The room was not like the room in the picture. There were no doors on the cabinets. The refridgerator had rust on the bottom of the front door. The bath tub was not clean when we arrived. There was cracking plaster throughout the room and bathroom. The toilet paper holder was falling off he wall. The toilet ran constantly. The ouside balconly was filty with dirt and someones leftover cantalope was still out there. The cover to the airconditioner was falling off.I had to ask for towels and wash cloths everyday we were there becuase they did not bring them to the room at all.People were throwing food from the upper balconys constantly and a piece of balonga hit me in the head. The walls were so thin that I could hear my neighbors cell phone conversation very clearly. The parking lot was small and shared by the Sharkys bar next door so there was no place to park my car at all.I had to park the car about a block away across the main road and walk to my room through alot of drunk people that were at the bar.On wednesday night, just after the bar closed there was a big fight in the parking lot right outside my room that lasted about 45 minutes. There was alot of noise and commotion with them revving up the engine of there big truck and very loud base music and yelling and fighting with alot of screaming. It was a very scarey experience for me and my 82 year old mother was terrified. We left a day early because it was a very uncomfortable experience. The hotel desk said that they would not refund my money for the last night that we did not spend there, but then he spoke to his manager, and the manager said it was okay to refund my money for the last night.I have not received the refund as of yet.The hotel was on the beach and the beach was pretty, but the hotel was a bad experience.

When we checked in there was a paper we had to sign about smoking which was not allowed, and I don't so I said ok. Then all we smelt there was cigarettes and Pot very strong in the elevators and each floor. We had a room that the shower would not work and told the desk that morning and they said they would have someone fox it but they did not fix it. We also had to share the parking lot with Sharkys and never could find a place to park without having to wait a very long time. I also had to give a $50 deposit when we checked in they said because of Spring Break. I understand that and why they do that; but followed by all the problems I should have not been charged that and I am not one the Spring Breakers. I will not stay there again.

Hotel is great right on beach just a few steps out back door and your on the beach only issue is parking lot to hotel is shared with sharkys and you almost can't get a parking space during 3pm til 9pm and they say heated pool but it's cold and freezing ocean is warmer then the supposedly heated pool it's lil rough around edges but I'd rather be on the water then 30 floors up paying 5times as much for a fancy room just to sleep in

Great for a simple peaceful oceanfront stay. Great service considering it was off season. The food at sharkys was pricey but my son ate free which was a plus for staying there. We will stay again next year.Rooms: Basic amenities. Great if you are there to actually vacation and chill in the room afterwards. Beautiful simplicityNearby activities: Swim with dolphins a quarter mile away, eat great seafood next door, we couldn't have asked for better value.Walkability: Beachfront access. My son was able to play in the sand safely while I watched from the room

Ok. The room is gross!!!! I found a wad of hair on the bed. The bathroom tub … I’ll post picture. My shoes was sticking to the bottom of the floor. The lady was nice at the place down the road that u have to go to check in. Check in process was a disaster. Very outdated but ok. The view was great from the balcony. The room smelled so

Really quite amazed with this place. The room, the location...a bargain at twice the price I paid. Room was spotless and comfy, walk right onto the beach, and anything else on the strip, too. I'd avoid Sharky's, though...unless all you want to do is drink. The food made two of the three people in my group sick.

The location is 5/5 strategically located on the beach. The room comes with a free coupon to 1 attraction at Panama City Beach per day. The elevator needed a better cleaning and always smelt badly. There is extra parking on the opposite side of the road because parking in the front is sparse.

Room is nasty. Mold on the ceilings floor is sticky, wiped it with a paper towel and it was black. Bathtub was disgusting and had dirt all in it. Didn’t have any towels, balcony door was janky didn’t hardly open but there was a gap where the door closes so you could see outside, and parking was nonexistent due to sharkys. Only good part about this hotel is beachfront, and that’s it. Definitely don’t recommend this place if bringing big group, family elderly or kids.

I wasn’t expecting anything great, but the location is ideal. The hotel definitely needs some updates. The shower felt like I was going to fall through, the tv has consistent static, but the staff was very pleasant. I am pissed because my deposit was never returned to me and of course when I call all I get is the voicemail. Overall you get what you pay for.

For the price we paid on a weekend, we were very disappointed. It was not worth the price we paid. Hole in the bathroom wall, no washcloths, electical outlets without covers. Room was clean but very worn. People in next room were smoking pot. The smell seeped thru the adjoining door. We had to place towels along the bottom of the door.

Absolutely loved it ! Staff was friendly and informative. View was perfect. Beds were clean and comfortable. I read a lot of bad reviews before coming here and was a bit worried but it was nothing like that. We had plenty of hot water and our room was clean. Great for a weekend stay ! Having Sharky’s right next door was convenient and golf cart rental right across the street . Not every single hotel in pcb is perfect. They are used A LOT so wear and tear is normal and this place was perfect for us. Thank you !

honestly this is the grossest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. our first room had bugs everywhere, no towels and a toilet that back flushed debris. after being moved to a second room, bugs were still heavily present, there was no head on the shower and the tub temperature knobs were gone, trash left in the room and on the porch, and still no towels. i’d save your money and look elsewhere.

I stayed here a week to attend a conference nearby. Most of the time, the front desk is closed. If you need to check in or have an issue, you need to go to Seahaven, the sister hotel, two doors down (west). When I went to check in, the one clerk was in the phone and did not even acknowledge my existence until she was done talking (close to 10 minutes). Once I had her attention, she asked my name on the reservation and told me there is an additional "resort fee" of $50. The rest went fairly smooth. She did the bare minimum but was not welcoming nor especially helpful. There is limited parking in front of The Reef. The parking is shared with Sharky's restaurant (owned by the same person). During peak times at the restaurant, the parking fills up, and you have to park about a half block down the road and across the street. On weekends, even that can fill up. If you're handicapped, you may have a problem here.My room was at the end, and right next to Señor Frog's. Their music is loud and can be heard till 2 AM. The walls were either thin or not insulated, so I could hear the neighbors on the other side. Bring a white noise app or machine, and don't say anything you don't want overheard! My room was old but recently painted, minimally decorated. The room was not especially clean but tolerable. The tub and sink faucet are flimsy. I had two towels and a washcloth, and two rolls of toilet paper. I had hot and cold water. The floor was not very clean and was gritty. I chose to wear sandals rather than go barefoot. One long bar for hang-ups, no hangers. The TV had cable but was very grainy. The AC / Heater worked fine. The mini fridge and microwave worked well. The only electric outlets are used for the appliances. There is an outlet behind the bed, but both plugs are used for the bedside table lamps. I brought an extension cord to use so I could charge my phone. On the positive side, the rooms all face the beach, and there are lounge recliners facing the beach. You can open the curtains and watch the gulf. The pool looked nice, though I didn't get to try it.My bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows. For the price I paid, it was a reasonable deal.Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants, shops, and fun things to do nearby. Some within walking distance.

On the beach! That is all we wanted was a sunset and sunrise on the beach on our way to visit family. Service was good. Super busy and check-in was stressful but she was very good with the situation. Room was mostly clean. Bathtub needs a good scrub and recaulk. Beds sink easy, but the couch makes a bed as well, perfect for parents and 2 teens.
