Retail was a breeze and super easy. Member at the airport for return helped me beyond belief. Jeep was fun and super powerful. It was also in excellent, brand new condition.

We booked and paid for a convertible 8 months in advance and when we arrived they did not have one for us. We paid for the most expensive car they rent but received a Hyundai, one of the cheapest. The manager lied and did not refund our money. Staff were rude and condescending and couldn’t care less that we didn’t get the vehicle we paid for and wasted over an hour arguing with us. I will never rent from Hertz, at any location, but definitely stay away from this one. There are many other choices. I cannot believe a car rental company could not provide a convertible in Florida. We wanted to surprise our grandson and ended up with a junky Hyundai.

This was my first time renting from Hertz, it was such an amazing experience that it definitely won’t be the last……. The minute I got to the check out counter my Hertz rental car experience was wonderful, everybody was professional and paid attention to my concerns, when I got back to the airport to check the vehicle in, the process was continuously smooth and professional, Because of that experience, Hertz is my new go to when I’m traveling

The rental pickup process was very easy. Possibly, because we are Gold members. The representative was extremely friendly and helpful. She provided us with suggestions for food even. We went straight to our car. Had no issues during our rental. And returning was a very easy process as well. This was one of of not THE best Hertz experience we have had. Especially with the pickup and drop-off process.

Insane. First day with car and it is lunging forward, asking me an oil change. I called hertz and they are asking me to go do the oil change myself. The supervisor also hung upon me.

Worst rental car experience I’ve ever had. The last time ever use Hertz, skip the pain and go enterprise or Avis.
First, they tried to sell me an insurance upgrade without telling me the cost and when I asked they had to look it up. It was almost the same cost of the full rental price.
Then, we were told they didn’t have a car actually ready. Cue the Seinfeld scene of not being able to hold reservations properly. Told me to come back in 30 min. When I came back 30 min later still no update and told me “they were working on it”.
Update, coming in on an hour and half since process started, still no car.

Left my husband's wallet on side door before red eye flight, Customer Service suggested i file lost and found report only to be told it hasn't been found. Funny thing is we could see it locked car. Since nobody answers the phone guess next steps are involving law enforcement.

I was pretty nervous to use hertz based on the reviews but I was booking last min and didn't have a choice. Literally all other agencies were sold out except hertz and I think it was budget, the one also owned by hertz with low ratings at this airport. I'm sure past concerns from others were valid but did want to share that I fortunately had a good experience. Getting the car was reasonably quick, no pressure to add extra insurance (just asked then moved on). The Nissan Murano I was given was a really comfortable and smooth drive. There was one ding in the driver's door so I took a video of the entire car to be safe while still in the parking lot. We did vacuum the car before returning as someone mentioned a fee for that when they had sand in the car (I usually don't do this with other past agencies if it's nothing super excessive and never had issues when it's pretty expected when you're by the beach but didn't want to get an extra charge). We filled up at a gas station about 3.5 miles from the airport when returning. Got my bill emailed a short time later and there were no extra fees for cleaning, gas, or anything about the ding I had documented just in case.
