitting on cookie cake well at all.The recipient said the taste of the cookie was good, but the family all agreed it looked to have been decorated by a very young child.

I ordered the cookie cake with writing on it for my friends birthday. It was 8" totally big enough for six people. They did an excellent job. It was over my expectations It cost about $30 with a tip. I recommend it everybody loved it. I wish I would've taken a picture Before we got into it.

I ordered 3 different kinds of cookies. My Husband's favorite, my son's favorite, and mine. I drove all the way home and realized she did not give me my favorite. The rest of my order was correct but I am so disappointed as I don't like any of the cookies I was given. Atleast my son and Husband are happy but grrrrrrr !

Stopped by for some of my favorite cookies. The lady upfront was pretty rude. She would not even let me place my order before trying to talk over me. I think she was mostly trying to be helpful but the staff could definitely use some training in customer service. If you can wait to stop by another location I suggest passing up on this location.

THE ICECREAM SUCKS. MELTED ICECREAM. RUDE WORKERS. FOUR words to describe this "marble slab creamery". It's not a real marble slab creamery because the marble slab ISNT cold ITS like-warm. Which isn't good if you want to keep your icecream cold and NOT MELTY. It looked like dirty melted spoiled milk. NEXT, the flavors were gross, not what you want if you would like mid-normal icecream. IT WAS BELOW MID (UHOH). FINALLY, the workers. The workers don't know how to treat a human being. My friend and I are normal people who are cheery and where excited for a nice, "Marble slab" icecream mixture. The first thing that happened was, one of the workers walked up and gave us a mean look. Then when my friend ordered her icecream she rolled her eyes and looked at her for a long time before actually moving along and making our icecream. Then she walked away and didn't start till a long time. Then they started to make our icecream. Normally they put a nice big scoop of icecream on a COLD marble slab and put the e toppings on top. She didn't even put a good amount of toppings on she just put a small amount. Then she hardly even mixed it up. Normally they chop it up and mix it into the icecream. NOPE. This lady looked like she was doing it in her sleep. Then she put it into the cone and making it as messy as possible. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS LITERALLY MELTED ICECREAM. finally when trying to talk to her and let her know that there was another icecream cone. She ignored it and didn't listen to us. Then we hen finally tolting it up she didn't tell us how much it cost. She just stood there. Anyways, I highly suggest NOT to go there if you actually want icecream and a nice time. Not melted icecream and mean workers. Have a nice day, hopefully you get some good icecream in Panama City beach.
