I am on workman's comp due to a work related injury. I only get 60% of my check I am try to set up a payment plan for my credit card that works for me. No one can help me out and this company is very insensitive to people who have been disabled. If I could go to work and pay my bill I would. I also have been calling to file a dispute on two defective items on my account one is a shark vaccume and the other is a electric can opener. Neither one of the items work anymore. I was trying to get the items replaced or credited off my account so the credit card company transfers me to customer services and then they advise me to call the store and neither of those options helped my situation. I go online and look at my purchase history and everything says zero so if if can't see what I purchased why and I pay 100 of dollars especially for defective items no one can help me with? Once I am off Workman's comp I can resume normal payments but as of now I can only pay so much and no one can seem to understand that. Everything had been explained and still no resolution. My credit had suffered tremendously because of this and each time I don't meet the necessary requirements I get a 41 dollar charge to my account. I am trying to pay something but it may not be able to be a giant amount they want. Then if I pay what I can I get charged even if I pay what I can. Very disappointed in there response to someone who has fallen out of work not by choice. I have already been through a lot with surgery and rehabilitating to walk normal again and it's still a struggle for me daily. My money get tied up with regular bills just trying to survive and buy food for myself. I really think there is no hope in helping me because I tried to get help through customer service numerous times. I used to like going shopping there was my favorite store. I didn't ask for this.

Sorry JC Penny's. It was hot in the store today. Only one dressing room, clear across the store. I dread the sweaty march back across the store to try another size. Prices are too high, the store was empty.. just weird. I won't be back.

I have been a long time customer at the Panama City, Florida JCPenney location but I won’t be back. My husband purchased a ring for me, for our 10 year anniversary. After 2 years of wearing a ring sizer on it, I finally took it to JCPenney to have it sized and saudered together. When I left it, I was told it would be 3-4 weeks before I got it back. I really did not want to part with it for that long but for them to do the work I had to. I was told it would be back January 5, 2024. I dropped it off on December 5, 2023 and as of today (January 15, 2024) I still have not gotten it back. I went in the store on Friday January 12, 2024 to check on it and I was told it wasn’t back yet so I asked to speak to a manager. After speaking to the manager, she made it sound like it was taking so long cause of it being close to Christmas and the 3rd party jeweler is very busy at that time. She told me that Kayla would call the jeweler and find out about it and call me with an update on Monday January 15th. Kayla ended up calling me later that afternoon (Friday January 12th) after I left the store. She assured me she would call the jeweler on Monday and get back with me. It’s Monday and I never heard from Kayla but I’m hoping it’s because today’s a holiday and the jeweler may not have been open. Kayla also told me that my ring was not sent off till December 17, 2023. So basically, my ring sat at that store for 9 days before being sent to the jeweler. WHY would you tell your customers it takes 3-4 weeks when almost 2 of those weeks the ring is still at JCPenney’s.. Like I told the manager, I didn’t want to leave it for 3-4 weeks, if I would’ve known it was going to be 6+ weeks I sure would not have left it. I wish now I would’ve took it to David Scott Fine Jewelry like I did my 1st marriage / engagement set. I am not a happy customer at all and I will NEVER purchase another piece of jewelry from JCPenney!!!!JUST BE HONEST WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS!

JCPenney's has so few employees it is almost impossible to find help. I had to stand in the middle of the aisle and call-out,"Hello, does anybody work here?" three times before anyone appeared.

Only two of the largest retail stores are open at what used to be the Panama City Mall. These stores are Dillard's and JC Penny. The JCPenney has been completely renovated and is a very new and beautiful store, featuring a Sephora. The dillards is also an attractive store with beautiful marble flooring. Also open at the Panama City Mall is the multiplex movie theater but it is now very basic and not the quality it used to be before the main mall closed. Unfortunately the owners of the largest section of the Panama City Mall do not want to reopen the rest of the mall, with the bulk of the smaller stores for business, since the mall was damaged by the Category 5 Hurricane Michael in 2018. Locals are very upset that the owners of the largest indoor section of the mall refuse to have it repaired and reopened for business.

It seems they're just organizing and getting started with merchandise and displays. Customer service/pick up had only one person and dealing with that customer made two of us wait over 15 minutes. I'm sure improvement is coming.

I like this stores so much better than the other JCPenney stores in the area. They always have good sales, and some things on clearance.

Not a bad place to go shopping. I found a lot of good buys there and there were a lot of items on sale, but could not find something that really. It is in a great location with plenty of other shopping around it so if you don’t find what you like there, you find it close by.
