After 34 years with Mark McKinney Allstate I’ll let the numbers below speak for themselves and me about Mark McKinney Allstate customer care and customer service.Just 4 months ago my Allstate insurance with McKinney Allstate went from $743 a month to $307 a month when I walked into Jessica Lyng’s Allstate office (EXACT SAME POLICY).At Jessica Lyng’s Allstate office we ended up tweaking a few things - added the 55 and retired discount I was eligible for NINE YEARS ago, dwelling $325k instead of $363k, personal property $162k instead of $181k. Now I pay only $249/month instead of the $541/month I was paying last year (4 mo ago) AND $249/month instead of the $743/month it was going up to in June 2023. (AND instead of the $400+/mo the year before or the $300+ two years before.)I had asked Mark McKinney‘s Allstate office, Madison H., May 2022 to find me a better rate because it was cost prohibitive and totally unrealistic to pay $500+ a month and she said they sent my request to a producer - I never heard back.I was leaving Allstate after 34 years with Mark McKinney Allstate before I walked into Jessica Lyng’s Allstate Office May 2023.I didn’t realize there was so much variance between insurance agents and within the same insurance company/Allstate?I’m going to ask the Florida Insurance Commissioner what he thinks about it.

After having over 15+ years with Allstate, I must say, this local Allstate office is SHADY! We moved from GA to FL and my auto policy went from $260 to $320 monthly after they made me pay a $880 1st month payment even though I had never had to do anything of the such within all my years of moving around. They said after that payment of $880 the monthly payments after would be $320 but I saw that my monthly payments went up to $408 now...on top of all of that my Rental insurance was due to cancel at the end of the month without notice or any communication. Long story short, this Allstate office is the worst that I have ever dealt with for my 15+ years of moving state to state.

Worst place to get insurance. They let my insurance lapse and didn’t bother to let me know. When I called asking she made up excuses on how they are under staff and the busiest insurance place in nw Florida. If that’s your reasoning for letting insurance lapse. I feel for your customers. I would drop her name…. I think this is enough of a review. Go to Allstate Jessica Lyng… they don’t make excuses.

My insurance was 1500 a year and I noticed a big increase in my home owners insurance so I called the mortgage company to gain understanding. What I found was that my home insurance increased from 1500 a yr to just over 2900 a yr. I called McKinney to check rates after I had already shopped around myself and jad them check rates. They did it but said this wasn't normal. 2 days later they came back with a plan that had 70k more for rebuild and was only 2000 a yr. Well, well, why can you find it now when I ask? Is it easier to just sign me up for the more expensive plan with less coverage? I like to keep it local and thought you were nice people.

They were VERY helpful in walking me through processes that were initially foreign to me, helping me understand the "what, where, and why" during a very trying time. They checked and double-checked everything for accuracy before submission to ensure things would go smoothly and in a timely manner, and they did!
